Selena Gomez denies Justin Bieber relationship

Selena Gomez appears to have dismissed speculation that she is dating Justin Bieber again.

The pair confirmed their split earlier this year after dating for years, but recent Instagram photos pictured the duo getting close.

However, Gomez was questioned by Boston 108 about her relationship status, who asked:

"So sometimes you may see a boy walking down the street and he says, 'Let's grab an ice-cream'. You're available?"

Gomez replied to the affirmative, before re-confirming: "Yep! By the way, that would be awesome if someone asked if I wanted ice-cream because that would be cool."

As previously reported, Gomez recently released the raunchy video for her new single 'Come & Get It'.

It sees the singer and actress develop a more mature style as she looks ahead to her forthcoming new album release.

Rihanna has added two gigs to her schedule after she recently pulled shows due to illness.

The 'Stay' star has so far cancelled three shows on her Diamonds World Tour, with Boston, Baltimore and Houston all missing out.

The blame was placed on layrngitis as her North American tour got off to a stuttering start.

However, two new shows have been added in Texas for later in the year in what seems an attempt to make up for the postponed concerts.

The 'Where Have You Been' singer will now play the American Airlines Center in Dallas on November 11 and Houston's Toyota Center on November 14.

Boston's Dropkick Murphys raise "almost $100k" for marathon victims

Beantown's very own Dropkick Murphys have raised a fantastic amount of money for victims of the recent Boston Marathon by selling a brand new piece of merchandise.

The marathon ended in terror on Monday, April 15 after a series of explosions rocked the finish line in the downtown area leaving three people dead and over one hundred injured, and the band put a new t-shirt onsale (pictured left) through their official website to raise funds for those in need.

Priced between $24.99 and $26.99 (£16-£18), the garment's back reads "Thank you, to all who purchased this shirt. All proceeds go to the victims and families of the Boston Marathon bombings. Love, Dropkick Murphys." To purchase a shirt, you can click here.

In just 15 hours of the t-shirts going on sale, the band raised $65,000 (£42,600) and they tweeted a message to fans earlier today (April 19) confirming that they have almost reached $100k.

Boston is known for having a lively music community and 'Dream On' superstars Aerosmith are one of the biggest exports. Member Joe Perry told press at a conference in Australia this week that it was hard to leave the city for the group's tour because his family live there:

"It was really tough getting on the plane, I have to say, because the news was just dribbling in. As they were putting the body counts on the TV we were in the waiting room to get on a plane and fly how many hundreds of thousands of miles away from where my kids are. They were both watching the race and both of them have lost friends. I'm still digesting it."

Rihanna has offered fans an apology after pulling yet another gig in North America.

As previously reported, the singer recently cancelled a show in Houston, Texas due to illness - making it the third date she has shelved so far on her 2013 Diamonds World Tour.

The previous two cancellations were also down to illness and speaking on Instagram, Rihanna confirmed that she had been working whilst being unwell before it all caught up on her. The singer said:

"I was sick since San Diego! I kept working cus I thought 2 days off after the Vegas show would be enough time to recover and I f**ked up, those were 2 days off from hell and today is no different!"

She continued: "I'm sad and disappointed about it!! I had all kinds of plans for Houston!!!"

However, photos posted on her Instagram seemingly showed the 'Stay' star partying on her bus.

Rihanna has expressed her sorrow at having to cancel a show last night (March 10) due to illness.

The superstar singer was due to perform at Boston's TD Garden as part of her Diamonds World Tour but the gig was pulled at the last minute because of laryngitis.

Promoter Live Nation confirmed the news in a statement: "Unfortunately, following her sold-out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening."

It didn't sit too well with the star herself, with Rihanna tweeting that her pride has been dented as a result of the cancellation. The 'Stay' singer said:

"#BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down. I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!#DWT."

Chris Martin jokingly blamed the Olympics for making him forget the words at a recent concert in America.

Coldplay were performing in Boston when Martin took to the piano for the opening of their track 'Warning Sign'.

However, the singer fluffed his words and began to play random notes on the piano as the crowd cheered.

He then said: "I was thinking about the Olympics. I was distracted. I was not in the breakup frame of mind and I should have been. I'm going to get back into it. I'm going to stop thinking about pole vault, things like that, and I'm going to focus back in on the song. So is everybody else."

Martin continued: "It's a big deal, man. We've never had the Olympics in our lifetime so you can't blame a band for thinking about it every once in a while - 'God, the f**king Olympics are happening in London!'. What's more important is the best concert in the world is happening right here, right now, so we'd better carry on. F**k the Olympics. Let's have a f**king great time in Boston."

Chris Martin, who will perform with Coldplay at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Paralympic games, then played the opening bars of the song again, before stopping and telling the crowd: "Please don't tweet that I said, 'F**k the Olympics'. I didn't mean that. Please don't turn it into a news story, whatever you do, because we're going to play the end of it. Don't tweet that either! S**t, I'm in a big mess now."

Lady Gaga launches the Born This Way Foundation at Harvard

Lady Gaga was present at Harvard University in Massachusetts yesterday, February 29, to launch her Born This Way Foundation and she explained that if everyone changed just a little, the world could be a better place.

The pop icon took the stage at the Sanders Theater and addressed the audience both in the room and watching at home from the live stream, telling them "this is not an anti-bullying foundation. This is a youth empowerment foundation".

"If every single person in this room just told one single human being that's not here about everything we talked about, it's all about spreading the message. The culture of love is not going to change overnight. We have to start it slowly, but you are the answer, and know that, and go home and take with you that you are the future."

Gaga confirmed that the Born This Way Foundation will aim to "challenge meanness and cruelty by inspiring young people to create a support system in their respective communities" and added:

"I believe that if every one of us transformed just a small bit of ourselves to be ... a little more tolerant, [it would change]. The problem is there are so damn many of us!"

When asked by an audience member why she decided to launch the non-profit organisation, the 'Marry The Night' superstar admitted:

"It just kind of fell in my lap. I put out 'Born This Way' [and it developed]. My music speaks to it, and for whatever reason, this cause, it sits right here and it doesn't move. Wherever I go, it's always with me, and I have to do it."

"I believe that if you have revolutionary potential, you must make the world a better place, and use it."
