Cheryl Cole: "Beauty comes from within"

Cheryl Cole believes that true beauty is on the inside.

The Girls Aloud singer is well known for her good looks, but she told French website Get The Look that it isn't always just about how you look on the outside.

The 'Call My Name' star said that sometimes no amount of makeup can beat some inner gorgeousness. She said:

"You can wear all the make-up you want, but beauty comes from within. A lot of people say it's a cliché, but it's so true."

Cole continued: "If you feel beautiful inside, you can tell. So you need to feel comfortable within yourself, which is definitely not always easy - but you should try!"

Despite the inner beauty talk, the singer is long associated with makeup company L'Oreal and she was recently in Cannes to promote the brand.

The 18-year-old ‘Party Over’ star told Javari.co.uk “''I have a lucky pair of shoes I wear to perform, I wore them on the Girls Aloud tour... the one night I didn't wear them I lost the hearing in my ears ... I came off stage and knew it was the shoes ... so now I'm kind of paranoid about always wearing them!''

The pink-coiffed singer also talked about her “X Factor audition shoes”, a pair of coral brogues she wore on her first appearance for the talent show.

''I will never throw away my 'X Factor' audition shoes, they're so worn out and full of holes but every time mum tries to throw them out I go crazy,” she revealed. “I keep them in a satin box in my bedroom.”

Snoop Dogg on pimp past: 'A lot of athletes bought p***y from me'

Rap hitmaker Snoop Dogg has confessed that while he sang about being a pimp he actually was one for a while after taking advantage of the female attention he attracted as a music star.

Speaking exclusively to Rolling Stone magazine, the 'Drop It Like It's Hot' rapper explained that once he realised he could control big groups of women with his power he "put an organization together" and dealt them out to his friends and athletes for a fee:

"I put an organization together. I did a Playboy tour, and I had a bus follow me with ten bitches on it. I could fire a bitch, f**k a bitch, get a new ho: It was my program. City to city, titty to titty, hotel room to hotel room, athlete to athlete, entertainer to entertainer."

Referring specifically to the interest his services would garner from athletes, he added: "If I'm in a city where where the Denver Broncos or the Nuggets play, I get a couple of they players to come hang out, pick and choose, and whichever one you like comes with a number. A lot of athletes bought pussy from me."

Despite working as a pimp, Snoop admitted that he never kept any of the money he made and gave it all to the girls: "I'd act like I'd take the money from the bitch, but I'd let her have it. It was never about the money; it was about the fascination of being a pimp . . . As a kid I dreamed of being a pimp, I dreamed of having cars and clothes and bitches to match. I said, 'F**k it - I'm finna do it.'"

Sarah Harding banned from driving for six months

Sarah Harding has been given a six-month driving ban.

The Girls Aloud singer picked up the punishment today (April 16) after pleading guilty to driving whilst using a mobile phone on April 4.

She has also been fined £500 and was ordered to pay £105 in other costs as the Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court made their verdict.

Harding, who already had nine points on her licence for speeding tickets, was seen making a phone call whilst driving in central London earlier this month.

Her lawyer argued that she was lost after finishing up a business meeting.

Harding said in a statement after her verdict: "Too many people use their mobile phone whilst driving and think its acceptable. It is not. Every year people die or are seriously injured because they were distracted making that 'oh so important call'. Mobile phones are a convenient tool for modern life but they must be used safely. I made a mistake by using my phone whilst driving, but I was lucky. I accept the courts penalty but it could have been a lot worse. I have learned my lesson."

The pop group recently called it a day for good after completing their 10th anniversary reunion tour.

Speaking to LOOK magazine, Harding said that in the band, she and Nadine Coyle were the most interested in vocals and music, suggesting that the other members were more keen on other aspects. She said:

"Me and Nadine are more music-orientated – more vocals – and the other three are more about dancing. I'd put my foot down about the music side of things. Nicola was more about the clothes. Choreography is Cheryl's forte. When there's five of you, it's difficult to have a say in everything.
In a long tweet posted just hours after the group performed in Liverpool, Girls Aloud indeed confirmed that they will be splitting up for good. They said:

"Dear Alouders, we just want to say from the bottom of our hearts Thank you!! This tour has been an amazing experience and the perfect chance to say thank you for being on this journey with us through a decade. It has far exceeded any of our dreams and we hope we are forever your inspiration and reminder that dreams really do glitter!! Your love and support will stay with us forever but we have now come to the end of our incredible time together. Love you lots."

Girls Aloud formed in 2002 after winning TV show Popstars: The Rivals.

Girls Aloud cancel one of their Dublin tour dates

Well-loved beauties Girls Aloud have confirmed that they will no longer play their scheduled Dublin concert because of 'production transportation' issues.

The 'Biology' stars were due to perform at the O2 Arena in Dublin on March 17, but have now released a statement explaining that it's no longer possible for them to honour the commitment:

"Unfortunately, due to unforeseen time restraints with the transportation of production equipment between the Irish & UK tour dates, the extra Girls Aloud concert added on Sunday 17th March 2013 at The O2 has been cancelled."

The ladies also revealed that the date won't be rescheduled to a different date because of how their tour has been planned in terms of locations and routes: "Due to tour routing it has not been possible to reschedule this date."

Fans will be eligible for a full refund if they bought tickets for this particular concert or will be able to exchange for a different Irish date as Girls Aloud are still due to perform in Belfast on March 13-14 and at Dublin's O2 Arena on March 16.
