Jennifer Lopez's collaborator Pitbull has revealed that working with her has taught him some really important skills and attitudes that have helped him in his own life and career.

The pair, who worked together on the smash hit single 'On The Floor', are good friends and during an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS FM radio show today (May 21), the rapper explained that he admires her work ethic and approach to challenges so adopted some of her ways as his own:

"(I) learn a lot from her every time I get the chance, I just watch how she moves. How diligent she is, militant at times, but very professional and a hard worker."

JLo and Pitbull reunited recently to record a song called 'Live It Up', which will act as her new single, and the track's music video has finally been released. Meanwhile, Pitbull has voiced a character for the forthcoming new movie 'Epic', which also stars Beyoncé.

After announcing the start date of audition stages and confirming details about the new panel, Cowell dished out advice to people wanting to audition for the show.

He said: "We start x factor auditions in charleston on Tuesday. The new panel will be announced Monday. This is going to be an interesting show!

He added: And for anyone looking for advice on who too look to as an inspiration when you are auditioning for one of our shows. One name. Beyonce. And pink. And of course one direction. Who made it happen through sheer determination (sic)."

Macklemore discusses rise to fame: 'Pre-Internet, you had to rap in street battles'

Rap sensation Macklemore has explained that while his chart success was very sudden, he has been working hard to make a name for himself in the music world since he was just a kid.

During a revealing interview with Billboard for the new issue's cover story, the 'Thrift Shop' hitmaker confessed that he was taking part in street rap battles when he was a youngster to try and gain respect from those already in the game: "This was pre-Internet as a way to get your music out. So I had to do shows, but I was too young. Freestyling on the street or in the park was where I honed the craft."

He went on to unveil his dark past, talking about how he often preferred drugs to school: "It was pre-gentrification of Seattle's Central District. And I wasn't going to class and I was doing a bunch of drugs and drinking. So my parents put me in a predominantly white school in the North End and then I did a program called Running Start, which was like a community college. I never got a chance to climb any kind of social ladder anywhere. I was more into making music-and doing hallucinogenic mushroom voyages."

Discussing his recovery, Macklemore (pictured below with Ryan Lewis) added that while he's clean now he still struggles with 'overindulging': "I tend to be an overindulger in general. Like I've just eaten two bags of chips and I had a shitload of candy from a gas station last night."

"I don't have moderation in my life. I really have to work on it. So with drugs and alcohol, I had no moderation. Smoking weed and drinking hindered my creative process. They were the veil over my eyes. It never really worked for me, in terms of being prolific."

'Novacane' singer Frank Ocean has been included in a poll that aims to rank "gay men and women whose power and prestige is instrumental in influencing the way Americans think about, and engage with, the world."

Out magazine compiled the list and put Ocean at No.10, which makes him the only star of music to be featured.

He made headlines last year after writing an open letter in which he explained that he had been in love with a man. Following Ocean's honest admission, many other prolific music figures praised his bravery and spoke out about the changing attitudes towards sexuality in the music world.

Ellen DeGeneres was placed at No.2 on Out's poll, reporter and TV personality Anderson Cooper came in fifth and 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy came third.

The 'Payphone' hitmaker, who has recently been working as a vocal coach on televised talent show 'The Voice', told E! Online that he enjoys watching 'Glee' and has spoken to its creator Ryan Murphy about possibly making a cameo in a future episode:

"I'm doing his other show now - it's the super dark, non-musical version of Glee, I've talked to Ryan a lot about [appearing on Glee]."

"We've had multiple conversations about it in the past, trying to find the right thing for it, so hopefully one day!"

He took to social networking site Twitter on June 13 to talk about his lack of respect for the controversial programme 'Toddlers and Tiaras', and wrote:

"I'd like to one day meet the mothers who allow their daughters to be on 'toddlers and tiaras' so I can vomit in their faces."

'Glee' star slams eating disorder and pregnancy rumours following red carpet collapse

'Glee' sensation Amber Riley, who portrays the sassy character of Mercedes Jones, has shot down rumours surrounding her health after she collapsed at a recent red carpet event.

She attended a 'Glee' screening at the TV Academy of Arts and Sciences in North Hollywood yesterday (May 1) and fainted during a press conference, but following the incident she tweeted that it was a result of flashing camera bulbs:

"Hey guys, I'm okay :) I got a little dizzy from all the photog flashes! You'd think I's be used to it by now, still a red carpet amateur I guess. Gonna get checked out but I feel fine. Thank you for all the concern and well wishes."

Earlier this afternoon (May 2), she hit out at newly surfaced reports that suggest she has an eating disorder or is pregnant and explained that she wouldn't purposely harm her body to fit a Hollywood stereotype:

"Lol. Let me stop the rumor mill right now. I'm not pregnant! Yes I'm black but I don't have diabetes, I don't starve myself to fit clothes; I buy clothes to fit ME not vice versa, I DO NOT DIET; I eat right and exercise!"

In an exclusive interview with The Insider, the actress explained that despite being included in the season 3 trailer that was released back in September 2011, she will miss being on the show and she's sad that her time there had to end the way it did:

"It is what it is. Lauren's somewhere in that school, she's just not on camera or being talked about [laughs]. She's involved in activities that aren't televised."

"Of course I miss me on 'Glee'. I miss everybody. I miss the fun experience that show is."

She also spoke about the flighty nature of the 'Glee' experience and revealed that getting cut is a possibility for any of the cast because nothing's ever set in stone:

" 'Glee' is very much a fly by the seat of your pants [operation] in the way that best laid plans never quite come together. They have so many [characters] to take care of and I think once they made the decision that all these characters were going to graduate, it shifted the way this season was going to go."

American Horror Story creator Ryan Murphy has teased details of Adam Levine’s upcoming role in the hit US drama.

Murphy, who was speaking to Socialite Life at a preview screening of the second season at the Leonard H. Goldenson Theatre in North Hollywood last night, revealed that fans can expect to see the Maroon 5 frontman in a different light.

He said: 'He’s a sexy guy, so he needs to play a sexy guy, but a guy that is different than who you think he would play.

“The second season is fun, sexy and baroque. It has a lot of meat to it. It’s a really gritty part. He's with a girl and they play characters called The Lovers."

Murphy, who is also responsible for the likes of Glee and Nip/Tuck, said the 'Moves Like Jagger' star didn’t take much persuading to take the role:

Murphy has also spoken out in the past about how great it would be to get Sir Elton involved, but the timing hasn't been right this time around as the icon's tour schedule clashes with filming and Murphy told TV Guide:

Dave Grohl explains 'Glee' comments

Dave Grohl has opened up about the negative comments he made about U.S hit series Glee back in March, and explained that just because he's in a popular band he shouldn't feel pressured into lending his music to television shows.

The Foo Fighters frontman appeared as a guest on Chelsea Lately (Wednesday, September 7) and revealed that he didn't realise who he was giving the original interview to so didn't think to edit his word choice accordingly:

"I was doing an interview with the Hollywood Reporter, I didn't realize it was some TV hollywood thing, I was talking to some dude and I said f*ck 'Glee.' Why should you have to do it?" he said. "Why is that necessary for you to have to do, as a rock musician, why should you have to say okay glee, take my song and turn it into a fucking musical."

"As a musician, you should be able to say no, should be able to say I don't want to do your show, you should be able to say I dont want to do anything that someone tells me to do", he added.

Glee's executive producer contradicts reports on cut cast members

Ryan Murphy may have recently revealed that some of Glee's most popular characters would be cut from season 4, but at this weekend's Comic-Con the show's executive producer gave a conflicting report.

Speaking to a packed audience at the event, Brad Falchuk explained that just because the stars are graduating from the fictional high school it doesn't mean that they're leaving the hit series:

"Here's the exact thing: [Rachel, Kurt and Finn] are seniors so they're graduating, but because they're graduating doesn't mean they're leaving the show. If you have Lea Michele under contract, you don't just say, 'We're gonna let you go.'"

Watch part of Falchuk's interview from Comic-Con, in which he clears up the cast's shake up rumours, below:
