Fresh from premiering his new single “The Only Way Is Up” on VEVO only a few weeks ago, with rave reviews and support from the likes of SoulBounce, Urban Development and TheNext2Shine, to round up a glorious 2014, British Nigerian Soul singer, songwriter and musician Midé kicks off 2015 in grand style by debuting the official visuals for “The Only Way Is Up”, premiered on VEVO.

To be released on January 26, 2015, along with a 4-track EP of the same name, via his MidesMusic imprint, “The Only Way Is Up” already ranks among some of Midé’s best works till date, which include a 2014 debut album E.G whichSBTV and the MOBO Awards described as “one of the standout projects of 2014” and “some of the finest, sublime Soul music” respectively.

Filmed and recorded by Plus11 Studios, featuring Midé on lead vocals and guitar, Dayna Fisher on bass, Max Lauderon drums and Gershom Mutambo on second guitar, the video for “The Only Way Is Up” is a simple, well-crafted and rousing visual display, which not only taps into the life-affirming theme of the song but also excellently captures Midé's energy and artistic individuality, and paints a glorious picture of the Midé live concert experience, offering audiences a glimpse into what it’s like to be at one of Midé’s live shows.

Speaking of live shows, Midé will be following up his successful 2014 UK nationwide tour, with the biggest headline concert of his career so far this year, when he headlines at London’s renowned Shaw Theatre on April 11. This will be preceded by his House Concerts series starting this month across London, which will see him take his live show experience directly to fans in the comfort of their own homes.
