Wiz Khalifa confirms Britney Spears collaboration: 'Yeah, I'm on her new album'

'Black and Yellow' rapper Wiz Khalifa has revealed that he will feature on Britney Spears' forthcoming new record.

The 'Till The World Ends' pop superstar is currently working on what will be her eighth album and during an interview with Whoo Kid on Whoolywood Shuffle, Khalifa confirmed that he plays a part in it although didn't specify to what degree:

"Yeah, I'm on the Britney album. I actually got on there from working with will and Jean Baptiste and just being in the studio with those two just putting together some ideas. I think they ran them past Brit and something stuck."

Back in January, producer Hit-Boy told MTV that he was in the studio with her and together they were developing a more "global" sound: "I'm bringing my world to her world, so I'm infusing what I do in hip-hop and bringing pop elements to it. So it's just going to be a global sound."

Spears, meanwhile, recently told her huge online following to expect a new song from her soon, which also features on the soundtrack for the forthcoming 'Smurfs' movie sequel.

Rapper Wiz Khalifa has revealed that he's been taking financial and legal advice from tycoon, Donald Trump.

The star recently filed a lawsuit against concert promoters It's My Party, Inc after a concert of his was axed in Washington D.C. and he explained to Esquire magazine that he decided to take lessons from someone who really knows how to handle himself in the business world:

"Right now, I'm learning to sue people and get my money. After talking to people who work for Donald Trump - smart, successful people - I've realised I gotta go after all that. That's what I'm going to do that I didn't last year."

Back in 2012, Khalifa was named in a plagiarism case and sued for $2.3 million over allegations that he stole 'Black and Yellow' from a Pittsburgh man named Max Warren, who had a track called 'Pink N Yellow', which he copyrighted years before in 2008.

Wiz Khalifa promises to get theatrical at MTV Movie Awards

Rapper Wiz Khalifa has revealed his performance at tonight’s MTV Movie Awards will be more theatrical than his usual shows.

The 24-year-old, who will join fun. ft. Janelle Monae, Martin Solveig and The Black Keys as the event’s musical guests, told MTV News that he hopes his set will showcase a different side to his personality:

“My show is evolving and everything that I’m doing, so it’s going to be more themed.

“You know it’s for the movie thing so it’s going to be more theatrical, so people are going to see that side of it as well as me performing and giving my energy.”

The ‘Black and Yellow’ star, who last year made his acting debut in upcoming comedy Mac & Devin Go To High School, also admitted he wouldn’t mind if his performance helped him to land another movie role, adding: "That would be tight."

Wiz Kahlifa has announced that he is now engaged to Amber Rose.

The 'Roll Up' hitmaker confirmed the exciting news earlier this evening (March 1) after posting a photo, originally sent to Instagram, of Rose's hand adorned with a beautiful ring and he accompanied the picture with a simple caption that read: "She said yes!!!"

The pair have been together for a while now and Rose, who previously dated rapper Kanye West, took to her own Twitter page tonight where she added: "He has made me the Happiest Woman in the World!!!!"

Rose recently spoke to Billboard's The Juice column and explained that she is very much in love with Khalifa and they "will get married" when their schedules allow the time:

"We [Wiz Khalifa and I] are very much in love and we're really, really busy. He [Wiz Khalifa] is in LA working on his album. I'm in NY working on my album. We travel a lot, separately. We do want to get married and will get married. But we want to get married, enjoy each other, have babies and be able to take time off. We'll get married when things calm down a little bit."

Although he didn't win, he was happy to be nominated and be No. 1 on the Billboard charts for 'Black and Yellow,' saying, "It means everything, that's every artist's dream. You never know when it's going to happen and you can't really calculate it... It's a big deal."

U.S rap newcomer Wiz Khalifa has spoken out about his collaboration with Tinie Tempah and has expressed "huge respect" for the 'Frisky' star.

The pair recently worked together on a track named 'Till I'm Gone', which features on the American edition of Tinie's debut album, 'Disc-Overy', and Khalifa thinks the British star's relatable but quirky appeal will help him out stateside:

"His flow is amazing. It's different, but not too different that people can't grasp it."

"There's nothing wrong with being different but people are usually scared of the different and what they can't understand. Tinie has found a way to mesh everything and make everybody feel comfortable. Plus the girls love him - he's a pretty swagged-out individual."

The rapper chatted to The Guardian about being dropped by his record label in 2008, scratching his way back up and to the top, selling millions, and smoking herb with Snoop Dogg.

And along with his open love of illegal leaf, Khalifa was quick to praise the art of tattoos, showing off his heavily inked body. The rapper has tattoos on every part of him except his legs – a fact he plans to change soon.

"It's impossible to count", he said. "Just trying to, you know, diversify, man. I want to be an icon. To be an icon you gotta get tattoos in certain places."

He added: "Nah, to be an icon you just got to not be afraid. And I'm not afraid. Whatever I do, I do it because I want to do it and because it's completely, 100% me."

Wiz Khalifa denies feud with Kanye West

Wiz Khalifa has addressed rumours over an alleged feud with superstar Kanye West, saying that a story claiming the two had an altercation at Coachella was an out-and-out lie.

Rumour spread after Kanye’s live set at Coachella when Khalifa was said to have taken affront to the rapper taking a jab at ex-girlfriend Amber Rose with an amended lyric. During a performance of ‘Stronger’ West changed the lyric "I'll do anything for a blonde dike and she'll do anything for the limelight/ We'll do anything when the time's right" to "I did anything for a blonde dike and she did anything for the limelight/ And we did anything when the time's right."

Khalifa then allegedly confronted West and an altercation broke out. However, as a recent interview with MTV shows, Khalifa denies that this ever happened. Though he did claim misgivings about Kanye’s lyric choice, he also harbours no ill will.

"I did my set and we hung around for a bit, but we weren't even there when fam was onstage," he said. "Somebody made that up. I think they just wanted it to be that type of situation or they wanted to see something go down. It's fun to talk about it and make jokes about, but in all reality, that didn't even exist."
