Canadian alt-rock outfit Bleeker have revealed the video for their single ‘Highway’, alongside the release of their self-titled debut EP. 

Musically, Bleeker cross-pollinate the swagger of The Black Keys with a psych-tinged groove, but what sets them apart is an ever-so-subtle current of loose cannon danger that courses through every riff, note, and melody of their music. It can be felt surging through the brand new video for ‘Highway’, which captures the band’s unique uptempo, octane-fuelled, garage-pop sound. 

Comprised of Taylor Perkins (vocals), Cole Perkins (guitar), Dan Steinke (guitar), and Mike Van Dyk (bass), Bleeker live to play and play to live, approaching the art and craft of making music with the vigour and spirit of a band that has something to prove. The result? A fun-spirited EP that encapsulates the true mission of rock music: encourage listeners to dance, sing along, and forget about their every day lives for a while.

Throughout the past few years, the band have been steadily building a loyal legion of fans by touring their native Canada, and are now ready to share their ultra catchy, hook-heavy sound worldwide. 

Vocalist Taylor Perkins says, “Bleeker has worked really hard to be where we are today and we cannot wait to start sharing our music with the world. We’re all really stoked to get on the road and perform, getting to meet and make new fans all over. If you can’t have fun in rock 'n' roll, then where can you have fun? The band recently embarked on a US tour as support to UK rock sensations The Struts and will join The Summer Tour, opening for Sublime with label-mates ROMES, and Dirty Heads, across the States in July.
