The singer has long been linked to working with the '21' star and it had been mooted that she could appear on his forthcoming new swing album.

However, despite being good friends with Adele's boyfriend Simon Konecki, it seems Williams is too bashful to ask for a duet. He told RTE:

"She and my wife, Ayda, are really good friends and I'm really good friends with Simon [Konecki], her boyfriend. We're good pals, but I wouldn't ask Adele to sing on my record. The whole world wants Adele to sing on their record. I think we'll just leave it as a nice friendship, so that story about a duet is totally made up."

The 'Candy' star, however, added: "I can tell you that Mr Michael Bublé is on the album. Me and Michael on the same record, I'm so excited! We're going to record a song I've written and graciously, he thinks it's a good tune too and wants to be on it...I am a big fangirl of him."

The Canadian pop-rocker is set to unleash the follow-up to 2011's 'Goodbye Lullably' later this year, following on from new single 'Here's To Never Growing Up'.

Lavigne shared some details about her new album with Billboard, teasing a wide-ranging sound and a collaboration with US shock-rocker Marilyn Manson. She said:

"The record's really diverse. We've got these pop-rock tunes, and then these piano ballads with orchestras."

The 'Sk8er Boi' star added: "I have a heavier song that Marilyn Manson's on called 'Bad Girl', and then I've got a song called 'Hello Kitty' that sounds like nothing I've done before. 'Here's To Never Growing Up' is one of the rock tunes on it, but it's all over the place."

The singer has been busy working on the follow-up to her debut record 'Sticks & Stones', which was released in 2011 in the UK and in 2012 in the US.

Taking to Twitter today (April 11), Lloyd said that she will be resuming work on her next record on Friday (April 12), with the album's end in sight. She said:

"Excited to be getting back into the studio tomorrow!! Getting closer to havin this album done!!!! How is everyone? Xxx (:."

As previously reported, Lloyd recently revealed that she will collaborate with US star Ne-Yo on a new track.

The song will be used by ice cream company Fruttare and it will speak about the virtues of having a positive outlook.

The tune will be recorded for fruit ice cream brand Fruttare and is based around a positive message of looking on the bright side.

Earlier today (April 10) Lloyd, who is currently in the studio working on her second album tweeted: “Excited to announce I’m collabing w/@NeYoCompound + @Fruttare on a song inspired by how YOU define #itsallgood!”

When asked about the song, Ne-Yo told TheDrop.fm  “I dug the [project]. I’m an upbeat, glass half full kind of person. So the hashtag, ‘It’s all good,’ and looking at the brighter side of things are how I’ve always been. So it just made sense to do a project like this. Plus, I really like popsicles.”

As previously reported, the girl group recently unveiled the promo clip for their new single 'How Ya Doin'?', which features a cameo from Missy Elliott.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday (April 9), Malik praised the group's video, which features girlfriend Perrie Edwards. He said:

"Gotta watch the new @LittleMixOffic video !! It's sick and missy Elliot's bars are hard ! Haha x :)."

Not forgetting his lady, however, the One Direction star then added: "Oh and p.s. perrie is quite fit too ;)."

The 'Kisses Down Low' hitmaker explained to Billboard that while the girls got together to lay down group vocals on the track, it isn't a Destiny's Child song and she doesn't want fans to see it as that:

"It's not a Destiny's Child track, it's me featuring Beyonce and Michelle."

Rowland added that the album, which includes 12 songs, is named 'Talk A Good Game' and it's due to be released on June 4 through Universal’s Republic Records. She said that the offering “feels like everything I wanted to make as far as music and R&B. I wanted to make sure my roots were really pronounced on this album."

In a Q&A with Reddit, Wayne Coyne praised the flamboyant singer and confirmed that they are planning a new, full release. He said:

As previously reported, the British girl group turned heads recently by confirming they had snapped up the veteran rapper for their new single.

Elliott features on the track 'How Ya Doin'?' and the X Factor 2011 winners have now released the track's video.

It sees the quartet perform in front of colourful backdrops before heading out to sing to an adoring audience.

Missy Elliott then appears in the clip to perform her rap cameo on the single, which is due to be released on May 6.

The pair are currently on tour together in North America as Swift promotes her successful 2012 album 'Red'.

They have been performing a live version of their collaboration 'Everything Has Changed' and Wednesday's (March 27) gig in Newark was no different.

However, Sheeran's in-ear monitors dropped out as they were playing, meaning the '+' star fell out of sync with Swift.

What resulted was a cringeworthy mess before Sheeran stepped back and sorted out the problem.

Swift is reported to have quipped afterwards: "Live shows, ladies and gentlemen. Give it up for Ed Sheeran, who's still playing even after his in-ears went out!"

The R&B sensation recently surprised fans after JLo tweeted a photograph of them together in the recording studio and during a new interview with Ryan Seacrest he explained that they have been working on a few projects, but nothing's set in stone yet:

“We are actually collaborating. I’m trying to get her on my album; I have a couple songs that would be incredible for her to feature on. But as for now, I’m just in the studio writing for hers and collaborating on new stuff and trying to give her some party music."

Brown recently confirmed that his new album is called 'X' and the lead single, which is set to be unveiled early next month, is titled 'Fine China'.
