The lads unveiled their brand new music video for 'Live While We're Young' last Thursday (September 20) and it attracted a staggering amount of hits upon its release, but video hosting site VEVO has now confirmed that it had more views in a 24-hour period than Justin Bieber achieved with 'Boyfriend' so they are now the title holders:

The accompanying visuals for 'Live While We're Young' have continued to be incredibly popular and since the cut dropped it has had a phenomenal 26,828,175 views (September 26).

Speaking to The Sun newspaper about the 'Poison' hitmaker's return to the show, Osbourne explained that she's a fantastic fit for the televised vocal talent contest and even credited herself with getting her to be involved:

"She was my find! I had her as a guest judge on X Factor a few years ago. I spotted her! I think she's brilliant."

"She's actually quite a naughty girl… She's beautiful, funny. She was up dancing at the auditions already, so she'll be great fun."

Scherzinger recently opened up about her relationships with the other judges and revealed that it took her a while "to warm" to Tulisa Contostavlos: "It took her a second to warm to me, because we didn’t know each other. She’s used to being with two guys on stage. Now she’s solo which is great, and I’ve been through that."

Speaking to MTV News about her exciting judging role, the 'Starships' hitmaker explained that she's setting a new "milestone" by taking part and she feels empowered to be involved:

"It's a milestone for me; it's a milestone for hip-hop; it's a milestone for young black women. Has there ever been a black woman [judging] on the show? This is a show that 20 million people watch so I feel like we should be represented on that show and I'm very proud of my decision to do it."

She also opened up about her initial reservations over joining 'American Idol', adding that she was concerned about her reputation:

"Of course I had doubts but I had to realise that my fears of doing the show came a lot from what I thought people would say," she explained. "I had to really think and [realize that] a lot of decisions I've made in my career, people thought I was f***** crazy and I made them, and I continue to make the hard decisions."

The Irish singer attended her concert at London's iTunes Festival yesterday (pictured below) and took to his official Twitter page after the show to tell his fans how impressed he was with her as an artist:

"Great night! went to see @LanaDelRey with @yasminechanel @darrenf1992 @eoghanmcdermo , what a singer! she is amazing."

Horan also chatted to BBC Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw live on air this morning and admitted that he has a busy day of promo ahead: "We've got loads of interviews all day so I'm just getting ready for it now actually."

When asked what the most common question he will be asked during the interviews today might be, he joked it's likely to be "are we actually friends".

The 'One Thing' sensation also said that spending long periods of time being interviewed can be tiring, but he can't really get away with sitting in the back and not speaking up: "Sometimes when you're in an interview and someone starts answering the first question, you're just like 'yeah, you keep going'!"

Speaking to Britain's Daily Star newspaper, he explained that after his sister Paloma survived a 50ft (15 metres) fall from a window at her home in West London, which resulted in her being impaled on a metal rail, he began thinking a lot about how life can be taken away at any moment and decided to incorporate this mindset into the songs on his new album:

"My sister should have died but she's a miracle of the NHS. I really believe in fate now. I think you have to fight, but also to surrender your fears into the hands of fate."

"You can lose everything in five seconds. It was a massive jolt and made me realise: 'You'd f**king better make the most of what's in front of you.' As soon as Paloma was stable, I ran away to make my record."

Speaking about Paloma's terrifying accident, Mika added: "Paloma was having a cheeky cigarette, lost her balance and wasn't strong enough to save herself. Her neighbour held on to the railings for an hour, to ensure they didn't fall into the basement. It was a total disaster, yet a weirdly positive event too."

The Australian star has teamed up with British artist Katerina Jebb for a video clip that pokes fun at insurance companies.

The 'Flower' singer is seen walking into a hallway with an elegant white dress on before stopping at the bottom of stairs.

When she turns around, however, it is revealed that most of her bottom is being shown because of the cutaway nature of her dress.

Speaking to The Sun, the Marina and the Diamonds star said that a dodgy haircut in the US made her locks "literally fall out" - meaning that she had to cut it short to mask the accident.

She then wore a wig for nine months to cover up the short hair before it naturally grew back again. Diamandis said:

"It literally fell out. I went to this hairdresser in LA before a shoot, and she just f***** it up. She was blowdrying my hair and said: 'You've got a bit of breakage at the back'. I looked around and a lot had just snapped off at two inches. A week later I had it all cut really short."

She added: "I bought a wig and painted the roots black and wore a ribbon over it, so it looked natural. And the ribbon became part of my look. I wore the wig for nine months. Nobody knew. It's only now that my hair is long enough to look natural. Wigs are fun, but I never felt beautiful in a wig. So I'm glad to have my own hair back."

The singer has previously released the cover artwork and the lyrics for the song, which is said will feature on her forthcoming new album.

Her seventh studio album is expected to land in November but today (September 26) the track, which was written by Sia, was unveiled.

Taking to Twitter to comment on the song's release, Rihanna said: "This song is for everybody! Don't let nobody take your shine! #Diamonds."

'Diamonds' was largely well received by fans, with one Twitter user saying: "@rihanna gives me goosebumps! I love this..we're beautiful like#diamonds in the sky."

Another user meanwhile tweeted: "I can't stop listening #Diamonds ! Beautiful song ! You are our#Diamond @rihanna."
