"Read some articles saying I'm mad over this whole sleep thing aha I'm not mad at anyone how could I be? I'm just grouchy in the morning ahaa."

They will then tour in North America until mid-August before heading to Australasia.

The veteran singer was due to perform at London's O2 Arena tonight (June 6) but it has been postponed because he is suffering from a bronchial virus.

The show has been moved to July 11 at the same venue, with original tickets valid.

His next date at the Manchester Arena on Saturday (June 8) is still scheduled to go ahead as planned.

Speaking about the postponement on Twitter, Stewart said diplomatically:

"Hate letting down all going to the O2 tomorrow, but happily been able to reschedule for July 11th. Wish me well as I do you."
