Usher defends Justin Bieber: 'What he does on and off camera is always analysed or scrutinised'

Singer Usher has rushed to the defense of Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber by telling the media that the superstar is just a little misunderstood at the moment as it must be tough to live your life fully in the spotlight.

The R&B sensation made the observations during a recent interview with the Associated Press and explained that Bieber is just struggling to grow up in the spotlight as there's no space for privacy or for mistakes:

"I mean more money, more problems. The beautiful part about it is that those that are invested in a long term story you understand that there are peaks and valleys in every person's life some. Unfortunately the reality is he has to live with a camera in front of him, but what he chooses to do on or off camera is analysed or scrutinised in some off way."

Bieber, meanwhile, is due to unveil his new movie, entitled 'Believe', on Christmas Dayand the film's director, Jon Chu, recently told E! that the 'As Long As You Love Me' heartthrob is a troublemaker: "I think if [moviegoers] just see Justin the way I see Justin, they'll accept him - warts and all - and see that he's not as bad as the press makes him out to be sometimes, and he's not as innocent as he tries to paint himself sometimes."

"He's a troublemaker. It's what he is and he's charming as hell, but that's who he is and that's what makes him Justin Bieber."
