Following on from her UK tour with ‘Simply Red’ front man, Mick Hucknall. Radio 2 A-listed, Moya is delighted to announce she’ll be supporting British music legend Rod Stewart, on his upcoming 14-date UK / EU tour: “I am unbelievably excited to be supporting Rod Stewart,” says Moya. “I never thought I would be able to play arenas so early on in my career and I feel really privileged to be supporting such a legend!”

The 22-year-old singer-songwriter will open for Rod each night – including 8 UK shows, two at London’s O2 June 4th & 5th – for a summer tour set to raise temperatures across the UK and Europe. Full dates below.

It’s been a busy few months for the young singer, since releasing the Radio 2 A Listed ‘Making Me Fall’ late last year. She’s since been featured in The Independent, as a One to Watch, and a page in Metro’s style section, to blanket coverage everywhere from Q, The Daily Mirror and Daily Star, to Digital Spy, MSN and The Huffington Post.

Her video views for ‘A Little More Love’ alone amount to over half a million YouTube views, a number Moya still can’t quite get her head round. ‘These past few months have been pretty amazing,’ says Moya. ‘But now it’s about stepping up and giving it even more. I'm really excited about what’s happening this year.’

‘A Little More Love’ is produced and co-written with David Blair-Oliphant, the producer behind Moya’s biggest hit to date ‘Making Me Fall.’ Taking the airwaves by storm in last October, the single spent 3 weeks on the BBC Radio 2 A-List, with interviews and countless plays across the station, including The Chris Evans Breakfast Show and Ken Bruce. Fearne Cotton loved the single, featuring it on her Radio 1 show and even Hollywood blogger Perez Hilton was won over, branding Moya ‘the female Bruno Mars.’

His son, named Mario Armando Lavandeira III, was born on February 16 and was born via a surrogate mother who was artificially inseminated with a donor egg. Speaking to the Los Angeles Times about being a first-time father, he explained:

The female singer is due to have a child with husband Josh Duhamel soon, and a number of online gossip websites have claimed that she would lose her place in the band as a result.

Perez Hilton reported that any replacement would be only temporary and that Fergie would be welcomed back when she was ready to return.

Will.i.am, however, has set the record straight on Twitter, flatly denying the story. He said:

X Factor USA judge Lovato was irked on Twitter after reading a story about Lohan on celebrity website Perez Hilton, tweeting the blogger: "Hey how about you just leave her alone? Instead of kicking someone while they're down?"

Hilton then replied: "The media (me) is not harming Lindsay. She is doing that to herself. She needs to take #accountability before she will get better. She has been given chance after chance after chance to redeem herself and make good. Yet she's like a broken record...And she doesn't get any 'free pass' because her parents are both incredibly dysfunctional. She's an adult, not a child or teen."

He continued: "I do wish Lindsay well and hope she is able to sort out her issues for good before she ends up like her idol, Marilyn Monroe."

The Twitter debate ended on a slightly more positive vibe, with Lovato tweeting: "I know you're doing your job. But I like reading your site for the funny, uplifting random videos of babies or animals better."

The Bajan superstar was reported to have spent time with her ex-boyfriend during a recent holiday in the Mediterranean, but the celebrity blogger told Closer magazine that he thinks it’s a bad move:

"I don't have good views on Chris Brown. I'd like her to be happy with someone, as long as it's not him. I believe they are still in contact, which is a shame because I think it holds her back from falling in love with someone new."

However, the 34-year-old did go on to defend the ‘Umbrella’ singer when asked if he thought she was partying too hard:

"No, I think she's fine. And I haven't heard anything about her being rude to those she works with or acting like a diva to her management. She's still a real professional and puts on a great show - so I say let her have her fun!"

The idea that One Direction could disband had been floated recently by celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, who predicted a less than certain future for the group.

However, Liam Payne told Top of the Pops magazine that he has absolutely no desire to leave the band, adding that he enjoys being in a group. When asked if he has ever thought about flying solo, Payne replied:

"Erm, not really. I think it would be massively, massively boring! I don't know how Justin Bieber does it, but full props to him. I like being around the boys. I enjoy other people's company and it's a lot more fun being in a band on stage."

He added: "There's so much work in this industry that if I had to do it on my own, I don't even know what I'd do. I'd be very bored and very boring!"

Speaking to showbiz blogger Perez Hilton, the British singer songwriter said that his history of long relationships rules out any groupie action.

Sheeran also added that he feels like a "newbie" in the music industry, so he isn't wanting to risk messing anything up just yet. He said:

"I've always been in long term relationships for the whole of my life, so no. [I'm] not so much [in a relationship] now because I'm kind of away, but we're not in any place long enough to do that, we leave after every gig. One day, one day. I think when I get a little bit older and settle into it a bit more, but I'm a newbie on the scene, I don't want to mess it up yet.''

The 'Drunk' singer meanwhile revealed that he has also been writing new material with Northern Irish rockers Snow Patrol.
