Eminem is 'going to further territories' with new album says producer

Rap superstar Eminem's close friend and collaborator Alchemist (pictured left and below) has opened up about the brand new album fans have been waiting for and promised that it will be worth sitting tight for.

During an interview with MTV News, Alchemist teased that it will be a step beyond what he usually brings out and explained that the 'Lose Yourself' hitmaker is in a different place from where he was with his past two albums, 'Recovery' and 'Relapse':

"Clearly going to further territories. I think what you would expect, especially after the last go-round. He was just getting his feet back on 'Relapse' and then 'Recovery' just came with the smash hits and everything and I think now - he's Eminem."

Alchemist added that he feels so lucky to accompany Eminem on tours: "It's just a blessing to even be even in that type of circle because I got my foot in the underground, then I go on tour with him. It's just staying humble and remembering I don't deserve these jet planes on my next trip to DJ.”

Eminem will return to the UK this summer for performances at Dublin's Slane Castle on August 17 and Glasgow's Bellahouston Park on August 20.

Ellie Goulding hopes to avoid arena tours

British songstress Ellie Goulding has admitted that she much prefers performing in small venues because arenas just don't have the same atmosphere and sense of intimacy.

During an interview with BBC's Newsbeat, the 'Starry Eyed' hitmaker revealed that although she has played gigs at arenas in the past she didn't like the feeling the space gave her so wants to continue doing shows in more low-key clubs:

"Is it weird that I don't like the idea of an arena tour? If I can just get away with doing lots of smaller venues… Like Brixton Academy is my dream."

I've always wanted to play Brixton Academy and now I am and it's mental. But I don't think I want to do arenas to be honest. I've played arenas supporting other artists but it's not really for me to be honest. They're just a bit boring and a bit rubbish. Sorry arena people."

Goulding is set to begin a small UK headlining tour next month on December 7 at the Bristol Academy and she will close the short run of dates on December 12 at London's Brixton Academy.
