J. APPIAH LANDS BBC INTRODUCING TRACK OF THE WEEK WITH "I AIN'T RICH YET"

Fresh from receiving its nationwide premiere on DJ Target’s BBC 1Xtra show and now being added to the BBC Introducing daytime radio playlist for this week, here is the brand new single from fast-rising Hackney-bred Acoustic Soul singer and songwriter J. APPIAH titled “I Ain’t Rich Yet” for your listening pleasure.

Taken from his astounding debut E.P Studiocoustic and produced by EMI-signed O.D Hunte (Wretch 32, Emeli Sande, Leona Lewis), “I Ain’t Rich Yet” is an uplifting and excellently-crafted tale of hope, perseverance and ambition, told compellingly and beautifully by J. Appiah, with his sublime blend of a resounding vocal performance and lush acoustic guitar string arrangements, that is sure to leave listeners spellbound and inspired.

It has been a whirlwind few months for J. Appiah which has seen the East London native not only recently release his well-received debut E.P Studiocoustic but also provide the theme song for former Liverpool and QPR star Djibril Cisse’s reality TV show on TRACE Sport (Sky Channel 442) as well as work with the likes of Scorcher, Fekky and Pepstar among others.
