Rizzle Kicks and Nick Grimshaw have shot two new music show pilots for Channel 4.

'Mama Do The Hump' stars Jordan Stephens and Harley Alexander-Sule filmed a test show for the programme Smells Like Friday Night.

BBC Radio 1 DJ Nick Grimshaw meanwhile shot a pilot for fellow newbie That Music Show.

Hour-long magazine style show Smells Like Friday Night is all about "mixing appointment-to-view music performances with cutting edge comedy and chat to capture the Channel 4 Friday night feeling viewers know and love."

That Music Show meanwhile is "set in an iconic music venue with a vibrant award-style feel and combines a competitive year vs. year pop quiz with a raucous music gig".

Channel 4's Music Commissioning Editor Jonathan Rothery meanwhile commented:

"We said last year that we wanted to provide a bigger platform for music on Channel 4 and the response from indies has been amazing - around fifty companies pitched over one hundred ideas. We’ve chosen these two fresh approaches to take to pilot, with a view to commissioning a full series for later this year."

Katy Perry apologises to Chief Keef after being threatened with violence

Katy Perry has defused tensions between herself and Chief Keef after she was threatened by the US rapper.

As previously reported, the pop songstress recently criticised Keef's track 'Hate Bein' Sober' on Twitter.

This prompted the rapper to violently reply to Perry, saying: "Dat b*tch Katy Perry Can Suck Skin Off Of my D*ck. Ill Smack The Sh*t out her."

Naturally, the 'Teenage Dream' star seemed a little taken aback by the comments, prompting the singer to mediate the tension with some conciliatory words. Perry said:

"Mr. Keef! I'm sorry if I offended you. I heard a lot of people guesting on the song & didn't even know it was you in particular. Actually, I'm a fan of your "Don't Like" video tbh. I was really just having a general opinion on our generations desire to be constantly intoxicated."

She concluded: "Believe me, I'm a lover not a hater. x."

Seemingly putting an end to the matter, Keef then retweeted Perry's messages.

Behavioural expert says One Direction are being "milked dry" by management

A behavioural expert believes the team behind One Direction might be pushing them too hard.

The boyband are stuck in a constant cycle of touring and recording, and whilst they seem to be enjoying their success, it could take its toll.

Expert on behaviour Judi James believes One Direction's management are "absolutely milking them dry" and that the band's happiness could suffer as a result. She told Entertainmentwise:

"They look very positive at the moment, they're clearly just enjoying it, but if it goes on for too long that sort of pressure can be wearing."

James added that the interest in their private lives and their rabid following means that they are often cooped up inside. She said:

"They're healthy guys kept prisoner in hotel rooms."

A person pretending to be Psy has been rubbing shoulders with the stars in Cannes.

However, his game is up after the real singer found out and tweeted about the fake.

It seems the imposter has been attending glitzy parties at the Cannes film festival, meeting the likes of actor Adrien Brody and James Bond star Naomie Harris.

He posed for photos with the stars and even reportedly managed to get behind the DJ decks at an event hosted by a Russian oil man.

However, the real Psy found out and posted about the imposter on Twitter, saying:

"Seems like there's another ME at cannes...say Hi to him @scooterbraun lol."

He later posted an image of the fake Psy before confirming that the real version was actually in Singapore.

The Sun says the imposter is 34-year-old Denis Carre, who got the idea after being mistaken for the Korean whilst in Ireland. He reportedly said:

"A crowd of people gathered around me and the situation got totally out of control. We were only able to get out with the help of the bouncers".

Cheryl Cole: "Beauty comes from within"

Cheryl Cole believes that true beauty is on the inside.

The Girls Aloud singer is well known for her good looks, but she told French website Get The Look that it isn't always just about how you look on the outside.

The 'Call My Name' star said that sometimes no amount of makeup can beat some inner gorgeousness. She said:

"You can wear all the make-up you want, but beauty comes from within. A lot of people say it's a cliché, but it's so true."

Cole continued: "If you feel beautiful inside, you can tell. So you need to feel comfortable within yourself, which is definitely not always easy - but you should try!"

Despite the inner beauty talk, the singer is long associated with makeup company L'Oreal and she was recently in Cannes to promote the brand.
