Margaret brings European hit 'Thank You Very Much' to the UK

Pop star Margaret is bringing her European smash 'Thank You Very Much' to the UK!

The track has become a huge viral hit due to it's cheeky and not-to-be-missed music video, which has amassed over 2.6 million views.

At 21 years old, Margaret already curates a hugely successful fashion blog and is now fronting perhaps the most infectious summer debut of 2013 – ‘Thank You Very Much’.

Whilst the song itself is a fun and flamboyant pop anthem, the accompanying video has caused controversy in several places, from being initially banned on YouTube to being refused airtime on certain Russian stations. The video was eventually launched on YouTube and has so far wracked up 2.6 million views, whilst also dominating airplay charts across the continent.

The video is directed by 2010 MTV VMA Breakthrough winner, Chris Marrrs Piliero (Britney Spears/Ke$ha/The Black Keys) and includes over 30 fully nude (although appropriately pixelated) men and women, and tells the classic (!) story of teenage rebellion – although in this case the rebellion comes in the shape of Margaret’s desire to wear clothes. Very fitting for a fashion blogger of her stature.

Scandal, politics and controversy aside, ‘Thank You Very Much’ is a bouncy summer anthem with a huge contagious chorus that refuses to leave you long after listening.

'Thank You Very Much' is available on iTunes now and impacts on June 16th.

Pop sensation Ke$ha has admitted that while she doesn't compare herself to other female solo artists in the music industry, she has developed good friendships with several of them.

Speaking to the Huffington Post, the 'C'mon' star explained how she doesn't see other hitmakers as competition because they're all so different and when asked who she sees as peers or threats, explained: "I actually have no idea and I don't really know how to gauge that. I just think I'm kinda in a league of my own."

"I don't feel competitive with other women, and honestly, I'm not saying this to sound PC. I actually really love strong, fierce women that are just, like, killing it. It makes me really happy to see women who are just killing it at life. So, I don't really feel competitive. I'm pretty friendly with all the people I'm on the radio with."

"Lady Gaga sent me animal crackers and we've had a nice rapport. I know Katy Perry and I did a song with Nicki Minaj, and I wrote a song for Britney [Spears]. I mean I just have mad respect for whoever my peers are, but all the people that I've ever met with that are women I don't feel competitive with. I'm actually, like, way into women ruling sh*t."

Producer Rodney Jerkins says new Rihanna album is in the works

Rihanna is starting the process of making a new album, according to producer Rodney 'Darkchild' Jerkins.

The singer only released her last album 'Unapologetic' in November last year and it seems her recording cycle could be set to kick off again.

Speaking to The Source, Jerkins - who has worked with the likes of Lady Gaga in the past - revealed that he has submitted some songs to the next Rihanna record. Discussing his recent work, he said:

"I was working with Britney actually at the end of the year. She had me come on The X Factor show and do something with her, so we'll see what happens if we get a chance to work together."

The hit producer continued: "I am working with Mariah, I am working with Jennifer Lopez. I just finished a couple songs with Jessie J over in London and I also wrote a couple of songs that are being considered for Rihanna's new album, so there's a lot of good stuff happening so we'll see."

Rihanna's startling work rate meanwhile has seen the singer release seven albums in seven years, starting from 2005's 'Music of the Sun'.

Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio have filled the two vacant seats on the X Factor USA panel.

The show was two judges down for a number of months after LA Reid and Britney Spears left following the 2012 series.

Former X Factor UK judge Rowland and The Voice Mexico star Paulina Rubio have now been confirmed to replace the outgoing judges and sit alongside the returning Demi Lovato. Simon Cowell said about the new appointments:

"It's taken more than a decade, but I'm delighted to finally be on a panel with three girls (I think!). Paulina and Kelly both have great taste and massive experience in the music industry and together with Demi, this is going to be a fun panel. It just feels like the time to do something different."

Rowland meanwhile said: "I am very excited to be reuniting with Simon Cowell and The X Factor family. It feels great to be able to take this journey here at home in the States."

Producer Danja has hinted that Britney Spears could make a second volume of her album 'Blackout'.

The singer released the record in 2007 and the album, which spawned tracks like 'Gimme More', received largely favourable reviews.

Speaking to MuuMuse, producer Danja - who worked on the original record - said that there have been discussions about making a 'Blackout 2.0'. He revealed:

"I'm with everybody else. I want to make it happen. I've been in the studio creating for her. We haven't got in yet, we're just collecting songs and creating an energy. There's been a lot of conversation and a lot of talk. I don't know when the next ['Blackout'] is going to be, but I believe there's going to be another one."

Spears has been busy working on new material recently, but there has been no official word on what the project will be named.

Pop superstar Britney Spears has hinted that her sons, Sean and Jayden, are likely to follow in her footsteps where the spotlight is concerned because they both have larger than life personalities.

Speaking to Mario Lopez at the Wango Tango event over the weekend, the 'Till The World Ends' beauty explained that both of her boys are hilarious so they're starting to look into possibilities for their careers:

"They do like attention, so I think they would probably be a little good in the limelight. We're taking baby steps at this point as far as agencies and stuff like that goes, but they're little comedians, so we'll see."

On Mother's Day in the USA (May 12), she shared a personal snapshot of herself posing with her children and accompanied the picture with the adorable caption: "I've got the two cutest boys in the world! Hope y'all are having as nice of a #mothersday as I am!"

She added that it's difficult to maintain her healthy eating regime when her kids are around because they tend to enjoy naughtier snacks than she would usually buy: "When they come over, the snacks are constantly piling up and I constantly have to feed them. I'm like, 'Jesus! I want fried chicken too!'"

31-year-old Britney Spears shared her Shape magazine cover shoot with her online following yesterday (May 7) and she has now given fans another glimpse into the accompanying editorial.

She posted the cover via her official Twitter page last night and Entertainment Tonight put together a behind-the-scenes video segment about the shoot, in which the magazine's Tara Kraft opens up about interviewing the 'Till The World Ends' superstar for the feature and reveals her least favourite body part:

"For her, it's her derriere. Britney says that now she's in her 30s she does have to work a little harder to keep it perky and firm, but who doesn't?"

"She knew after doing yoga for 90-minutes two times per week and three hours a week spent with her trainer that she was in great shape and, let me tell you, the pictures prove it."

In the interview, Spears also opens up about her forthcoming Vegas residency and admits that she needs to be in peak physical fitness for the run of shows as they will be very demanding: "The [Vegas] performances won’t be simple—they’ll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed.”

Shape's official Twitter page shared her front cover shoot earlier today (May 7) and accompanied the stunning image with the caption: "Okay, guys, the wait is over! We're so excited to show you our gorgeous June cover featuring @britneyspears!!"

In the editorial, the 'Till The World Ends' beauty talks about her figure and specifically her backside, which she describes as difficult to maintain: "I like it, then again, I hate it. I'm in my 30s now, so I have to work harder to keep it 'up'."

Spears also reveals that she's using Nutrisystem, which delivers low-calorie prepared meals, to keep her eating habits on track and joked that it's tough to diet when she has so many food based vices: "Dieting is tough... because my specialities are spaghetti, brownies and chocolate chip cookies."

Will.i.am has suggested that Britney Spears' forthcoming new album will be more than just "beats and choruses".

The music maestro has collaborated with the singer in the past on the likes of single 'Scream & Shout' and it has been mooted that he will work on her next album.

Speaking in a Google+ Hangout chat, the '#willpower' man refused to confirm speculation that he will be an executive producer on the record - but he did reveal the album will be a "personal" affair. The Voice UK coach said:

"I can say that whatever I end up doing on Britney's eighth album is being taken with a real, serious care. When I talked to Britney, Adam [Leber] and Larry [Rudolph], I think me and Britney need to have conversations about life and turn them into songs. Not just take a hot beat and a hot chorus. I could do that all day. But how do we make it personal, when it bleeds from the heart? How do we take time and care and connect? That is what we've been doing."

Will.i.am continued: "We've just been having conversations and having lunch, meeting and having fun. Then we'll think about the music, after we've had all those bondings. That's why you'll see me tweeting about bonding and lunch."

Speaking in Elle, the former X Factor USA star said that Adele is not only enamouring through her music, but in her personality too. The 'Toxic' singer said:

"Her voice is just not like any other voice out there. It draws the emotion out of you. A lot of her songs kind of put me in a trance.
Gossip site TMZ quoted the 'Hold It Against Me' sensation as saying "I think that's great" in response to being asked how she felt about the death of Mickey Mouse Club star Annette Funicello (pictured left), who passed away on Monday (April 8) aged 70.

Spears, who started out her lucrative career as a Mouseketeer with Disney (shown below along with Ryan Gosling, Justin Timberlake and Christina Aguilera), told her 25.5 million Twitter followers that she didn't hear the question properly so wanted to give the correct response now that she understands:

"Misheard a question I was asked earlier by press while I was out and about. I am DEVASTATED to hear about the passing of Annette Funicello. She was a role model for me during my days as a Mousketeer. #Heartbroken."
