The hitmaker is gearing up to spend the next five months on his international Moonshine Jungle Tour.

Mars needs music to motivate him backstage, and has revealed his top tracks.

He told Entertainment Weekly: “Jackson 5. There’s a lot of that backstage, too. My favourite? That’s, like, the hardest question. ‘I Wanna Be Where You Are’ is a good one. Or something from Michael’s Off The Wall album: ‘Burn This Disco Out,’ you know that one? I play that a lot at rehearsal, just jam that.”

Mars says some of his choices leave him giggling before his onstage reveal.

He laughed: “We’ll put on the most ratchet music you can think of backstage. ‘O Let’s Do It’ by Waka Flocka was kind of our anthem for the last tour — every night before the show it’d be that one, so we’ll probably do it again, just for comfort reasons. We’ll jump around, taking shots — ‘Alright, let’s go!’ and then the curtain opens on a bunch of 14 year old girls."

The two stars will be reunited with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on the judging panel of the hit TV talent show.

In a statement, Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Late Night Programming said: "We locked in a plan several months ago to have the outstanding Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green rejoin Blake and Adam for cycle 5, and we're pleased to announce that the original four coaches are going to be back together in the fall.

"They're the reason this show was launched so strong for the first three cycles and we owe them a debt of gratitude."

Aguilera and Green were replaced by Shakira and Usher on this season. The two new mentors will return to the show for cycle six.

Telegdy added: "And after careful consideration of everyone's schedules for next spring, we are excited to be returning the current cycle of judges -  Shakira and Usher along with Blake and Adam - for cycle 6, which will premiere after the Winter Olympics."

Shakira recently revealed her desire to take time off from the show to spend time with her baby son.

She said: "I'm not going to be able to do next season because I have to get back to my motherhood and also get back to the studio, the recording studio, to finish my album, the one that I started working on before I had to deliver a baby and before I took this gig with The Voice. So yeah, I have to take a little break. But you never know, I might come back!"

NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt gushed about the opportunity of having all six stars on The Voice US.

He said: "We're very fortunate to have these six incredible artists to weave in and out of the show as their performing and recording schedules permit. The show has taken off largely due to the rapport and commitment of these great coaches, in addition to the expert hosting of Carson Daly."

Speaking to Digital Spy, he explained that Frank Ocean was a big influence on them this time around: "Yeah, definitely Frank Ocean was an influence. There were so many people that influenced this next album, just more the direction and the tone. We took our time. We all did individual things for a very long time, and we needed to."

He also admitted that fans will be able to tell the boys have grown up and are older with the new record as the content is more mature: "Yeah, oh definitely. We're all in our 20s and I'm 25 and married. The content is different than it was before. We're not talking about simple little things anymore, we're talking about actual things in life that matter. And I think that people have grown with us as well."

"Our fans that were 16, 18 are now also in their 20s and so they're dealing with real life issues and starting to have real relationships and families and things like that. It's definitely pretty intense and really cool to see."

Kevin Jonas (pictured below with wife Danielle) even revealed that he recently met some of the One Direction heartthrobs, adding: "One Direction's great - I just met Harry a couple of days ago actually, and he's just super nice. I'm just happy that music and pop is coming back."

She will represent the UK in Malmo, Sweden this coming weekend (May 18) with a track called 'Believe In Me' and Wales Online has quoted her as saying that fans keep saying it's unlikely the UK will win with such a strong offering:

"It has been said to me over the last couple of weeks, ‘You’re not going to win this Bonnie, your song is too good!’ Which is crazy, huh?"

Referring to being asked to enter Eurovision 2013, she added: "Firstly it was like, ‘Wow, Eurovision!’ I’d been asked 30 years ago and I couldn’t do it because I was so busy with 'Total Eclipse Of The Heart', which was number one and the album was number one too."

“About 120 million people watch Eurovision and I have a lot of friends in Europe. Maybe that’s why the BBC asked me because maybe they thought there’s a good chance. We have got a good song but you never know what can happen in Eurovision. It’ll be a great experience, I’m sure about that.”

The singing star has developed something of a reputation for writing top tunes off the back of heartbreak and relationship frustration.

But she isn't so keen on having the same done back to her, it seems. Speaking to NBC, Adele said that she would hate to be the subject of a forlorn breakup song - and reckons that anonymity, which she grants to her own song subjects, would be lost. When asked about having her relationship details public, she said:

"I'd f****** s*** myself. I'd be mortified. But also if they wrote songs about me, they'd be: 'This song's about Adele'. I've never given any names ever, but everyone's going to know this song's about me. No-one actually knows who my songs are about."
