If the Freedom of Speech is taken away then dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep to the slaughter ~ George Washington.

A combination of thumping drums and all so conscious lyrics by Sullee J equals Free World. Free World is the hip hop anthem for freedom of speech in the 21st Century where fear is rife and deception is at large.

Free World is produced by budding producer ‘’ Lewis Cullen’’ and will be on the upcoming mixtape ‘’ Vicegerent’’ hosted by DJ Twin [affiliated to Sean Kingston and more].
The Poor Relations Release Debut Single Bexhill Blues

IT’S a long way from Sussex to the Mississippi Delta but one local musician is bridging the gap and belting out his own Bexhill Blues.

Bill Fellows is an experienced actor who’s appeared in a stream of the best of British televison including Downton Abbey, Broadchurch, Hebburn and Wolfblood.

But he’s also been strumming a guitar all these years and ready to go public with his music including first song Bexhill Blues, an affectionate nod to the town he’s made his home.

It is a limited edition available at Music’s Not Dead in Devonshire Road in advance of an upcoming EP with The Poor Relations which will be released on June 10 for download. Called The Tyranny Of Cool the EP is a collection of his own heartfelt tough but tender songs through Coldstone Records which was co-founded by Dylan Barnes, and mixed by Dennis Dicker.

The Bexhill Blues is a first step into moving outward with music instead of playing for himself as he has since a teenager just starting out and at drama school. Originally from Middlesbrough, Bill’s life since has been one of constant work and he knows he’s been lucky to flourish in a notoriously difficult profession.

He is this week rehearsing in London for a premier of Pastoral at the Soho Theatre with Anna Calder-Marshall which he describes as a sci-fi horror and which opens in mid-May. He has also been filming King Of Sands on location in Lebanon.

“I do seem to work a lot,” he said. “But I am aware that could stop at any point. I have so many talented friends who spend years out of work. I think that is going to happen to me - maybe next year. But I’ve also got my music which I have been doing privately for 20 odd years, never played with anyone. I did think - what’s the point, but why not make a debut at the age of 56?” Working on his songs he also found encouragement locally from musician and producer Jeff Topp as well as Music’s Not Dead. He writes songs “all the time”, drawing lyrics from many sources including overheard conversations or throwaway comments. Bill said: “I’ve been an actor since I was 23 and of all of a sudden going with this new venture. It’s quite a daunting prospect because you’re open to all criticism as an actor so this is as well is a double whammy. But my son is 14, and he likes a couple of tracks, so that means something.”now

Bexhill Blues is avaiable to buy now from itunes and other digital stores worldwide.

"When it gets rough and the rain starts pouring, I turn up the heat coz the drama aint important".

She added: "Roll the dice double two no more us no me and you. What a struggle, I took a risk, another life another kiss".

After posting the lyrics, the Voice UK coach added that she is enjoying the "mystery" of her new campaign. The singer said:

Rick Ross issues official apology for suggesting rape in lyrics

The track 'U.O.E.N.O.', which features a verse from rapper Rick Ross, has come under fire recently because the lyrics included by Ross appear to suggest rape.

He raps, "put molly all in her champagne/ She ain't even know it / I took her home and I enjoyed that/ She ain't even know it," and while he tried to clear the air by telling fans the verse was misunderstood he has since been dropped from his ambassador position by Reebok and has now been forced to issue a formal apology.

The statement reads: "For me to suggest in any way that harm and violation be brought to a woman is one of my biggest mistakes and regrets. As an artist, one of the most liberating things is being able to paint pictures with my words. But with that comes a great responsibility."

"And most recently, my choice of words was not only offensive, it does not reflect my true heart. And for this, I apologize. To every woman that has felt the sting of abuse, I apologize."

He went on to add: "To the young men who listen to my music, please know that using a substance to rob a woman of her right to make a choice is not only a crime, it's wrong and I do not encourage it. To my fans, I also apologize if I have disappointed you. I can only hope that this sparks a healthy dialogue and that I can contribute to it."

Rick Ross dropped by Reebok over questionable song lyrics

Rap superstar Rick Ross recently spoke out in defense of his song 'U.O.E.N.O.' after he was slammed for supposedly promoting rape with the lyrics, but his role as ambassador for sports brand Reebok has now been revoked as a result of the track.

In the offering, Ross rhymes about slipping ecstasy into a girl's drink and can be heard saying "Put Molly all in the champagne. She ain't even know it. I took her home and I enjoy that. She ain't even know it."

While he tried to defend the lyrics, explaining that "it was misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term 'rape' wasn't used", a spokesperson from Reebok confirmed to TMZ that he has been dropped because of the controversy, which included people protesting the song:

"Reebok holds our partners to a high standard, and we expect them to live up to the values of our brand. Unfortunately, Rick Ross has failed to do so. While we do not believe that Rick Ross condones sexual assault, we are very disappointed he has yet to display an understanding of the seriousness of this issue or an appropriate level of remorse."

Demi Lovato suffered an embarrassing moment of lapsed concentration on live national TV as she messed up lyrics.

The talented singer was performing her latest single 'Heart Attack' on Good Morning America on Wednesday (April 10) when the slip happened.

It was all going well until the X Factor USA judge began to sing the song's second verse instead of the first.

However, she managed to maintain her composure and revert back to the correct lyrics half way through the verse, before repeating the second.

Like a true pro, Lovato managed to get through the blip with a knowing smile before finishing the track with aplomb.

'Heart Attack' is the lead single from the singer's forthcoming new album 'DEMI', which is released on May 14.

Rap superstar Rick Ross has hit out at claims that some of his lyrics appear to promote rape and explained that he 'would never' support that behaviour.

His track 'U.O.E.N.O.' features the lines, "Put molly all in her champagne, she ain't even know it / I took her home and I enjoyed that, she ain't even know it", and it came under fire for such suggestive content, but Ross has now confessed that it's a bad misunderstanding:

"It was misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term 'rape' wasn't used. And I would never use the term 'rape' in my records."

Ross added that he wanted to "reach out to all the queens that's on my timeline, all the sexy ladies, the beautiful ladies that had been reaching out to me with the misunderstanding, we don't condone raping – I'm not with that."

Referring to the public backlash over the song's lyrics, the star confessed that as an artist you have to be socially responsible so he doesn't mind clarifying the meaning: "I feel like us being artists, that's our job to clarify the sensitive things and the things that we know really need to be clarified, such as a situation like this."

Pop sensation Ke$ha has revealed that her song 'Gold Trans Am' was originally meant to be about her car, but turned into a track about her lady parts, which she co-wrote with her mother.

Speaking to Q magazine about the song, which features on the deluxe version of her album 'Warrior', she explained that it started out as an innocent hit, but soon turned into a metaphor about her vagina: "It began as a song about my car, which is a gold Trans Am, and it works about 40 per cent of the time."

"I don't have another car because I love that one so much. But then like all great pop it became a metaphor for something else - my p***y." Ke$ha added: "My vagina is in tip top working order. Valeted and souped-up and working 100 per cent of the time."

Referring to the fact that she penned it with her mother, she quipped: "That may not be normal to the average psychiatrist out there but I think it's pretty cool…don't analyse. That's the problem with so much culture out there. People are so trapped into trying to do the right thing. As long as you are not hurting anyone I think you should feel free to indulge your fantasies."

Adele has admitted that her heartbreak songs could be about to come to an end.

The singer gave birth to her first child last year with partner Simon Konecki and it seems her happiness could put a stop on her famed love songs.

Albums like '21' are known for their heartbreak themes, but speaking to Parade after her recent Golden Globe win, Adele said:

"I feel a little bit kind of overexcited. It's my first night out since I had my child. And my inspiration normally comes from heartbreak, but I don't think I am going to have to get devastated again, so that's good."

The superstar singer added that her Best Original Song prize for the track 'Skyfall' was "incredible", but odd. She said:

"It's absolutely amazing and quite a thrill and quite hilarious because it is not my field. Although it is mind-boggling to win Grammys, but many amazing actors have these awards so it is very weird, but incredible."

'Skyfall' meanwhile is also up for Best Original Song at this year's Oscars, which are due to take place on February 24.
