The 'Born This Way' icon sat down with the charismatic host and divulged that she isn't dating, contrary to the rumours that always follow her around in the press.

"No, there’s no boyfriend. No, I’m miserably pathetic in my wedding dress."

"I haven’t been on any dates recently because I have been working so hard and I get very bored very quickly with men."

She also talked briefly about her controversial meat dress that was unveiled at 2010's MTV Awards, adding:

"It stank. It was fabulous. I never want to talk to anyone at those big celebrity functions because I feel awkward and it was great – because it stunk I didn’t have to talk to anyone."

Lady Gaga, who is currently promoting her forthcoming album, 'Born This Way', performed live in Cannes yesterday at the film festival.

The pop icon sang a great rendition of her latest single, 'Judas', and also did an extended interview with the French chat show 'Le Grand Journal' in which she discussed the new record and her creativity. Talking about her aspirations as a musician, she explained:

"I'm relentless. I never stop and if I ever get pushed back I just push harder. For me, I always wanted to exist as both a pop performance artist and as a commercial artist. So I used music as the sugar and the art element is the arsenic - the medicine - that I'm stealing through the work. That is my philosophy."
