Elle Exxe has announced her striking new single ‘Lately’, released on May 6th. It’s the first single to be taken from her upcoming debut album 'Love Fuelled Hate', due for release on September 9th. ‘Lately’ premiered today with 1883 today who described the song as, “infectious electro rock pop”.

The blonde bombshell returns with a swaggering blast of kick-you-in-the-face pop. The pounding anti-ballad sees Elle Exxe proclaim, “this is not me, you stole my sanity,” in sultry Rhianna tones delivered with a Gaga flair.

Exploring the concept of love’s transition to hate, the album 'Love Fuelled Hate' journeys through a gloriously twisted tale of flirtatious glamour and irresistible lust into the seedy depths of adulterous behaviour and its dramatic conclusion.

Extravagant and adventurous, it’s an invitation into the exuberantly animated land of Elle Exxe, which has already captured the hearts, minds and critical praise of The Guardian, Popjustice, The Quietus, Gay Times and many more besides.

Elle Exxe has been championed by BBC Introducing, Kiss FM, and also flown high in Music Week and Amazing Radio charts. Now also making big strides across the Atlantic, she’s been played on over 100 radio stations in North American alone, achieving big CMJ distinctions and chart success.

She’s also proved herself a formidable force live. From intimate beginnings at 229, London, Elle Exxe has gone on to play sold out shows across the capital and her Scottish homeland, while topping 2015 with the biggest headline show of her career at London’s KOKO as part of Club NME.

Elle Exxe will be debuting tracks from 'Love Fuelled Hate' live for the very first time tomorrow night, where she will be performing a special hometown show as part of Edinburgh’s Wide Days Festival at La Belle Angéle.

With her ever-growing international appeal, this will be followed by Elle Exxe performing four shows at the taste making Canadian Music Week, Toronto before returning to the UK for The Great Escape Festival and Liverpool Sound City in May.

The release of 'Love Fuelled Hate' will be accompanied by a self-directed short film, which is set to see Elle Exxe firmly establish herself as a creative powerhouse shaking up the face of pop.
