Professor Green frustrated by snobbery over relationship with Made In Chelsea star

Professor Green has admitted he is frustrated by the snobbery over his relationship with Made In Chelsea’s Millie Mackintosh.

The East London rapper, who began dating the reality show star late last year, told The Independent that he’s tired of the press pointing out the differences between their backgrounds.

He said: “It's just all the things they write and say and imply. If the difference was race or we were a gay couple, they probably wouldn't be as quick to point the difference out. But because it's class, it's fair game. That's still prejudice.

“You're effectively calling me a commoner – which I am, common as muck. But I'm doing all right for myself, and I'm well-mannered, I'm courteous. Which is not something that's a given for someone who has a better background. As I find out every day."

The 28-year-old, who previously stated he would never become a regular on the E4 series, also claimed that people’s pre-conceived ideas about the couple couldn’t be further from the truth:

"She's not thick as shit. And I'm a marginally decent human being. She works for her money. She doesn't live off a handout. She works fucking hard. So yeah, it's all just a bit of a wind-up."

Professor Green performs in middle of London street

Professor Green performed in the middle of a London street today (May 21) as part of an adventurous VEVO series.

The rapper played his track 'Remedy' to surprised shoppers on London's Carnaby Street as VEVO Go Show hits the UK.

The series sees performers give impromptu performances in strange places.

Green said that playing the DIY show brought him back to his rap battle days when he was starting out in the music scene. He said:

"Getting involved in a VEVO Go Show was a chance to really surprise my fans by doing something totally different. Performing on the street is such a raw and unpredictable experience - it's like going back to the battles in the early days. Working with VEVO to bring rap music to Carnaby Street - somewhere that's at the heart of the music scene - has been a really amazing experience."

Professor Green reveals he has no plans to become Made In Chelsea regular

Professor Green has revealed that he has no plans to make any further appearances in hit reality drama Made In Chelsea.

The East London rapper, who is dating one of the E4 series’ regulars, Millie Mackintosh, was briefly shown in last week’s episode but speaking to The Reading Chronicle, he said fans shouldn’t expect to see him on the show again:

"That's the one and only! Millie, bless her, it wasn't easy for her. The last series was all about her relationship and, from what she's told me, she was getting a lot of stress from it.

"I don't want that aspect of my life filmed, it's private. We don't want to make it public as it's ours and we want to keep it ours."

However, the 28-year-old, who yesterday unveiled the video for his new single, 'Remedy,' hinted that he may return to the small screen for another fly-on-the-wall project:

"I liked doing the TV programme last year,The Next 48 Hours With Professor Green, which was really successful.

"We had a lot of fun doing that so maybe something like that again but really just the music - I'm all about music."

Professor Green "mystifies" Made In Chelsea girlfriend Millie

British rap sensation Professor Green has made such an impression on his new girlfriend, Millie Mackintosh, that she has publicly spoken about their relationship in a new interview.

The Made In Chelsea beauty opened up to Look magazine about her romance with the 'Just Be Good To Green' hitmaker and described him as mystifying:

"He’s so talented and the kindest person I’ve ever met. He still mystifies me. After everything he’s been through in his life, he really could be a bad person but he’s not. He’s very switched on and I find that funny and appealing."

When asked if the couple were serious enough to consider taking their romance to the next level, Mackintosh laughed and explained that while they're both too young to be tied down she is "really excited" with how everything's going:

"I’m only 22! I’m not thinking about that at the moment, but I’m really excited for the future."
