The 'Promise This' songstress took to her official Twitter page and wrote: "Dear @kimkardashian. Hi Gorgeous lady! Just wanted to send you a tweet to say I think you are an incredibly beautiful woman inside and out."

"I can only imagine how tough it is to be heavily pregnant and feeling extremely vulnerable on top of some of the daily criticism you take! I admire your tenacity and send you my best wishes with the rest of your pregnancy #enjoyyourblessing x"

Upon seeing the message, Kardashian (who is expecting her first baby with rapper Kanye West) replied and thanked her for the 'touching' words:

"@CherylCole your message really touched me! Thank you so much for the support & positivity! Its so important for women to feel confident & at peace during this amazing time! Your sweet tweet really made me smile! Xoxo"

Tweeting about the disappointing news this afternoon (May 16), the 'Broken Heels' hitmaker apologised for letting people down: "Hi, I'm afraid we're postponing the Royal Albert Hall shows until later in the year. Sorry for any disappointment. I'll tweet the statement."

Burke was supposed to play a run of dates at the venue's Elgar Room, where she was set to perform the soundtrack to 1972 Billie Holiday biopic 'Lady Sings The Blues', in which Diana Ross played the singer, but an official statement confirms that the dates are no longer going ahead:

"Due to an overwhelming demand for tickets, Alexandra Burke has decided to postpone her June 'Lady Sings The Blues' concerts and re-schedule the performances for later this year, at additional venues. Tickets for the six dates at the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room sold out within hours, with many fans disappointed, so these new dates, to be announced soon, will allow more fans to see and enjoy the shows."

Writing on the social networking site in the early hours of this morning (May 16), the 'Promise This' beauty encouraged her fans not to let stress get the better of them and to believe in themselves because all they can do is their best:

"So many of u [sic] stressing over your exams which is completely understandable but let me give you a little advice... No amount of worrying or losing sleep will change the outcome that I promise. All you can do is your best. If you're unsure ask someone who knows for help and make yourself sure."

She then joked that signing out of their networking sites might also be useful in helping them to concentrate fully: "Also, Reduce your use of twitter until it's done !!!! Lol! It works.. No distractions #goodluck."

While online, Cole also took the time to send a personal yet public message to Kim Kardashian (shown below), who has been the victim of many unflattering news articles and accompanying paparazzi photos during her pregnancy: "Dear @kimkardashian. The ceremony took place today (May 16) in London as the British music industry paid tribute to songwriting.

The Scottish singer won the PRS For Music Most Performed Work gong for her hit track 'Next To Me', with her co-manager Greg Castell picking up the award on her behalf.

The 'Our Version of Events' lady also won the Best Song Musically and Lyrically award for the same song.

Other winners on the day included Calvin Harris, who collected the Songwriter of the Year award, and Alt-J, who won the Album Award.

Speaking about his win, Harris said: "This is easily the greatest achievement of my entire life."

She came out on top with an impressive 54% of the vote although she also scored an 18% negativity rating. Country-pop hitmaker Taylor Swift also did well with results of 53% positive and 27% negative.

The stars that didn't do so well include Lady Gaga, who is currently recovering from hip surgery after suffering a labral tear on her Born This Way Ball tour earlier this year, Chris Brown and Justin Bieber.

Canadian sensation Bieber attractive 20% positive compared to 54% negative, 'Don't Wake Me Up' superstar Brown only received 13% positive votes alongside 57% negative, and 'Judas' beauty Gaga scored a little higher with 29% positive but also had 50% negative votes.

Meanwhile, a wax figure of Adele is due to be on display at Madame Tussauds in London from July and a photograph of the likeness was teased earlier this month.

She turned up to the hotel's famous Rose Bar on Thursday night last week and sang with Brian Newman, who shared a tweet with his fans to let them know the duet took place. Newman wrote:

"Thanks to the 1 & only @ladygaga for coming out to @GPHhotel tonight and singing a song!! @tommylondon @angiepontani @mrmartye @thedirtypearls."

This marks Gaga's first live performance since she axed the remaining dates on her Born This Way Ball tour after suffering a labral tear, for which she had surgery back in February. 

Spears announced she was leaving the coveted panel earlier this year, after much speculation surrounding her role on the show.

In January, the chart-topping songstress revealed: "I've made the very difficult decision not to return for another season. I had an incredible time doing the show and I love the other judges and I am so proud of my teams but it's time for me to get back in the studio."

She added: "Watching them all do their thing up on that stage every week made me miss performing so much! I can't wait to get back out there and do what I love most."

Lovato wants the pop princess to return.

She told US Weekly: ''I wish Britney would come back. My next pick is Lady GaGa though, she's so cool.''

Demi is the only remaining judge alongside Simon Cowell, as long-time panellist L.A. Reid announced his departure from the show at the end of last season. 

The Saturday Night Live comedy trio - who consist of Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, and Andy Samberg - will release their third record 'The Wack Album' on June 11.

The album will feature a host of big name collaborations including Gaga and Timberlake, who has worked with The Lonely Island before.

They will be joined by Pharrell Williams, Adam Levine and Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong.

Solange, Kendrick Lamar and T-Pain will also feature on 'The Wack Album'.

The Lonely Island's previous album release came in the shape of 2011's 'Turtleneck & Chain'.

The scent, which was unveiled last year and billed as the first ever black Eau de Parfum, was given the coveted Consumer's Choice title at the ceremony and Haus Laboratories tweeted a message to Little Monsters around the world to tell them the exciting news:

"#LADYGAGAFAME has won Consumer's Choice at this year's Canadian Fragrance Awards! We thank everyone for voting!"

Back in April, the perfume took home a trophy from the Swedish Beauty & Cosmetic Awards after it was named Best Female Fragrance. 'Fame' has also been nominated at this year's FIFI Awards, which will take place in London on May 16 and fans have been asked to vote for it in the Best New Celebrity Fragrance category.

During an interview with Svet, Ljubinković explained that Gaga chose a couple of garments from her Never Forever range with her new record, 'ARTPOP', in mind:

"Lady GaGa has expressed a desire to bring the pieces from my latest collection I have today sent to New York."

"It's about a dozen garments from the collection, 'Never Forever', which will carry the promotional activities related for her new album. I do not know yet whether it be for imagery, a video or something else."

The designer's Never Forever collection is incredibly whimsical and fun, with items ranging from conical hats with oversized floral embellishments to deer head pumps and pastel coloured print cutaway tops (pictured below).

The 'Judas' beauty suffered a labral tear while performing on the extensive run of dates and was subsequently forced to cancel the remaining concerts, but on April 27 the tour celebrated its birthday and she posted a message via both the social networking site and her LittleMonsters.com site along with an accompanying photo (shown left).

It simply read "#HappyBirthdayBTWB" and Gaga then shared a time-lapse video clip that shows the full construction of the elaborate stage set leading into a live performance and then it ends with fans trailing out of the arena. The video is set to the sounds of her 'Born This Way' album track, 'Scheiße'.

The 'Born This Way' singer is already the godmother to the singer's first child, Zachary, who was born in 2010.

In January, John and partner David Furnish became the parents of Elijah after he was born via surrogate.

It seems Gaga has made so much of an impression on the couple that they have asked her to be their new child's godmother too. Elton John told Extra:

"She's a great role model, she's young, [and] she's been a great godmother to Zachary. We're all bonkers in this business, but we're human beings at the same time."

The singer was briefly managed by the music mogul after the boyband split in 2001 following a number of arguments.

However, the partnership didn't last - something that clearly rankles the pop star. He is quoted by The Sun as saying:

"I was gutted...I would've been the male Lady Gaga with him."

He added: "I thought I was going to die at 25. I was all over the place, living in squats with junkies injecting drugs. I never took heroin, though."

Abz meanwhile has been enjoying a new lease of life on ITV series The Big Reunion, which sees 5ive trying to re-live their former glories.

The singer has a massive fanbase and she regularly uses her position to promote psychological wellbeing amongst youths.

She lost out, however, to Burmese freedom fighter Aung San Suu Kyi in TIME's list of the top influencers in the world over the last decade.

The poll was decided in a face-off style competition, with the likes of US President Barack Obama and Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling also performing strongly.

Lists haven't always been good to Gaga lately, however, with the 'Born This Way' star recently named as the worst dressed female.
