The 'Trespassing' hitmaker walked the 'Z' shape red carpet in Manhattan's Times Square yesterday and shared a picture of himself at the event, which he accompanied by an incredibly brief review: "At the WORLD WAR Z premier last night. Film was A+ Was on the edge of my seat!"

'World War Z' is an apocalyptic horror film that stars Brad Pitt and centres on a zombie pandemic that spirals out of control and threatens to wipe out humanity. It will be released in the UK on Friday, June 21. 

Meanwhile, Queen's Brian May recently confirmed that he and Lambert have plans to work together again although he remained tight-lipped on the details of the project. 

Bristling with distorted guitars and fiery attitude, 'Shameless' is a smouldering commentary on the culture of modern celebrity, introspectively examining what it takes to achieve fame and success in current times. Building towards its rousing climax, Lissie's raw vocals and gritty, heartfelt delivery make for a compelling and blistering return.

“We live in a society where terrible behaviour is rewarded with coverage and attention, where celebrity is seen as a talent in itself. I understand the allure of image and of a good story but i sometimes feel like it trumps the content. When i wrote Shameless i'd just been feeling so over how much bullshit style over substance there is to "making" it in this business” said Lissie. 

Last month Lissie headed to Austin to perform a set of shows at SXSW Festival, and it has recently been announced that Lissie will perform at Secret Garden Party and Bestival this Summer. More announcements on tour dates, festivals and album details to follow soon.

"We always say four years from now we'd like to do Madison Square Garden, that is the big goal".

Madison Garden is the legendary venue in New York's Manhattan with a concert capacity of 20,000.

The band would love to become big stars in America and have been 'overwhelmed' by the welcome they've received from the US fans so far.

Perrie Edwards said that they weren't expecting so much support whilst in the States.

The band are really excited to show their US fans 'the real us', their 'crazy side', how they are 'like sisters', and 'that they are genuinely best friends."

The girls can't wait to meet Missy Elliot to thank her for their recent collaboration. Having seen the final edit of the video recently they are really excited but have yet to meet the rapper.

They would also love to collaborate with Boyz II Men or Diana Ross, and "felt like Mariah Carey in Glitter" when they heard 'Wings' on the US radio.

When asked about their favourite fashion trends for Spring, the band admitted, that they don't really keep up with fashion but just "wear what we want to wear".

A video has surfaced of the lads performing an entertaining rendition of Elton John and Kiki Dee's 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart', but also joining them on the night was singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran who had performed with the lads earlier at the venue.

Taylor Swift, who has been photographed both in the U.S. and UK with heartthrob Harry Styles over the past few weeks, can also be seen dancing with the group in the clip.

Earlier this week, a picture emerged of Styles lifting Swift into the air in a 'Dirty Dancing' recreation, which was shortly followed by a brief video of the pair watching bands backstage together and enjoying a quick kiss at the Z-100 Jingle Ball.

The pair - who have been spotted together hand-in-hand over the past couple of weeks - performed the impromptu scene at the after-party to celebrate One Direction's Madison Square Garden performance at the Z100's Jingle Ball.

Styles and Swift were joined by Ed Sheeran, and the seemingly loved-up pair were also spotted indulging in a spot of karaoke at the celebratory festivities.  

There's also footage from earlier in the night of Styles and Swift enjoying the concert together in the wings, where Swift plants a kiss on the One Direction heartthrob.

The rumoured couple stayed in New York City for three nights after One Direction's performance then took Swift's private jet to the UK ahead of the British Band's gig at the annual Capital FM Jingle Bell Ball at the weekend. 

The singer-songwriter is joining forces with remaining band members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic to perform a new song at the 12.12.12 Hurricane Sandy benefit concert at Madison Square Garden.

This will be the first time Grohl and Novoselic have graced the stage together in 20 years following the suicide of Kurt Cobain in 1994, and McCartney is excited about the historic event.

The star said he rang Grohl, who asked him to come along to “jam with some mates" in the studio before the collaboration came about.

He told The Sun: “I didn’t really know who they were. They are saying how good it is to be back together. I said ‘Whoa? You guys haven’t played together for all that time?

He added: “And somebody whispered to me ‘That’s Nirvana. You’re Kurt.’ I couldn’t believe it.”

The pair were snapped together enjoying downtime around Manhattan and were also seen emerging from the same hotel, although have neither confirmed or denied if they're actually dating or just friends.

'Little Things' singer Louis Tomlinson was asked about the nature of Swift and Styles' relationship by People magazine and while he was cautious to protect their privacy, he did admit that she's a great girl: "I'm happy they're good friends."

Liam Payne also weighed in on the highly-publicised situation and added that she is a "really lovely girl".

Meanwhile, Swift took to her official Twitter page this morning (December 10) and told her fans that the premiere for her new music video is fast approaching: "Guys. @MTV is going premiere the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' video on MTV First: Taylor Swift on December 13 at 4:40 pm ET. I am excited."

The lads have shifted over 800,000 copies of their new offering, entitled 'Take Me Home', in the States after just three weeks and they are well on their way to hitting the million mark.

It sold another 92,000 copies in the past 7 days alone and the heartthrobs achieved yet another career milestone on December 3 when they performed to a sold-out crowd at New York's famous Madison Square Garden.

Meanwhile, 'Take Me Home' charted at No.3 in the UK during Wednesday's (December 5) midweek update and is expected to remain in the Top 5 as the positions are confirmed this coming Sunday.

To commemorate their Madison Square Garden show, member Zayn Malik got a celebratory tattoo as a reminder of the fantastic moment.

The 'Little Things' singers recently performed a concert at Manhattan's legendary Madison Square Garden venue and to celebrate the milestone, member Zayn Malik got a tattoo tribute to the night that incorporates the date of the show along with the location (shown below).

Louis Tomlinson also got a new design from artist John Bahel at their Trump International suite in New York City.

Tweeting about their Madison Square Garden performance, heartthrob Niall Horan described the event as career-defining and wrote:

"Wow, madison square garden,thank you soo much! It was the best night of our lives! Thank you thank you thank you ! #1DinMSG"

The global stars were pieced together from solo contestants on the UK X Factor in 2010 and have gone on to achieve worldwide fame since.

Speaking to Yahoo, Clarkson - who won American Idol in 2002 - said that acts coming from talent shows need the singing ability to last in the industry. She said:

"It's funny when people ask 'why do you have longevity when coming from a signing show and other people don't?'. I just think it depends on the artist. I just think the definition of being successful is just that you've got to have the talent to back it up. I think they [One Direction] are all very talented."

Clarkson, who wrote the song 'Tell Me A Lie' for One Direction's 2011 debut 'Up All Night', added that she was initially wary about giving them her song - but after she saw them singing on YouTube, it was a no-brainer. The US star said:

"Before nobody in America knew who One Direction was because they were on X Factor over here [the UK]. I remember getting a call from my publisher and her being like, 'hey there's this group and they were kind of put together by Simon [Cowell] and they're called One Direction and they're kind of into one of your songs,' and I was like, 'Hmm, I wanna hear them'."

Clarkson continued: "Because those are your babies what you write and I Youtubed them and found all these videos of them actually singing live and they're very talented, that's the key thing. That's what I was excited about so was like 'yeah cool, take the song', so they put it on their record and then they started blowing up in America."

Strong rumours surrounding the pair have circulated since the weekend after they were snapped enjoying time together at New York's Central Park.

Swift was then seen attending One Direction's Madison Square Garden aftershow party on Monday (December 3) before she was photographed seemingly holding Styles' hands on the way to her hotel in the early hours of the morning.

Sheeran, who performed a 'Little Things' cameo with One Direction at Monday's gig, has close links with both artists and was asked about the pair's reported romance whilst on US TV.

However, he merely replied: "That's what the papers are saying".

He then smiled suggestively and nodded for a few seconds before host Katie Couric moved onto another subject.

The star is in the US with his band and it seems he took some time off prior to Monday's (December 3) Madison Square Garden gig to visit the iconic Empire State Building.

However, he took to Twitter soon after to publicly lament the building's "arrogant" security staff, tweeting: "Just been to the Empire State Building had a great time except...The security detail in particular the senior security supervisor was arrogant, unproffesional and extreamly disrespectful to my family @EmpireStateBldg #TheresAlwaysTimeForManors."

Payne has today (December 5) rescinded the criticism, calling it all a "mix up". He said:

"Seems there was a bit of a mix up when I was at the empire state. Its all good. Sorry for confusion looking fwd to next timeeeee!"

A tweet sent by the Empire State Building's Twitter account in response to Payne's original rant, however, suggests the singer was in the wrong. It said:

"Bad behaviour not accepted at ESB. No, our security does not know who you are, and does not care."

One Direction meanwhile are due to appear on the X Factor UK final this weekend (December 8/9).
