The star already has 4 of his own clothing lines, namely Billionaire Boys Club, Billionaire Girls Club, Bee Line, ICECREAM, and will now join as a mentor on the show, which features 12 contestants who will take on challenges over 10 weeks for the chance to win the opportunity to design outfits for celebrities.

Salaam Coleman Smith, president of Style Media, spoke about the addition to the panel in an official statement: "We are delighted to have Pharrell, who is a driving force in both the music industry and fashion world, serve as a mentor on Styled To Rock."

"Pharrell's unique aesthetic and commitment to individuality combined with Rihanna's vision for this series will enable our aspiring designers to hone their craft and learn from the very people who set the trends."

Meanwhile, Rihanna's summer collection for River Island will hit stores next week (May 15) and she explained that it was inspired by the style of her own team: "I made a piece for everybody in my crew, we all have different body types and different tastes - some are braver than others. I think like that because that's how women in the world are. We're all different, we like different things, we have different occasions and different moods."

The US singer said that unheard vocals from the late R&B icon will feature on the track 'They Don't Know'.

Aaliyah died in 2001 aged just 22 after a being involved in a plane crash in the Bahamas.

Brown confirmed the news at a press conference to promote upcoming album 'X', which will be released on July 16.

Other music stars due to feature on the album include Nicki Minaj, Pharrell Williams, Timbaland and Kendrick Lamar.

Speaking about the video for 'They Don't Know', Brown said: "I shot it in the hood. I went to 60th Street and Cedar Block. [I'm] bringing both worlds together and trying to uplift the poverty side of the community and show them where I'm from. I'm from Virginia, but everybody comes from a broken home or being broke - I remember when I was."

As previously reported, the 'Take The Crown' star took aim at the BBC Radio 1 DJ at an awards ceremony recently after his show seemingly dodged playing his new music last year.

However, it seems there's no bad blood between the pair, with The Sun quoting Grimshaw as saying that he's still a fan of the singer. He said:

"I think he was so funny. I love him and he's really cool. He should have his own radio show. I'd have him on every morning."

The DJ added: "It's all nonsense – my show played 'Candy' twice."

The French duo are releasing 'Random Access Memories' in the UK on Monday (May 20) but it can be heard now on iTunes.

The highly-anticipated record is their fourth studio album, following on from 2005's 'Human After All'.

It features No.1 single 'Get Lucky', which includes cameos from Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers.

As previously reported, Daft Punk recently admitted in an interview that they don't understand the hype behind their new record. Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo said:

"Right now my brain is shutting everything down, making me pretend that everything is normal. It still amazes me that everyone is so crazy about what we are doing. I'm like, either I am crazy or everybody's crazy. Maybe I am just dreaming but people seem to really freak out at what we are doing. I don't know why!"

Speaking to Fox News Rising, she confessed that the show, entitled 'My Sister's Keeper', is very personal to her but she wanted to do it as she knew it would make her closer to her family:

"I can't believe I am doing this. It's titled My Sister's Keeper. It's just (about my) life, about myself and my two sisters as we try to figure things out."

"We are getting to know each other. You know, I left home when my baby sister was eight, so I kind of missed a lot of her growing up. They just expressed to me, 'We just miss you.'"

She added: "So it'll be a great way to just kind of show that dynamic... I'm ready for people to get to know me."

The R&B group - who also feature Beyoncé and Kelly Rowland - turned heads recently by confirming the release of new song 'Nuclear'.

They also performed live at the NFL Super Bowl event in New Orleans on Sunday (February 3) as they turned back the clocks.

Speaking to Billboard, Williams said that she had a "blast" working again with her bandmates on stage. She said:

"When three good girlfriends are together, you're free and you don't care who's around; you're just trying to catch up and be goofy. I had a blast. People at home watching...they don't catch the moments where, like in the 'Charlie's Angels' pose, I was smiling. We were all smiling. I was laughing with my girls. I don't care what anybody else says. I don't let it get me down. It was a beautiful thing."

Speaking about the chances of performing again, Williams added: "It's a possibility. I think this was a good moment, and it felt good for all of us and you definitely want those moments again."

The singer uploaded a handwritten note on her website praising her Destiny's Child bandmates and the event's other performers - Alicia Keys and Jennifer Hudson - after the massive ceremony last night (January 3) in New Orleans.

The simple but powerful letter called performing again with Destiny's Child an "honour" and acknowledged the role of African American women in the ceremony. She said:

"What a proud day for African American women!!!! Kelly, Michelle, Alicia, Jhud, you are all beautiful talented and showed so much class! It was an honour to perform at the Super Bowl with you phenomenal ladies, love Beyoncé."

Beyoncé powered through a set of solo material at the show, which was watched by millions around the world, before reuniting with Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

As previously reported, Beyoncé has announced a number of worldwide tour dates due to take place later this year, with six shows planned for the UK.

She treated sports fans and viewers at home alike to a medley of her greatest hits before bringing out Destiny's Child bandmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, to join her for a few songs.

Dressed in a revealing and figure-hugging leather bodysuit, Beyoncé launched into a powerful version of 'Love On Top', then sang her way through 'Crazy In Love', 'End Of Time' and 'Baby Boy'.

She then called on her girls who shot up from underground platforms to join her in performing their tracks 'Bootylicious', 'Independent Women' and, finally, 'Single Ladies'.

The superstar then brought the iconic half-time show to a close by telling the crowd, "I wanna feel your energy," and she ended with a striking rendition of her well-loved ballad, 'Halo'.

The picture has since been removed from the popular site, but not before the name of the alleged tour was revealed, reports The Mirror.

The image shows Beyoncé dressed in regal attire - while the name 'The Mrs Carter Show - World Tour' is emblazoned next to the star.

The international singer's tour has not yet been officially announced, however Beyoncé  teased during a press conference for her Super Bowl Half Time performance, that she will be unveiling her future plans soon.

She smiled: "I may have an announcement after the performance - fans should just stay tuned to see."

Beyoncé's hotly-anticipated Super Bowl XLVII performance will take place tonight (February 3) in New Orleans.

Meanwhile, the singer's superstar band Destiny's Child - also comprising Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland - are largely rumoured to be making their live comeback during the show.

Despite Williams denying the claims, NFL cheerleader Courtney Labat has allegedly confirmed the speculation after being asked about her rehearsals with the group.

She told Hollywoodlife: “Yeah, they’ve been awesome. We were actually able to see the show yesterday."

The international superstar will perform live at the coveted event at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans on February 3.

Much speculation has surrounded the performance since Beyoncé's involvement was announced, and now the singer has shared a series of backstage snaps.

Posting the rehearsal photos on her Instagram page on Saturday, the star gave fans a taste of what's to come during the performance.  

In one image, the songstress is seen posing with her arms behind her head in a Brooklyn Nets white T-shirt while a black-and-white shot shows Beyoncé caught in action as her long wavy hair flicks dramatically around her.

In another photo, a team of the beauty's dancers are seen in formation.

There have been reports Beyoncé will be reuniting with her Destiny's child bandmates Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland at the Super Bowl.

Sources have suggested Williams and Rowland will be joining her on stage to mark their return to the charts.

Williams recently played down the talked-about event to MTV News, explaining: "Unfortunately, I honestly can't say. Just thinking about it gives me a headache. It seems quite impossible because of our own individual schedules. My opening night for 'Fela!' is January 29. I've been in rehearsals for that, so I haven't had time to think about learning anything else."

The girls have reunited for a new album, which features a brand new song entitled 'Nuclear', and Williams explained to MTV that recording with them again just felt right:

"It was a bunch of fun. It was just picking up right where we left off. The harmonies and just us stacking [vocals]. Beyonce laid hers first, then I'd go and lay another note to the bottom, and I'm like, 'Wow, this is dope.'"

"I literally got goose bumps. [After hearing it,] Beyonce sent an email like, 'Man, we sound good together!' I'm like, 'Duh, that's what we do, boo! That's what we do!'"

She added that 'Love Songs' might be a new album, but she doesn't want fans to get their expectations up and hope for a tour because nothing is set in stone regarding Destiny's Child's future:

"We're not promising anything, but we just wanted to say, 'Hey, we still got it,' and we just wanted to give fans something just to say thank you and that we really love you."

The US Marine Corps Band revealed that Beyoncé sang over a pre-recorded vocal and lip-synched to the song, but today (January 23) a group of sound production experts disputed their claims and gave supporting evidence, but no official comments have been made as of yet regarding the issue.

Despite this, Williams told Entertainment Tonight that it shouldn't be a big deal because everyone knows that the 'Halo' hitmaker is more than capable of singing live and even her idol, Whitney Houston, once mimed the national anthem so it is acceptable:

"I will say this, it's not the first or the last time that someone has had to lip-synch... My greatest singer of all time, Whitney Houston, it came to light that her anthem was in fact lip-synched."

"With big crowds and echoes, you know when it's a big historical moment, you don't want any room for any mistakes, so I can understand why it was done."

During an interview with the Associated Press, the singer, who recently signed up to be a new cast member in the stage musical 'Fela!', explained that she often finds it hard to get out of bed and wants to speak about it to encourage other sufferers to get the help they need:

"I had to choose to get out of bed and do whatever I needed to do to be happy. We're taught, 'Just go to church and pray about it. The Lord is going to heal you.'"

Referring to the stigma attached to discussing mental health, she urged people to seak and accept treatment because it's such a tough thing to face alone and silently:

"Well, in the meantime, I believe God-gifted people, physicians, doctors, therapists — that's your healing. Take advantage of it. Go see a professional so that they can assess you. It's OK if you're going through something. Depression is not OK, but it is OK to go get help.”
