About me

Welcome to The M’goo Project. Where original music sits side by side with written word, theatrical dance and short film. When The M’goo Project project performs live all these elements combine to create a truly unique event, with the aim of bringing a new and deeper experience to its audience.

The band was formed in 2012, when songwriter and vocalist Mike M’goo teamed up with former music school friends Matt Warnock (Guitar) and Jeff Louch (Keys). Queen bassist, Neil Fairclough also features on bass guitar on some of the recording sessions.

The band divides its time between Montreal, Canada, and Manchester, UK.

The M’goo Project will release 3 concept EPs in 2014. All tracks are inspired by true-life short stories and this is at the heart of the The M’goo Project’s creative ethos. The captivating dance routines, showcased in the band’s videos and live shows, have been choreographed by Matt Holland (We Will Rock You).

The first EP, entitled ‘Dualité’ (released 16th Dec 2013) deals with the two extremes of love; strength & fragility.

The second EP, entitled ‘Fun’ (released April 2014) is an uplifting musical tale about finding the strength one needs to move on from a life commitment that didn’t work.

The The M’goo Project will be taking its captivating live show on tour during 2014.
