For Immediate Release - New York, NY - March 8, 2017 - Amsterdam by way of NYC singer-songwriter Romy Balvers releases her new single “Make it Work” to digital and streaming outlets today.

She debuts the video for “Make it Work” at Dive Bar; located at 2662 Broadway in Manhattan, tonight at 8:00 PM.  Romy will also perform a live set and give away free download cards of “Make it Work.”   More details here.

Romy stepped out as a songwriter in 2016.  She self-released two singles, “Boy” and “Frail,” both with accompanying videos.  Both tracks will be on a new EP that she will release later this year.  Before that, she self-financed and self-released her debut album ‘Unbound’ in 2014.

“Make it Work,” like many of Romy’s songs, talks about dealing with the complexities of life and relationships.  "Make It Work" is a collaboration among many talented people in the music industry.  Michael DiLalla heads up production.  It’s mixed by John Agnello (Kurt Vile, Bob Dylan, Patti Smith) and it’s mastered by NYC-based Sterling Sound.  Drummer Paul Garisto (Psychedelic Furs, Iggy Pop, Ryan Adams) is featured on “Make It Work.”  The video is directed by Izzy Church, who also produced the video alongside Romy. It was filmed and edited by Marten Kayle.
