Selena Gomez has admitted she is going to keep quiet about boyfriend Justin Bieber on her new album.

The singer and actress is planning on making a new record and she told E! that her relationship will not overtly be covered in her songs.

Instead, she plans going down the more metaphorical route. She said:

"It's not going to be necessarily, 'Here's my tell-all.' It's going to be more of something that people could say, 'It could be that or it could be this or it could that'."

She continued: "At the end of the day I only make my music because I want it be really fun and if I could have people dance to it, relate to it, have a good time, that's all I want."

Nas reveals new album is inspired by 90s hip-hop roots

Nas has revealed that his new album is inspired by his 90s hip-hop roots.

The US rapper, who last night headlined the 1Xtra Stage at Radio 1’s Hackney Weekend, told Digital Spy that his upcoming 10th studio effort, ‘Life Is Good,’ was a conscious effort to revisit the sounds of his breakthrough era:

"My new album is just about feeling life and not letting anything get in the way of living life. The only thing that got in the way of the album is how music sounds today. It's the perfect time for me to do the music that is true to my early '90s roots and make it appealing today. I just let it flow.

"The sound came back naturally to me in my case because I was part of the '90s rap renaissance. I went back to that era back in my head and went back to producers from that time as well as ones who are only just starting out.”

The 38-year-old, who has recruited the likes of Mary J. Blige, Rick Ross and Anthony Hamilton for the record, insisted that he’s not too concerned anymore with how his music is perceived by younger audiences:

“It's up to this generation and the next to decide what they want to listen to. I have a different take on today's charts compared to the younger crowd and I don't let appealing to them bother me anymore. I spoke a bit about it on my Hip-Hop Is Dead album, but I'm past that now and I'm inspired again."

Paris Hilton booed on DJing debut

Paris Hilton faced a difficult DJing debut on Saturday night after being booed whilst hitting the decks at the Sao Paolo Music Festival.

Dressed in a Lady Gaga-style knickerbocker playsuit, suspenders and a pair of diamond encrusted headphones, the 31-year-old heiress performed an hour-long set in front of thousands of Brazilian festivalgoers.

But after introducing her new Afrojack-produced single, 'Last Night,' she mistakenly played Rihanna’s hit, 'We Found Love,' at the same time, leading to heckles from the audience.

But the ‘Stars Are Blind’ singer, who will release her second album later this year, seemed oblivious to the negative response, tweeting after the event:

“Wow! What an incredible night! So happy you all loved my set! Loved watching you all smile & dance! One of the best night's of my life!"

Adam Lambert admits he’s not always comfortable with gay icon status

Adam Lambert has revealed that he’s not always comfortable with the gay icon status that’s been thrust upon him.

The 30-year-old, who recently became the first openly gay male artist to top the US album charts with his second studio effort, 'Trespassing,' told Billboard.com that he sometimes struggles to cope with such a responsibility:

"There's not just one type of gay person and that's the hardest part about being one of the few in the public eye. I'm not the guy next door, necessarily. I dress kinda crazy, I'm a little bit more in-your-face with some of my instincts, and i've got a certain amount of flak for that because I get the sentiment of 'you're not representing us in a way that's going to help us integrate and help outside society accept us.'

"Artists are supposed to be individual … to challenge people and make (them) think. Artists aren't always supposed to have everybody like everything they do. That's part of it."

The American Idol runner-up, who last week performed his current single, 'Never Close Our Eyes,' on The Graham Norton Show, went on to confess that he still has difficulty deciding what type of role model he wants to be:

“In so many cases, I find myself saying, I wanna be the really nice down-to-earth guy who happens to be gay in order to set an example that it's not threatening.

"Then there's another part of me that's like, no I wanna be fierce and ... do whatever I want because I'm a rebel. I have that battle inside of me. I know a lot of people do. "

Paris Jackson has paid tribute to her father Michael on the 3rd anniversary of his death.

The 14-year-old, who last week posted a photo of Michael and her mother Debbie Rowe on Twitter, took to the same social networking site earlier today to let the world know she was thinking about the ‘Bad’ star.

She posted: "RIP Michael Jackson .. Dad you will forever be in my heart <3 i love you (sic)."

Paris recently revealed in an interview with Oprah Winfrey that she was initially confused at having to wear masks whilst out with her father as a youngster, but that she understands the reasons now:

“My dad wanted us to be covered because he wanted us to have a childhood.”

Heidi Range has revealed that Sugababes are still working on new material.

The ever-changing girl group haven’t released anything since free download, 'Freedom,' late last year, but the 28-year-old told Digital Spy that they are still together, even if they're unlikely to release anything soon:

“We're all writing in the studio anyway. It's kind of ongoing. But there's no plans to bring anything out this year."

The Liverpudlian singer, who competed in Dancing On Ice earlier this year, also claimed that she hadn’t given much thought about the original Sugababes line-up teaming up again, but did go on to wish Atomic Kitten luck for their planned reunion:

"I don't know if I'd go to one of the shows, but I think it's great if they've had a break and want to get back together. I hope it goes well.

"I was 15 when I was in the group with Kerry [Katona] and Liz [McClarnon]. I did bump into Kerry a few times when I was doing Dancing on Ice and said hello, but I don't really know them well.”

Kylie Minogue reveals she always dreamed of stardom

Kylie Minogue has revealed that she always dreamed of stardom as a youngster.

The Australian pop princess, who recently criticised Madonna’s cheerleading look, told Perez Hilton that she used to imagine her road to success from the age of seven:

"Well I know I love music. I was the girl daydreamer. I actually had like a full on daydream that my next-door neighbour was a record producer and he would hear me sing. I mean, I'm seven or eight singing into the hairbrush, and doing the Grease manoeuvres.

"So I did always love music, and I started learning, went to like rhythm musical class around four, and learnt piano, and violin, and flute. And so music was always around."

But the 44-year-old, who last week described her role in new film Holy Motors as the highlight of her career, said that she and her sister Dannii were never pushed into a music career by their parents:

"I can [still] hold the flute, I just can't remember what to do. But my mum was really keen to, not to force us into that kind of thing.

"But just to expose us to that, and see if we liked it, and strangely my sister and I both completely fell into it, and my brother works as a cameraman, so he's on the other side."
