Pop sensation Britney Spears has called for her fans to help locate a homeless man who was pictured holding a sign that read, "need to get new Britney Spears CD, anything will help. God bless".

Writing to her 9.9 million followers on social networking site Twitter last night (October 2), the 'Till The World Ends' hitmaker explained that if he can be found she will donate her entire musical back catalogue to him:

"If anyone can find this gentleman I've got a package with my entire catalog with his name on it.... -Britney"

While she was met with messages of support from her fans, one of her followers posed the question, "don't you think there are other ways you could help him apart from giving him your CDs?"

Spears will return to the UK later this month with her Femme Fatale tour and you can watch her recent interview with Kiss FM here:

Soulja Boy thinks about Shakespeare when writing new music

Rapper Soulja Boy has admitted that he's inspired by the famous wordsmith Shakespeare because of how he was able to express himself so strongly through how he wrote.

Speaking to Spin magazine, the 'Crank That' star explained that when he's writing in the studio he often compares how his lyrics will be interpreted to how Shakespeare made important points with his strong use of language:

"The quote, 'To be or not to be' represents having no fear in whatever you do in life. It says if you're going to pursue something you go at it with everything you got."

"When I decide what type of music I'm going to create in the studio, I think about that saying and what I'll be representing. If I'm going to make music for the streets or the clubs or whatever, I go at it with 110 percent."

Watch him demonstrate his lyrical prowess below:

Glee's Chris Colfer uses his creativity to express emotions

Glee's Chris Colfer, who plays the role of Kurt Hummel, has opened up about his love for the arts and how he isn't limited by one particular aspect of creativity.

The singer, actor and writer - otherwise known as a triple threat - was a guest at the 2011 New Yorker Festival on Saturday, October 1 and spoke about his book deal and how performing on the hit U.S musical helps him to express emotion:

"I really feel like singing is the best tool for an actor to use to get the emotion across, and to get the audience to connect to the emotion. Those are like candy to me, I love doing them."

Colfer also spoke about the book deal he recently landed and explained that literature was a huge part of his childhood so it means a lot to be able to experience the process of publishing with the best interests of young readers at heart:

"I remember in the moment never wanting an escape more ever, I wanted to literally dive into the book. I then came up with the story about these two twins that went to fairytale world and all the adventures they had, adventures I wanted to experience rather than what I was going through. I promised myself then if I ever had the opportunity to write it in a book, I would."

His first book is due to be released in August 2012 with a second to follow later, and you can watch part of his interview from the New Yorker Festival here:

Jay-Z backs President Obama for 2012 re-election

Rapper Jay-Z has offered his support for U.S President Barack Obama's re-election campaign and is positive that he is still "the best man for the job".

The '99 Problems' hitmaker revealed to WENN that when Obama was voted in it made not only him, but the whole of America feel like "we were all a part of the American Dream finally. Like it was accessible to everyone."

"It was very inspirational. And it made everyone feel like that whole American Dream, like, we were all a part of the American Dream finally. Like it was accessible to everyone... Now we have to get a female president and a Latino president and then we are on our way."

"I still think he is the best man for the job, so yes (I will campaign for him). I think he got a raw deal and he got a really tough economy. It's going to test his mettle, which is great. You don't get anything that you can't handle. So he must be really special because he got (sic) a lot of work to do."

Watch Jay-Z talk about how inspirational Obama is from his original campaign in 2008 here:
