FROM HERE TO NOW TO YOU TO BE RELEASED SEPTEMBER 17

Wednesday 19th June – Jack Johnson announces fall headline tour dates in support of his sixth studio album, From Here To Now To You, to be released on September 17 through Johnson’s own Brushfire Records. Johnson and his band will kick off their tour in Europe on September 5, and return to the States with a headline performance at Life is good Festival on September 22 in Canton, MA. From there, inspired by his solo acoustic Hawaiian Islands Theater Tour last year, Johnson will play some of the most beautiful and intimate seated theatres in North America including Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, Seattle’s Paramount Theatre and the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, CA. As Johnson told Rolling Stone about his 2012 Hawaiian Islands Tour: "They were the most magical shows," he says. "It gave you the time to tell stories and where the songs came from. I really enjoyed that. I think we're going to mix it up next year with different types of tours, but at least for a lot of it, we're going to try to do some theaters." With 25 of his 28 fall tour venues in historic theaters, Johnson is doing just that. As with all of his tours since 2008, Johnson will donate 100% of his tour profits to charity.

Tickets for Jack Johnson’s upcoming fall tour of North America in support of From Here To Now To You will be available exclusively through a lottery on www.jackjohnsonmusic.com allowing fans a fair shot at getting a ticket to these intimate theater shows. Winners will be selected after June 24th and contacted by email with their purchase instructions. In Europe, tickets will be sold through normal ticket outlets. The European shows go on sale to the public on Thursday, June 20th and Friday, June 21st. Please check local show information for onsale times.

For the fall tour, Johnson and his production team, alongside Reverb, will continue to pave the way in green touring practices and community engagement initiatives.

LMFAO have confirmed that they will reunite - but don't expect to see the duo back together anytime soon.

The group announced last year that they would be taking a prolonged break from their musical endeavours to pursue other avenues.

Speaking to MTV, SkyBlu said that he and Redfoo have been enjoying time away from LMFAO, suggesting that a reunion will happen but not for some time. He said:

"It's on the hiatus tip because situations happen where me and [Red] Foo have been together 10 years strong, working, doing our thing, and LMFAO's been together for about seven. We've had great success and that whole success was based on an organic lifestyle, an organic situation in the studio."

The 'Party Rock Anthem' man continued: "So for that to come out the right way, we got to allow it to have time to breathe. People are always [like], 'Well, we want LMFAO'. Ok, well you didn't want LMFAO before LMFAO got hot, so slow down. LMFAO are gonna come back, but we gonna go it right. We're not gonna rush, nothing can make us rush."

LMFAO's second album 'Sorry For Party Rocking' was released in 2011 and it reached No.5 in the US Billboard 200 chart.

The new Jonas Brothers single, 'First Time' has today leaked online.

Something of a departure from their previous sound, the soaring synth-pop track was one of several new compositions the former Disney trio played on their brief reunion tour last year.

It’s the second taster of new material from the band since they returned from their three-year hiatus, following the release of ‘Pom Poms’ back in April.

‘First Time’ is taken from the long-awaited follow-up to 2009’s ‘Lines, Vines and Trying Times,’ which is scheduled for release later this year.

Liam Gallagher: ‘Oasis fans need to grow up’

Liam Gallagher has argued that Oasis fans need to stop taking sides between his own band Beady Eye and brother Noel’s solo career.

The 40-year-old, whose group is at No.2 in the midweeks with second album, ‘BE,’ told the Daily Record that people should judge the two acts on their music and nothing else:

"I read stuff. It's divided, innit? And it's like, 'he's a d**k' and 'he's not a d**k'. Everyone should just wind their necks in.

"I'm not saying you've got to go and buy our record, you only buy it if you like it. But there's a lot of hatred to certain members of bands, whether it's me or Noel, and I just think it's stupid.

"They don't have to act like d**ks just 'cause me and our kid are, they should just grow up."

Liam, who revealed today that he suffers from the same tinnitus condition as Noel, also refused to rule out an Oasis reunion in the future:

"I'm not against nothing, never say never, but right now this is where we're at."

Cheryl Cole on Girls Aloud: "We've definitely split"

Cheryl Cole has opened up about how Girls Aloud decided to bring the band’s time together to an end.

In conversation with InStyle magazine Cole revealed: “We've definitely split. I know Nadine [Coyle] always said she never thought we should say out loud the words, 'We've split', but at the same time we don't want to mislead the fans.”

The ‘Fight For This Love’ star explained that she feels the band simply reached their conclusion: “There was nothing really more we could do. I can't imagine going into the studio with all Girls Aloud now. Some of us are now 32. It's just different. It just is.”

Cole also made it clear that she is not hoping for a Girls Aloud comeback in the future: “I hope to God I'm not turning up to a Girls Aloud reunion and jumping around doing all the routines when I'm 45.”

Aside from music Cheryl also discussed the possibility of more television work. On the idea of hosting her own show, Cole said: “In the future it's not something I'd rule out. It would be something I'd have to practise and see how I felt.”

Cheryl Cole recently divulged that she did not feel mentally strong enough whilst working on her last series of the X Factor.

Liam Gallagher could reunite Oasis for anniversary show next year

Liam Gallagher has teased Oasis fans by admitting he would reunite the band for an anniversary gig.

The popular Mancunians disbanded in 2009 after brotherly went sour and Liam and Noel fell out.

Liam went on to form Beady Eye whilst Noel Gallagher started his High Flying Birds solo group.

Speaking to NME, Liam Gallagher admitted that he may be willing to resolve their differences and reunite Oasis to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the seminal album 'Definitely Maybe' in 2014. He said:

"There's unfinished business there. People ask would I get Oasis back together. I'd do it for nowt, but if someone's going to drop a load of f**king money, I'd do it for that too."

Gallagher added: "If we do, it'd be nice to do that f**king thing that's coming up [the 20th anniversary]. I'd be up for that. But I'd still go back to Beady Eye and Noel would go back to his thing. We could bury the hatchet for a quick lap of honour."

However, it would only be a short-lived affair, with Liam stating that he wouldn't want to record another album with Oasis.

Beady Eye are relasing their second album 'BE' on Monday (June 10) - but it has received mixed reviews, with Drowned In Sound giving it 0/10.

Rare footage of The Smiths appears online

25 years after it was originally filmed, footage of a rare gig Morrissey played with The Smiths after the band’s break up has appeared online.

The gig took place at the Wolverhamption Civic Hall on December 22, 1988, over a year after the band’s break-up. Fans wearing Morrissey or Smiths t-shirts gained admission to see all the members of the band minus guitarist Johnny Marr play songs that that had never before been heard live as well as songs recorded for Morrissey’s solo career. At the time of the performance, the three other members were in the process of suing their former singer.

The footage appeared online yesterday featuring the full 40-minute set opening with ‘Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard This One Before’.

REM say there are no plans to reunite

REM have admitted that there is little chance of the band reuniting.

The US group split in 2011 after an illustrious career but there has been speculation that the trio might reconvene soon.

However, Bassist Mike Mills told Rolling Stone that there is no plans afoot to reunite.

The musician did say though that you can't predict the future - leaving the door ajar for a reunion in the future. Speaking of their decision to split, he said:

"There were no real factors other than deciding it was time to break up. There's no drug abuse. There's no in-fighting. There's no legal problems. It was time to break up. That's never really been done before."

Mills added: "The idea of breaking up and not reforming for a reunion tour is kind of attractive to us. I doubt you'll see us touring as REM again. On the other hand, I just played with Peter [Buck, guitarist] in New York City the other night, so fun things do happen. Absolutely nobody can predict the future. But right now, there are zero plans for an REM reunion. Absolutely zero. But the future is a strange place. We could all be hit by a meteor tomorrow, but I would consider it highly unlikely."

REM's last album meanwhile came in the form of 2011's 'Collapse Into Now'.

ABBA star Agnetha Fältskog: 'We didn't sound or look very good live'

Agnetha Fältskog, ABBA's very own blonde bombshell, has revealed that looking back on her amazing career with the pop group she doesn't think they sounded great live and also thinks they could have looked better.

The songstress, who will release her first album of original solo material since 1987 next week (May 13), told the Daily Mail newspaper that she can see ways the band could have improved and believes they weren't great live performers:

"I didn't mind doing videos, even if they came very close with the camera. I can take that, but walking onstage in concert and singing live, that is a bit difficult. And I don't think we sounded or looked very good."

She added that their lack of dance training was an issue and they used to decide on choreography themselves before each show: "It was nice to look how we looked, but we had no professional dance help. We did it on feelings, so when we had our concerts it was different every night. Frida and I didn't talk beforehand about what we were going to do."

The hitmaker recently revealed that it's very unlikely ABBA will ever reform, telling reporters that they have "had a lot of offers but we have our own life now since many years back and we don’t understand why we should do it."

Liam Gallagher: 'I'd play live again with Noel for £30 million'

Former Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher has revealed that despite fans' pleas, it would take a lot of money to get him back on stage or in the studio with his brother, Noel.

Speaking to Q magazine (pictured below) about a potential reunion, the Beady Eye hitmaker explained that it's not something that is on the horizon for either of the musicians: “Listen, it’ll happen when it happens, but it ain’t a f***ing game — it’s the real deal."

“I read a lot of people going, ‘Oh, it’s just a blag, innit? So they can get some more noughts on their big f***ing comeback. But I’m still me and he’s gonna be him. I ain’t changing for a million f***ing pounds... I might do it for £30million.”

Gallagher also opened up about Beady Eye's forthcoming new album in the interview and confessed that the sound is a little different from the band's debut: "People didn’t like the first one. So we couldn’t do that again. Jumpin’ Jack Flash and Lennon gear — that’s my thing. I could do that all day long but people don’t want that, so we had to do summat."

Sarah Harding has opened up on the recent split of Girls Aloud.

The pop group recently called it a day for good after completing their 10th anniversary reunion tour.

Speaking to LOOK magazine, Harding said that in the band, she and Nadine Coyle were the most interested in vocals and music, suggesting that the other members were more keen on other aspects. She said:

"Me and Nadine are more music-orientated – more vocals – and the other three are more about dancing. I'd put my foot down about the music side of things. Nicola was more about the clothes. Choreography is Cheryl's forte. When there's five of you, it's difficult to have a say in everything. I'm looking forward to having more control."

The 'Sound of the Underground' star also touched on Nadine Coyle's recent revelation that she wanted Girls Aloud to continue. Harding said:

"I was unaware she even felt like that. At no point did she try and stop us, so you'd have to ask her why she did that."

Atomic Kitten open to the return of Jenny Frost

Atomic Kitten have revealed that they would be receptive to the idea of Jenny Frost rejoining the band.

The 90s pop group recently reformed for the nostalgic ITV series The Big Reunion alongside the likes of 5ive and B*Witched.

They brought together their original line-up - Natasha Hamilton, Liz McClarnon and Kerry Katona - meaning that longtime member Jenny Frost missed out.

Speaking to Digital Spy, Hamilton revealed that new mother Frost could be welcome to join in on the reformation, saying:

"Jenny is just taking care of the babies at the moment. That's her thing right now, so we're just letting her get on with that."

She added: "If Jenny's up for it then, yeah."

Frost originally replaced Katona in Atomic Kitten back in 2001.

Fabolous: "Chris Brown isn't a bad person"

Chris Brown's friend Fabolous hopes the public will see the star's good side in the future.

The R&B superstar and Rihanna have reunited after Brown's assault on the beauty in 2009.

The 'With You' hitmaker recently called the night he assaulted Rihanna the "deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake" and explained that she has finally forgiven him for it.

Brown's friend and fellow music star Fabolous hopes the public are able to see past the singer's mistakes.

He told the New York Post: “I can’t wager my friendship on a public or media persona of him. Those people who have bad reputations, of course you wouldn’t want to be around. But I don’t believe he’s a bad person. I believe, even if you’re looking at the situation with Rihanna, things happen and you move on.”

He added: "Whatever happened in the past is the past . . . even Rihanna’s moved on. The public has perceptions of people off of what they see, not what they know.”

Brown hit the headlines four years ago after being charged for assaulting his then girlfriend. The pair have controversially reconciled since, after initially breaking up following the incident.

Brown spoke openly about his mistake in a recent interview: "Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals. That night was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake. But she loves me – what can I say? I'm forgiven…but, yes, I worked hard for it."

He added: "I've learned a lot since that night and I've grown up. I was very young and I took a lot of stuff, fame, for granted. I didn't understand it. The support from those who do know me and the fans, who are incredible, got me through."
