Rex Buchanan releases his latest deep house record Zoomin’
On November 15th Rex Buchanan is set to release his latest deep house record Zoomin’, which is available as a FREE download from Rex’s official Soundcloud page as well as on Beatport, iTunes and all the major online retailers. Released via his own label Discosapien Records, Zoomin’ embraces soulful psychedelic vocals alongside heavy yet refined bass lines and is laced with underground house beats that come together to create a true to form deep house hit record. Rex also created a video mix of the track which be viewed on his Youtube channel.
Rex Buchanan is a music producer from Colorado, currently based in New York City and founder of Discosapien; an events company, recording studio, DJ school and record label. Influenced early on in his career by Daft Punk and Deadmau5, Rex’s musical tastes have recently moved on to the deeper sounds of Justin Martin, Dusky, Claude Vonstroke and Duke Dumont.
Rex Buchanan has performed at some amazing events in his career including Global Dance Festival at Red Rocks Amphitheater, Beta Nightclub in Colorado and The Gansevoort Hotel in NYC. His most recent notable performance was at a Pre Party for Big Gigantic at The Church Nightclub in Colorado as an opener for Vibe Street. He is currently rotating through several different residencies in NYC at venues such as Open House, The Attic and Proper West. Rex talks about his music, career and influences in more detail during a recent interview he did with online magazine Pop Vulture. Rex is involved in several upcoming projects including a debut collaborative album with a Colorado based singer songwriter under the name EMBR, also set to be released on Discosapien Records.
