Writing on the social networking site today, the singers explained that the original release date of May 6 has now been cancelled and, instead, it will drop in 24 hours on April 17:

"We've CHANGED the #HowYaDoin release date! You'll be able to download the @MissyElliott version TOMORROW! Mixers HQ x"

The band have urged their followers to purchase a copy of the version that features Missy Elliott as opposed to the one that's included on their album, 'DNA', and shared a soundcloud clip of Jade Thirlwall talking about the impending release: "We're very excited. We can't wait for everybody to download it."

While there is no official confirmation on the potentially exciting news, the singers opened up about the idea of having their track performed by the show's talented cast to Capital FM and described it as a dream come true:

"You know you've made it when you're on Glee! I love Glee," Perrie Edwards said. "I'm excited to see what they're going to do with it and how it's going to be done, what scene it is, who's going to sing what!"

The Little Mix beauties also revealed that they heard former 'American Idol' finalist Jessica Sanchez (pictured below) will be tackling the song as part of her debut as rival glee club leader, Frida Romero.

The season finale of 'Glee', which 'Wings' is said to feature on, will air in America on May 9 and Little Mix's album, 'DNA', is set to be released in the USA on May 28.

Nelson had dyed her hair a deep shade of red due to the recent unveiling of Little Mix as brand ambassadors for hair care company Schwarzkopf. As part of the deal, each of the group’s four members underwent a Schwarzkopf-style makeover.

However, despite this collaboration, Nelson appeared as her usual brunette self on Friday as she helped launch her band’s new nail products.

The 21 year old singer explained her reasons for ditching the red head style:

“I’m back to brown now. I loved the colour but it was just too hard to keep up and maintain.”

Nelson’s fellow band mate Leigh Anne Pinnock has also forsaken her Schwarzkopf inspired hair colour, which had involved blue tinted hair dye:

“I went for a blue black colour but I’ve let it wash out now - I’ve had dark hair for so long so I would love to change it but my hairstyle changes all the time so I can never decide. 

"I’d never bleach my hair like Perrie or Jade but I’ve always wanted to go blonde so maybe I can get a cool wig!”

The X Factor girl group have recently returned from a U.S tour and as well as launching their fresh nail range have been back in the studio to commence recording a new album.

The ladies collaborated with the 'Get Ur Freak On' hitmaker recently, but explained to Britain's Daily Star newspaper that it was a "virtual hook-up" so they are yet to have an actual face-to-face encounter:

"It's a shame we haven't got to meet her yet. Missy was in Los Angeles so we had to do a virtual hook-up. But just to be able to do a track with her was amazing!"

'How Ya Doin'?' acts as Little Mix's fourth official single from their album and they released the video for it last week. The singers also shared a link to pre-order the cut from iTunes and the expected release date is listed as May 5, 2013.

As previously reported, the girl group recently unveiled the promo clip for their new single 'How Ya Doin'?', which features a cameo from Missy Elliott.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday (April 9), Malik praised the group's video, which features girlfriend Perrie Edwards. He said:

"Gotta watch the new @LittleMixOffic video !! It's sick and missy Elliot's bars are hard ! Haha x :)."

Not forgetting his lady, however, the One Direction star then added: "Oh and p.s. perrie is quite fit too ;)."

The singer has been dating the One Direction star for a number of months and it seems their connection is still going strong.

Speaking to Twist magazine, Edwards revealed that she can't bear to be away from Malik for long periods of time - something which touring obviously doesn't help. She said:

"Zayn is so lovely. You know things are good when you can't wait to see the other person. It's a sense of friendship. The main thing I looked for is if he's fun to be around, if I can have a laugh with him. When it's more of a friendship, it can blossom."

Malik meanwhile has been the subject of cheating rumours this year - but Edwards added that they don't pay much attention to tabloid gossip. She said:

"I try not to let what I read in the paper get to me. But I still read things and I think 'That didn't happen'. We laugh about things and refuse to let it get to us."
