London Hip-Hop artist and producer and former iAm1 frontman, Origin is proud to unveil his long-awaited debut EP titled ‘Mathematics’. The Mathematics EP is the first solo project from Origin following a critically acclaimed stint as one half of iAm1, who garnered support from the likes of BBC 1Xtra, Kiss FM and RWD Magazine, and topped the Hypem Chart in 2011 amidst several appearances.

Featuring the previously released debut solo single “4” which was supported by the likes of MTV UK, RESPECT Magazineand DJSEMTEX.com, and “Plus (+)”, the music video for which was featured on SBTV, Pardon My Blog and Alt Soundsamong others, the Mathematics EP is an ingenious 8-track affair which not only makes for an enthralling listening experience, but also sets Origin apart as a honest and captivating artist with honest song-writing and lyrical dexterity.

Produced by Origin himself along with further production from TWB, Jaz, Bouncer and frequent collaborator Syn7ax, the Mathematics EP thoroughly explores several life themes from family and purpose on “Plus (+)”, to our desires to recreate life’s best memories on “MRC” and to social divisiveness on “÷”, to even exploring symbolic comparisons between first dates and drugs on “x”.
