She attended a 'Glee' screening at the TV Academy of Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood yesterday (May 1) and fainted during a press conference, but following the incident she tweeted that it was a result of flashing camera bulbs:

"Hey guys, I'm okay :) I got a little dizzy from all the photog flashes! You'd think I's be used to it by now, still a red carpet amateur I guess. Gonna get checked out but I feel fine. Thank you for all the concern and well wishes."

Earlier this afternoon (May 2), she hit out at newly surfaced reports that suggest she has an eating disorder or is pregnant and explained that she wouldn't purposely harm her body to fit a Hollywood stereotype:

"Lol. Let me stop the rumor mill right now. I'm not pregnant! Yes I'm black but I don't have diabetes, I don't starve myself to fit clothes; I buy clothes to fit ME not vice versa, I DO NOT DIET; I eat right and exercise!"

"I love myself waaaay more than I like my career. I would never ever put myself in harm's way to mirror any "image". Come on ppl. Get a life. I did get a great laugh this morning reading all the BS though lol."

Cole was tipped to make it big in the US when Simon Cowell snapped her up for the first series of X Factor USA.

She recently went on record to say that she felt it wasn't her Geordie accent that initiated her X Factor downfall - something which Matthew Morrison agrees with.

Speaking to Yahoo's omg!, the Glee star reckoned it was all just down to timing. He said:

"I don't think it's anything because of her. The US market is hard to break for anyone it's all about timing."

He added: "She has the potential to be a huge star in the US, it's just going to be a timing thing."

Morrison added that he thought Cole was "so nice" and "very beautiful" when he met her. He said:

I come to London a lot and you hear about Cheryl Cole. It was great to meet her and talk to her as a human being. She's so wonderful so genuine, so nice and very beautiful."

The singer was recently quoted in a newspaper as saying that the cover was "ultra dry" and "dinky" sounding.

However, the Hollywood Reporter says that Gotye addressed these claims at an intimate show in Hollywood on Monday (April 23). In relation to his "dinky" comment, Gotye said he was talking about the "xylophone hook in my song - it's kind of dinky not just in the cover version but the original song."

In fact, Gotye is said to have even praised the cover, saying:

"I thought it was really clever to transpose the song to two guys...It was a great idea."

In an exclusive interview with The Insider, the actress explained that despite being included in the season 3 trailer that was released back in September 2011, she will miss being on the show and she's sad that her time there had to end the way it did:

"It is what it is. Lauren's somewhere in that school, she's just not on camera or being talked about [laughs]. She's involved in activities that aren't televised."

"Of course I miss me on 'Glee'. I miss everybody. I miss the fun experience that show is."

She also spoke about the flighty nature of the 'Glee' experience and revealed that getting cut is a possibility for any of the cast because nothing's ever set in stone:

" 'Glee' is very much a fly by the seat of your pants [operation] in the way that best laid plans never quite come together. They have so many [characters] to take care of and I think once they made the decision that all these characters were going to graduate, it shifted the way this season was going to go."

Speaking to the Sunday Mail, Gotye said that whilst the instrumental side of the track was performed "faithfully", he didn't exactly think much of the vocals. He said:

"They did such a faithful arrangement of the instruments but the vocals were that pop Glee style, ultra dry, sounded pretty tuned and the rock has no real sense, like it's playing to you from a cardboard box. It made it sound dinky and wrong."

The Glee juggernaut meanwhile seems no closer to stopping, with news recently breaking that they have now scored their 200th Billboard Hot 100 hit.

Murphy, who was speaking to Socialite Life at a preview screening of the second season at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood last night, revealed that fans can expect to see the Maroon 5 frontman in a different light.

He said: 'He’s a sexy guy, so he needs to play a sexy guy, but a guy that is different than who you think he would play.

“The second season is fun, sexy and baroque. It has a lot of meat to it. It’s a really gritty part. He's with a girl and they play characters called The Lovers."

Murphy, who is also responsible for the likes of Glee and Nip/Tuck, said the 'Moves Like Jagger' star didn’t take much persuading to take the role:

“I pitched him the part and he listened slack jawed and simply said, ‘I’m in.’”
