Usher plans to storm Ibiza with new album

Usher has revealed that he hopes to storm Ibiza with his forthcoming seventh album.

The 33-year-old singer, who previewed several of its tracks during a playback at London’s The Arts Club earlier this week, told the Daily Star that the new record, rumoured to be called ‘The Shanertance,’ has been partly inspired by the sounds of the White Island:

“I'm really happy with how this record has turned out but it’s only a sample. This is definitely a dance influenced project, so look out for me at the clubs in Ibiza.”

The ‘Yeah’ star, who recently claimed he would love to duet with Adele, also admitted the follow-up to 2010’s 'Raymond vs Raymond' showcases a more mature side when it comes to the opposite sex:

“When you start out you can be crude. But then you get older and wiser and learn how to talk to a woman and still get the same end result, you know what I mean?”

The new album, which features collaborations with Swedish House Mafia, Pharrell Williams, and Empire Of The Sun, is released later this year, with its first single, ‘Climax,’ out on Apr 15.
