The two acts are performing at the Barclays Center in New York on Monday (December 31) to end 2012 on a high.

They are auctioning off tickets to an exclusive suite at the venue that overlooks the stage on website charitybuzz.

One winner will be able to take nine guests to the event, with the price currently sitting at $7,000.

Funds from the auction are being raised for the Downtown Brooklyn Neighborhood Alliance, which aims to create a new health and wellness centre.

The auction ends later today (December 28).

The 28-year-old was at an album release party in August at a gentleman's club in Queens, New York at the time of the incident.

Police said the singer whose real name is Tremaine Neverson became involved in a fight on the night at some point between 4am and 4.15am inside the club, TMZ reported.

Speaking about the incident, police said: "Tremaine Neverson, did throw a sum of United States currency at the complainant and said sum of United States currency struck the complainant's left eye causing substantial pain to her left eye."

It is not known whether the woman "assaulted" with the money was a stripper.

Songz was not arrested that night, but a month later for misdemeanor assault.

He attended a court hearing on November 1 and an order of protection was issued. He is due back in court on a date in February.

A representative for the singer was not available for comment.

The stunning 19-year-old, who is a student at Parsons The New School for Design in NYC, took over her parents' Manhattan eatery, Joanne Trattoria, for an extravagant photoshoot that channeled 1950's Italian cinema.

Speaking about her involvement in the restaurant, Germanotta said that it is very much a family affair: "I do a little bit of everything and adore my family."

Viralfashion.com's creative director, Christian Fleres, explained the concept of the shoot, which showcased pieces from designers such as Proenza Schouler and J Mendel, and said:

"Everything about the shoot was over the top from the oversized meatballs and the 20 pound fish on the table to the big hair and jewelry. We had drama in mind the whole time, for that day everyone was playing the superhero version of themselves."

The two British groups have been embroiled in something of feud recently after they took pot-shots at each other on Twitter.

They were both playing at a Z100 Christmas show in New York on Friday (December 7) and it was mooted that they would call off their rivalry and sort out their differences.

However, speaking to Yahoo, Max George said that the One Direction boys were in and out of the venue so speedily that they didn't even get a chance to meet. He said:

"We didn't see them. They were very quick to be in and out to be honest which was a shame because we wanted to but I'm sure we'll cross paths again some time."

George then quipped: "We try not to react too much to silly little petty banter like that."

As previously reported, The Wanted were recently quoted as saying that they wanted to call a truce with One Direction in honour of the Christmas spirit.

Speculation surrounding the pair has been rife after they were seen spending time together at New York's Central Park at the weekend.

They were then photographed holding hands outside a hotel following a Madison Square Garden afterparty on Monday (December 3).

The duo have now all but confirmed the dating rumours after yet again being photographed holding hands outside a hotel, this time on Thursday night (December 6).

It is said they were attending a birthday party that night in New York City.

One Direction meanwhile are due back in the UK this weekend (December 8/9) to perform at Capital FM's Jingle Bell Ball and then the X Factor final.

As previously reported, the rapper turned heads recently after he decided to take the public transport system to one of his shows in Brooklyn.

A clip taken from new documentary Life and Times: Where I'm From now shows an interesting chat Jay-Z had whilst on the subway.

The video shows the rapper sitting next to artist Ellen Grossman, who asks what his name is and if he is famous, to which Jay-Z replies: "Not that famous. You don't know me. But I'll get there some day."

He then talks about his tour so far before it dawns on the passenger that he might be famous after all, with Grossman asking for his name again before declaring: "Oh! You're Jay-Z! I know about Jay-Z!"

At the time of writing, the video has been viewed hundreds of thousands of times whilst Jay-Z's full 24 minute documentary has been seen 650,000 times.

The rapper isn't the first star to take the underground recently, with Rihanna notably causing chaos in London as she travelled to the O2 Arena earlier this year.
