Usher's stepson brain dead after tragic jet ski accident
Usher's 11-year-old stepson has been left brain dead after an accident involving a jet ski, it has been confirmed.
Young Kyle Glover was floating on an inner tube with friends when he was struck by a jet ski in Georgia's Lake Lanier on Friday, July 6 according to Department of Natural Resources Sergeant Mike Burgamy.
TMZ reports that he was airlifted to the nearest hospital and has shown no brain activity since the incident.
Glover's 15-year-old female friend was treated for a cut on the head and a broken arm, although he was unresponsive and has since been declared brain dead.
Singer Toni Braxton has tweeted both Usher and his ex-wife Tameka a public message of support following the shocking news and wrote (July 9):
"My heart and prayers go out to @TamekaRaymond & @usherRaymondIV during this extremely difficult time."
Ashanti also took to Twitter and sent a prayer to the family: "My heart goes out 2 @TamekaRaymond thru this indescribable time. I'm praying 4 u, Kyle, Ryan & ur [sic] family may God bestow his Blessings upon u all."
