One Direction release full 'Kiss You' music video

Following a week of teasing snippets, the One Direction heartthrobs have finally unveiled the full music video for their new single.

The lads have now shared the final cut (January 7), which sees them riding on motorcyles and surfboards, and singing along to the track in both prison attire and skiing gear.

The video's director, Vaughan Arnell, recently told MTV News that it's a "tongue-in-cheek" offering and fans will probably get the humour although it's not necessarily a comedic release:

"I think it's as you've never seen the boys before, kind of studio-based. I wouldn't say comedy, it's all tongue-in-cheek. And I think in the past, the boys have always been outside, it's always been kind of quite location-based, and this is the first studio-based idea I've done with them."

"You're going to see them dressed as Hollywood [stars], you're going to see them dressed as '50s sailors, you got the boys surfing. There's a lot going on in this one, so as a tease, it's as you've never seen the boys before."

One Direction director teases 'Kiss You' video

The director of One Direction's forthcoming new video believes it sees the group as "you have never seen then before".

The British boyband have been teasing the video for their new single over the past week with various teasers of the clip.

Speaking to MTV, director Vaughan Arnell said that the 'Kiss You' video will be unlike any other visual promo they have shot before. He said:

"I think it's as you've never seen the boys before, kind of studio-based. I wouldn't say comedy, it's all tongue-in-cheek."

He continued: "And I think in the past, the boys have always been outside, it's always been kind of quite location-based, and this is the first studio-based idea I've done with them. You're going to see them dressed as Hollywood [stars], you're going to see them dressed as '50s sailors, you got the boys surfing. There's a lot going on in this one, so as a tease, it's as you've never seen the boys before."

The full video for 'Kiss You' will be unveiled later today (January 7).

One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles recently added some new body art to his growing collection and explained that he is particularly attracted to the traditional tattoo style typically seen on sailors.

Speaking to US Weekly, the 'Little Things' hitmaker revealed that his new inkings of identical swallows under his collarbones (pictured left) are symbolic of travelling:

"I did get some new tattoos! I got two swallows on my chest. I like that kind of style of tattoos, like the old sailor kind of tattoos. They symbolise traveling, and we travel a lot!"

He added that despite getting new tattoos regularly, he can never get used to how it feels because it's a painful experience: "Anyone who says tattoos don't hurt is a liar!"

Meanwhile, One Direction performed live on last night's (November 8) X Factor USA and have also announced that their new U.S. single will be called 'Kiss You'.

Rod Stewart's shocking confession: 'I used to take cocaine anally'

Iconic rocker Rod Stewart has written a new book, entitled 'Rod: The Autobiography', and in it he chose to reveal some shocking secrets including a particularly bizarre story about his former drug use.

The 'Maggie May' legend explained that he used to take cocaine, but didn't use the narcotic in a traditional way because he didn't want to destroy his nasal passages. He writes:

"We started buying anti-cold capsules from the chemist's, separating the two halves of the capsules, replacing their contents with a pinch of cocaine, and then taking the capsules anally, where, of course, the human body being a wonderful thing, they would dissolve effortlessly into the system."

The autobiography also clears up a long-standing rumour, which suggested that Stewart once has his stomach pumped after ingesting large quantities of semen.

"[Tony Toon, his former publicist] fed the press a story in which, as a consequence of an evening spent orally servicing a gang of sailors in a gay bar in San Diego, I had been required to check into a hospital emergency room to have my stomach pumped."

"I have never orally pleasured even a solitary sailor... And I have never had my stomach pumped, either of naval-issue semen nor of any other kind of semen."

Scissor Sisters unveil 'Baby Come Home' video

Scissor Sisters have unleashed the video for their new single 'Baby Come Home'.

The track is the latest song to be released from their new album 'Magic Hour', following the likes of 'Only The Horses'.

The odd video, which was released this morning (May 30), sees the band dress up in a number of guises, including as nuns and sailors.

There are also witches and prisoners thrown in for good measure before they all come together as one.

As previously reported, Scissor Sisters recently announced a UK and Ireland tour due to take place later this year, with the band playing a number of shows across the two countries.

The trek concludes with a gig at London's Roundhouse on October 25.
