The singer was performing at the Las Vegas event when he decided to jump over the crowd onto another part of the stage.

However, it didn't go to plan and one of his feet kicked a female fan in the head, whilst another member of the audience's arm was hit.

Miguel was left sprawled out on the stage as he sang the song, with the audience looking on in bemusement and shock.

Speaking to Billboard about the incident, the singer revealed that he apologised for the accident and has since become friends with one of victims. Standing alongside the fan, he said:

"Well, I think it's kind of clear what happened. But I'm very happy to bring my new friend, Khyati, we just met. Unfortunately we did not meet under the best circumstances, but I think we're Ok. The crazy thing is, when you're performing and you're just kind of into it, you never know where it's gonna go and where you're gonna go with it, and how that might turn out. So this is one of the less favourable moments. [I] got caught up in the moment, thank goodness Khyati is Ok."

As previously reported, the singer won three awards at the Las Vegas ceremony - Top Male Artist, Top Social Artist and Milestone.

When he collected the latter gong, he asked for people to concentrate on his music and not the other "bullsh*t". The 'Believe' star said:

"I'm 19 years old. I think I'm doing a pretty good job. From my heart, I really just want to say, it should really be about the music, it should be about the craft that I'm making. This is not a gimmick. I'm an artist, and I should be taken seriously, and all this other bullsh*t should not be spoken of."

However, it appears that the singer was booed by some sections of the crowd as he asked to be taken seriously.

Bieber seemed largely nonplussed after the event, tweeting: "Grateful to my #Beliebers. Our awards. Love u. I love music, my fans, my family, my friends..And I love The Lord."

The US house producer, who provided the vocals for the French duo’s 2000 UK No.2 hit, ‘One More Time,’ was reportedly found dead at his home in Austin, Texas on May 7.

Many of his friends and collaborators have taken to social media sites to express their shock at the news, which was confirmed by his sister on a Facebook post.

Romanthony, real name Anthony Moore, also appeared on Daft Punk’s ‘Discovery’ album track, ‘Too Long,’ and released two solo albums, 1997’s self-titled debut and 1999’s ‘Instinct.’

The superstar posted: "I heard an early demo of #OohLaLa smurfed its way onto the internet today :( The real version will be at radio and iTunes June 16th :)"

"I have always loved the Smurfs as a kid and now my boys are the biggest Smurfs fans ever." 

"I wanted to surprise them with a song in the movie. I know they'll think it's Smurftastic!"

'The Smurfs 2', which is released in the US and the UK on July 31, will follow the Smurfs on a mission with the help of their human friends to find Smurfette, after she is taken by their archrival Gargamel. 

The track is taken from the upcoming 'Smurfs 2' movie, and was leaked in full on May 17. However, Spears has admitted that the leaked version is simply an "early demo".

During a new interview with Company magazine, the 'Skyscraper' beauty explained that when she sought treatment in 2010 for "physical and emotional issues", which included self-harm and an eating disorder, she expected more support from people she originally considered to be friends:

"A couple of months before I went to rehab, I had a birthday party and there were a couple of hundred people there. It was full of people who I considered my closest friends. When I turned my phone on after being in rehab for three months, I expected lots of text messages and phone calls. I had four texts. That was a wake-up call. I have severe trust issues but I try not to be jaded."

Referring to her circle of friends now, Lovato added that it's much smaller but is tighter and more real than ever: "I don't have loads of friends. I used to, but then I realised, do any of them actually care? Now I have people who, if I break my leg in the middle of the night, they'll come to the hospital with me. Or they'll answer the phone at 4am if I need them."

She also dismissed rumours that suggested she had dated One Direction's Niall Horan and stressed that she isn't interested in gossip: "I don't care about Taylor Swift's love life. I don't care about Harry Style's love life. I care about mine. I find it weird that people are so obsessed with other people's love lives!"

The issue of Company magazine Lovato features in, and also graces the cover, will hit newsstands on May 8.

Speaking to Teen Vogue, the Canadian superstar revealed that he doesn't trust anyone at the moment and that has limited his circle of companions.

However, Bieber believes that he is the happiest when surrounded by people who genuinely love him, such as family. The 'Boyfriend' man said:

"I get good vibes from people all the time, and I probably could get along with them and be their friend, but now I just don't trust anybody. Literally, my phone never rings. I only have, like, four people that I keep in contact with. I don't need a bunch of friends to make me happy. I just need the people close to me that I love, that's all."

When asked who his friends are, he replied: "My dad, my mom, Ryan [Good]. Ryan and Chaz [his friends from home]. [Lil] Twist is my best friend. They don't see me as Justin Bieber, but just see me as Justin."

As previously reported, Bieber's manager Scooter Braun recently revealed that his client has penned a "smash hit" song for The Wanted.

The pop star is releasing the track '22' from her successful 2012 album 'Red', which spawned hits such as 'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together'.

Swift debuted the video for the song today (March 13) on Good Morning America only hours before she begins her massive 2013 North American tour.

The clip sees the singer having a good time with her real-life friends as they hit the beach and party together.

As previously reported, Swift has revealed that her upcoming 'Red' tour will see the star perform a more "mature" stage show.

She also teased fans by telling them to expect the unexpected.

Speaking to the new issue of InStyle magazine, the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' songstress explained that writing about her feelings became cathartic and helped with the loneliness she was feeling at the time:

"When you're dealing with something like loneliness or confusion or rejection or frustration, those emotions are so jumbled up in your head. For me, the only way to condense them down into one thing is to write and three and a half minute song about it."

Swift added that she went through a 'tough time' at school so setting her thoughts to music was her escape from that:

"I first started writing songs because I didn't really have anyone else to talk to. As sad as that sounds, I was going through this really hard time at school where I didn't have any friends. Songwriting for me just started out as therapy."

The R&B sensation attended the music legend's AIDS Foundation gala over the weekend and explained that they struck up a bond, and he hopes they might even collaborate in the future:

"I met Elton about a year ago, and he's been a good friend to me. Music is music. It transcends everything, so I would love it if we could work together."

"I lost my phone... Not the one I use (for calls) but that (one that) has no signal and has my album on it and it isn’t locked."

Bandmate Harry Styles, however, is keen on something a bit more specific - some underwear and socks. He said:

The pair were snapped together enjoying downtime around Manhattan and were also seen emerging from the same hotel, although have neither confirmed or denied if they're actually dating or just friends.

'Little Things' singer Louis Tomlinson was asked about the nature of Swift and Styles' relationship by People magazine and while he was cautious to protect their privacy, he did admit that she's a great girl: "I'm happy they're good friends."

Liam Payne also weighed in on the highly-publicised situation and added that she is a "really lovely girl".

Meanwhile, Swift took to her official Twitter page this morning (December 10) and told her fans that the premiere for her new music video is fast approaching: "Guys. @MTV is going premiere the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' video on MTV First: Taylor Swift on December 13 at 4:40 pm ET. I am excited."
