Usher, Justin Bieber's mentor, has finally spoken out about the two videos that surfaced earlier this week showing the Canadian sensation using racist language and revealed that it's 'unfortunate'. 

In the first video, the 'As Long As You Love Me' heartthrob can be seen making a racist joke and in this new clip, he sings the lyrics to his hit single 'One Less Lonely Girl' although he changes the words to include vile racial slurs. 

Now, Usher has given his opinion on the two incidents to editors at Nylon magazine and admitted that fame means you can't step one foot out of line because the world is waiting for you to mess up: "It's unfortunate. I hate some of the things I hear. Is it all true? I don't know. But I will tell you this: success comes with a price. Every person that has grown up, grows up with something. It ain't (sic) just perfect from the beginning."

Bieber has since apologised for his behaviour and issued a statement, which reads: "Thanks to friends and family I learned from my mistakes and grew up and apologised for those wrongs. Now that these mistakes from the past have become public I need to apologise again to all those I have offended. I'm very sorry. I take my friendships with people of all cultures very seriously and I apologise for offending or hurting anyone with my childish and inexcusable mistake. I was a kid then and I am a man now who knows my responsibility to the world and to not make that mistake again."
