Over her career, Jackson boasts 27 top ten hits and has sold over 100 million albums worldwide. She also successfully forayed into acting with films such as ‘Why Did I Get Married’ and ‘The Nutty Professor’. Her touring income also makes up a large part of her net worth.

Variety Magazine reports that Jackson has amassed $458 million from touring, $260 million from her albums, $81 million from sponsorship deals and her acting roles have given her $304 million.

Along with such celebrities as Oprah and J.K. Rowling, Jackson joins her husband Wissam Al Man in the elite billionaire’s club.

Time for a laugh at Beverley Festival

It’s not that Beverley Festival shouldn’t be taken seriously, but there again we should all learn to let our hair down at some stage – so this year the festival has made sure it has only the best for its Comedy Nights in June.

Kicking off on the Friday (21at June) night is the brilliant and loveable stand up comedian that likes to hug and eat cake, Patrick Monahan. “There isn’t a comic quite like him and his hugs alone are worth the price of admission”. ***** New Current, 2012.

Having been brought up in Middlesbrough by his Iranian Mother and Irish Dad he has many hilarious and engaging stories about his heritage. “He has the dark looks and stubble of the Middle East, married to the charm of the Irish and the sense of fun of the Teessider… Omid Djalili meets Dave Allen you might say.” Daily Mail

Since he started performing stand-up he has had a meteoric rise up the comedy ladder and has gone from ‘open spot’ to headliner in an incredibly short length of time. Now a regular MC and headlining act at the top London and UK comedy clubs including the prestigious Jongleurs circuit and the Comedy Store, he is certainly going to receive a big welcome at the festival. Following on the Saturday, and back by popular demand, is that wackiest of characters, John Shuttleworth.  Quoted as being "A National Institution...the 42nd Best Reason to Love Britain"  Sunday Telegraph Shuttleworth will be bring in his own special brand of comedy to the festival. The Sony and Perrier nominated Shuttleworth will be venturing beyond his garden gate to tread the mean streets of Beverley and wander up to take a stroll around Beverley’s Racecourse. Which is better: city life or country living? Supermarket or village shop? Or is it better to sit in your shed and count the cobwebs? Those are some of the questions the star of Radio 4's ‘The Shuttleworths’, and TV’s ‘500 Bus Stops’ will be asking the audience on Saturday 22 June.  “His stand up is second to none, his timing is impeccable, and you can practically warm your hands on his good nature “ The Guardian Guide. "Wonderful, wacky, and weird" Radio Times.

Not only will Mr Shuttleworth be appearing live at the festival, but he will also be appearing twice in his film “Southern Softees” on the Saturday of his performance.

To round off a weekend of humour, the festival is proud to include in its programme a cabaret version of its Patron, John Godber’s award winning film play “Bouncers” in which we welcome you to a vision of British Urban Nightlife’. Lucky Eric and the rest of the Bouncers will arrive at the festival on Sunday 23rd  for audiences to spend a night with Baz and the lads, Plain Elaine and, if they are Lucky, Sexy Suzy, along with a host of other characters.  Follow them on their Friday night out , from the hairdressers to the drunken taxi ride home, all under the watchful eyes of the four men in black. The 'Come & Get It' beauty has been single for a little while now and explained to Miami's Y100 radio station that tying the knot at 20 is something she no longer has any interest in:

"Oh my god no ... I'm not even 21 yet ... I'm sure I was that little girl that wanted to be married at 20, but no that's definitely not anything I want on my radar. I have so much to have fun with and experience."

Both Gomez and Bieber were at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards last night (May 19) and while they embraced backstage, hitmaker Taylor Swift could be seen walking past and grimacing at their hug and cheek kiss.

The 30-year-old star wed TV presenter Erin McNaught in her home country and revealed his pre-wedding plans ahead of the big day.

Taking to Twitter he wrote: ''It's 7.30am. Just going for a little 6 mile jog. Ceremony starts in 6 hours. Not sure if this is normal protocol for your wedding day... ? (sic)''

Blonde bombshell Perrie Edwards, who has been dating One Direction's Zayn Malik for some time now, explained to OK! magazine that while they have no immediate plans to get engaged she would love to marry him "one day", adding "I think we'd all like that."

Timberlake, meanwhile, was today (April 24) confirmed as the host of the forthcoming 2013 Capital FM Summertime Ball, which will take place on June 9 at London's Wembley Stadium.

During an interview with People magazine, the 'Pom Poms' hitmaker explained that he shares his thoughts with her even at 4am when she's in bed asleep:

"I play the music for her constantly when we're writing the album and especially at midnight when we're in that mindframe and it doesn't just end in the studio."

"I'm bringing it home and I'm like, taking her out of bed at 4am to come listen to a song and I get so excited about it and I want to share that with her."

Kevin, who stars with his wife on the show 'Married to Jonas', added that he uses his relationship with her for inspiration and always thinks about her when writing lyrics:

The 'Angels' hitmaker is only 39-years-old, but explained that his heart is still in Stoke-On-Trent although he is married to an American woman so is confused about where he should end up:

"The thing about Stoke, my heart seems to be there. I have an interesting dilemma. If we stay in Los Angeles and this is our home for the rest of time, I’m not going to want to be buried at Stoke-on-Trent. When I am back in Stoke, my favourite place to visit is my grandma’s grave at Tunstall Cemetery. I have always thought that is where I would end up, at the cemetery."

“But because I now have an American bird as my wife, and I plan to be with her for the rest of time. Ayda’s grandma is in a cemetery over here, in a cemetery just down the road from our house. Her grave is constantly in the sun. It’s a nice place to end up."

During his recent Radio Rudebox podcast he also confessed that he isn't afraid of death, adding: "I don’t feel sad about it for some reason, it’s an inevitability. I may take cremation on board. I always thought I was going to be buried."

Writing on her official Twitter page this afternoon (March 22), Clarkson told her fans: "I'm so excited people are digging my new single! It's my favorite song I've ever recorded .... Ever! #PeopleLikeUs."

The song originally appeared on her 'Greatest Hits: Chapter 1' collection last year, but it will now be released as a single and is due to start getting radio airplay from April 8. She co-wrote the song with Greg Kurstin, who has previously worked with 'Closer' stars Tegan & Sara and P!nk, and he also worked with Clarkson on her chart-topper 'Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)'.

Meanwhile, the superstar is planning her wedding to fiancé Brandon Blackstock and recently told People magazine that trying on wedding dresses has been particularly stressful: I was in the changing room, and I looked at my armpits, and I was like, 'Are you kidding me? I look like a cave woman!' And then I took my pants off, and I was like, 'Oh my god, my legs match!' My nails looked like a hot mess; my eyebrows looked like bushes. I was so not a girl."

"I started tearing up because I'm like, 'This is not me. I'm usually not this gross. I'm just so busy!' And then on top of that, my friend got incredibly ill, like in the movie Bridesmaids. She's like, 'We are totally not going to get asked back here.'"

Writing on the social networking site this afternoon (March 6) she explained that she's had enough of Los Angeles and the lies that seem to come with living there:

"I am so sick of La. And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding. Taking a break from social media. #draining."

She returned to Twitter just one hour later and added that the only thing she wants to talk about from now on is the new music she's been working on lately: "My new music is gonna shut everyone up - not discussing anything but my music from now on."

Speaking exclusively to ET News, the hitmaker explained that she got married last year to Wissam Al Mana and together they decided not to inform the press about it.

The couple also released a joint statement that confirmed the rumours that suggested she was planning an extravagant wedding were "simply not true" and they have already tied the knot:

Speaking to People magazine about his exciting new engagement, the 'I Want It That Way' superstar explained that he was incredibly nervous and struggled to build up the courage needed to pop the question:

"I had the ring in my pocket for two weeks. I was like, 'I don't want it anymore!' It was driving me insane. I just wanted to get it out of my hands and on to hers."

The 33-year-old Backstreet Boys member took 29-year-old Kitt, who is a fitness expert and aspiring actress, to Florida and they travelled by boat to an island although it wasn't initially smooth sailing:
