‘STILL GOT BLOOD’ DEBUT ALBUM ‘100’ – out August 26th BRAND NEW SEPTEMBER/OCTOBER including 5th October – London, The Forum
“Powerful indie anthems…a building, lighters-in-the-air number” - Billboard “It’s another clear sign that Brit boys with guitars can make music with global appeal [that] deserves to be blasting out of radios worldwide all summer long“ – Record Of The Day
London four-piece The Hunna have unveiled the video to their brand new track ‘Still Got Blood’, which gives viewers candid access into the band’s rollercoaster rise since their inception in October last year. With huge international interest building fast in The Hunna, US industry bible Billboard premiered the track last week, ahead of their sold-out show at New York’s Mercury Lounge next month. ‘Still Got Blood’ is a glorious indie anthem about the group’s struggle to balance their personal relationships with the relentless demands of being in a band on a rocket-ship trajectory to the top. The video includes footage of the band on the road, in the studio and meeting their fans. You can watch it HERE. Lead singer Ryan Potter told Billboard, “It's real from personal experiences. It's tough... There is always gonna be band stuff. It's about our first experiences of being part of this world and how it can change perceptions and realising and dealing with that. It's raw and powerful, but still fits into our sound with big guitars, pounding drums and anthemic vocals" Since bursting out the blocks in October 2015, with their debut single ‘Bonfire' / 'She’s Casual’ The Hunna’s rise has been phenomenal. With a collection of guitar driven anthems, The Hunna quickly made a name for themselves by selling out three nights at London’s Boston Music Rooms, in March, having previously never headlined a show. This was quickly followed by a sold out UK and European Spring tour. Latest singles ‘We Could Be’ and ‘You & Me’ have picked up support from all angles, making waves in not just the UK iTunes / Spotify Viral charts, but globally as well. As a result, The Hunna have seen continued support from BBC Radio 1, earning a spot on the daytime R1 playlist as well as being named ‘Band of the Week’. Due to demand, The Hunna added a second UK tour for this May/June and will look forward to sold-out shows across the nation, including a landmark night at Camden’s Electric Ballroom. The Hunna will also visit North America this summer and have a sold-out night at New York’s Mercury Lounge awaiting them. Establishing themselves as one of hottest emerging artists on the planet, The Hunna’s debut album, ‘100’, is due for release in August via High Time Records (UK) / 300 Entertainment (North America) / Warner (Europe). The Hertfordshire quartet will play the Festival Republic Stage at Reading & Leeds, the same weekend the band’s debut album will be released. They then head out on an album tour, their biggest UK stint to date, including a massive London headline show at the Kentish Town Forum.
