B*Witched unveil new song

Reunited Irish girl group B*Witched have unveiled a new song.

Titled ‘Money and Love’, the song can be heard by the four piece as a part of their set on the Big Reunion Tour which kicked off on May 3. The tour also features other reformed pop acts including 5ive, Liberty X, Atomic Kitten, 911 and The Honeyz, as seen on the ITV2 series ‘The Big Reunion’.

Since appearing on the television show, B*Witched band member Lindsay Armaou had hinted at the possibility of the group recording new material together and hoped that the rest of the band would get a shot at singing lead parts, which were usually taken by Edele Lynch in their heyday.

Armaou said: "Our relationships with each other are all in a really good place again. We've been spending a lot of time together and it's good - it's really, really good. You can possibly expect new material from B*Witched. We are talking about going into the studio. Hopefully the vocals would be more equally shared this time."

B*Witched scored four consecutive UK number one singles during 1998 and 1999. Their final single, ‘Jump Down’, was released in 2000.

Cheryl Cole has admitted she is somewhat perplexed that people regard her as a fashionista.

The singer's clothing and style is often under scrutiny due to her position in the limelight, but it seems she gets her fashion choices pretty spot on.

Speaking to ITV's Daybreak, however, Cole said that whilst she appreciates that people like her style, at the end of the day, she just likes clothes. The singer said:

"It's crazy because I really don't think of myself as a style icon. I love the fact that people are inspired and look at me for inspiration."

The Geordie added: "But I just like clothes! I'm just like any other girl out there, I just love clothes and shoes and handbags and dressing up and experimenting. It's just part of what I love to do - and its also part of my job."

As previously reported, Cole said in the same interview that she feels better than ever as she approaches turning 30.

Cheryl Cole believes that hitting thirty is a positive milestone.

The singer will reach the age on June 30 as she enters the next stage in her life.

Speaking to ITV's Daybreak, the 'Call My Name' star actually said that becoming a 30-year-old is "empowering" rather than depressing. She said:

"I'm turning 30 in June, I was like I've had an incredible decade in this industry, with the highs and the lows; thirty is a very empowering age for me. I feel the best I've ever felt."

The Geordie meanwhile reflected on Girls Aloud's recent breakup following their 10th anniversary reunion tour. Cole said:

"I cherish the last tour because it was special, it was the end of an era.

Michelle Heaton, from Liberty X, has revealed that while she 'overreacted' after tripping on stage during a Big Reunion gig she was genuinely upset by the incident.

The episode of 'The Big Reunion' that aired last night (March 28) showed Heaton falling as she walked out onto the stage in front of an excited audience and later cried into the camera, saying: "It’s so f***ing typical, I can’t get a f***ing break."

"I fell on my f***ing arse. That's what everyone is going to remember from the gig – me falling. I knew I’d f***ing stack it. It’s f***ing typical that something happens to me."

Following the programme's screening, Heaton took to her official Twitter page and apologised for her bad language and also admitted that she may have taken the trip too seriously:

"God forgive me for swearing.. I don't usually talk like that.. I was just very upset and down ok myself .. Sorry mum Xxx. Looking back now I totally agree With u all.. I over reacted .. But at that point in time it felt like the whole world had seen me fall flat on my but!!"

"I had no motive in my reaction... Other than disappointment in myself. Sorry if I offended anyone with my Bad language... I was caught up in a moment.. But the delight of sharing the stage with those amazing artists outweighed that!"

5ive believe One Direction wouldn't be enjoying as much global success if it wasn't for social networking websites.

The 'Kiss You' stars are a worldwide phenomenon and they enjoy a huge amount of followers on Twitter.

Speaking to heat magazine, Scott Robinson of newly reunited 5ive stated his belief that platforms like Twitter makes it easier than it used to be for acts to promote themselves on a global level. The 90s star said:

"We didn't have social media back in the day, we didn't have Twitter, Facebook, web chats, nothing - we just turned up to places. Where as now you can be in a room straight away with just one tweet."

Bandmate Sean Conlon then asked: "Would One Direction be as big in America without Twitter that's the question?"

With Robinson replying to the negative, Conlon added:

"I'm not sure either. We had to be there didn't we? If we weren't there we weren't 'there'."

"I think The X Factor is our own jungle and I'm proud that I was able to survive that and came out on top... Not our own jungle, it's own animal, it's own beast."

As previously reported, the US star recently admitted that she felt she didn't get the "warmest" of receptions when she joined the UK X Factor last year.

Coupled with the British weather, it wasn't the best of times initially for Scherzinger.

However, she told Daybreak that she is like a "boomerang" when it comes to fighting back against adversity. The singer said:

"You cry and you scream and you stomp your feet and you shout. You say, 'You know what, I'm giving up, I don't care'. And then you go to bed and you wake up and it's a brand new day, and you pick yourself back up again."

She continued: "I was shooting the video [for 'Boomerang'] and I was like getting frustrated and then I was like, 'No, I'm a boomerang, you can throw me out and the harder I'll come back around'. I can take a hit but you can't scratch my name. I'm a boomerang."
