The US house producer, who provided the vocals for the French duo’s 2000 UK No.2 hit, ‘One More Time,’ was reportedly found dead at his home in Austin, Texas on May 7.

Many of his friends and collaborators have taken to social media sites to express their shock at the news, which was confirmed by his sister on a Facebook post.

Boys Noize said: “it is so sad :( Romanthony and me were working on such an amzing song together. he said it was the best song he had ever written :( “

Romanthony, real name Anthony Moore, also appeared on Daft Punk’s ‘Discovery’ album track, ‘Too Long,’ and released two solo albums, 1997’s self-titled debut and 1999’s ‘Instinct.’

When asked about the ‘Kiss You’ stars by an Australian radio station, McGuiness stated that he initially had no problem with the group:

“It generated just because we were two UK boybands… People were like, is there a rivalry? Well yeah, in the charts there is, but we don’t have anything against them. But then over time it generated a bit of bad feeling.

“You hear comments they’ve said in interviews to wind you up, and vice versa and then…it’s kind of fake, but then a few of the lads have wound me up personally.”

The 22-year-old then admitted that although he likes Harry Styles, he’s often irritated by the behaviour of several of his bandmates:

“I think he’s retained manners and a bit of dignity, whereas some of them, when they mouth off it really gets under my skin. It riles up loads of 14 year old girls and there’s no need for that, just talk to us.”

Tomlinson then appeared to acknowledge the interview on Twitter last night by tagging McGuiness’s profile with the message:

"So frustrating when people talk the talk in the press but when it comes down to it not a word is said face to face!"

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Green said:

"When I caught my first groper fish on 'Extreme Fishing', it reminded me of Simon. With all the cosmetic surgery he’s had, he is looking more like a groper fish. He looks as if he’s been shot out of a cannon."

Robson Green joined forces with his 'Soldier Soldier' acting pal, Jerome Flynn, on a cover version of 'Unchained Melody' which Green didn't want to sing. He said:

"I didn’t want to sing. I was already being paid a fortune for what I was doing but Simon wouldn’t let it go. He was pestering my mother all the time, wanting me to sing that bloody song with Jerome.

"I got a lawyer to stop him ringing her, then I called him myself and told him, “If you do it again I will take this to court. This is harassment.

"Then Simon said, 'Can I just say, I will give you THIS amount of money if you record the song.' The amount was in seven figures .  .  . of course I said 'yes'."

Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' to become the UK’s second biggest selling album to date, according to the Official Charts Company.

The Swedish band’s 1992 Best Of collection has inched ahead of The Beatles’ 1967 album by nearly 15,000 copies with both albums selling over 5.1 million copies in the UK.

The announcement coincides with this year’s Eurovision Song Contest being held in the group’s homeland; ABBA famously won Eurovision in 1974 with Waterloo, which became their first ever Number 1 single on the UK’s Official Singles Chart.

ABBA founder / songwriter Björn Ulvaeus told OfficialCharts.com "It’s feels unreal - outselling the greatest record of all time!"

An estimated one in five British households owns a copy of either 'Gold' or 'Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band'.

'Gold' features all nine of the Swedish band’s Official Singles Chart Number 1s – including 'Waterloo', 'Mamma Mia', 'Fernando', 'Dancing Queen', 'Knowing Me Knowing You', 'The Name Of The Game', 'Take A Chance On Me', 'The Winner Takes It All', and 'Super Trouper' – and has spent a total of eight weeks at No.1 on the Official Albums Chart.

Former-ABBA blonde Agnetha Faltskog may have her highest charting solo album of her career later today (May 19). Faltskog's new album, 'A', could go Top 10 when the new Official Albums Chart Top 100 is announced.

The X Factor winners uploaded the clip yesterday (June 4), paying homage to the superstar singer.

The stripped back cover sees the four girls sitting on a sofa with nothing but their vocals and a few finger clicks for accompaniment.

As previously reported, Little Mix recently unveiled the cover for their latest single, 'Wings'.

The song marks the follow-up to their debut release, a cover of Damien Rice's 'Cannonball' - this time however, the quartet helped to write the track.

Polish producer Jimek beat 3,000 entrants in the contest to remix her current single, ‘End Of Time,’ and was rewarded with a personal message from the 30-year-old superstar on the video call service.

Beyonce said: "You did a fantastic job. Thank you so much. I'm very grateful that so many people participated, but you were incredible.

"We were all very impressed, and you're very talented. I wish you all the success in the world. Stay as humble as you are."

Electro pioneer Giorgio Moroder, Florence + The Machine’s Isabella Summers and Dutch DJ Afrojack helped the former Destiny’s Child star to pick the best interpretation, which will now appear on her upcoming '4: The Remix' E.P.

The 'Halo' superstar has asked fans around the world to submit creative remixes of the catchy song via her site BeyoncéOnline.com and the message she posted explains that the best version will not only win $4,000, but will also be featured on "an upcoming Beyoncé release".

Although the website hasn't yet confirmed a date or anything more specific on the potential new offering, it seems possible that her fifth single from '4' could be 'End Of Time'. 

She has now made her first public appearance since the birth of her first child, Blue Ivy Carter, and was photographed at Jay-Z's recent Carnegie Hall concert.
