The singer is a dad-in-waiting after wife Rochelle Humes got pregnant earlier this year.

Speaking to Now magazine, the 'Hottest Girl In The World' man said that he is looking to be a very active father, helping out where possible.

He joked that he might even get in contact with Prince William, who is also set to have a child, for advice. Humes said:

"I'm so excited to be a dad - we both can't wait. I'm going to be hands-on, changing the nappies. I'll get stuck in!"

He added: "Prince Wills and I could be dad mates, texting to exchange our tips."

The Saturdays singer and JLS star Marvin Humes - who married in a lavish ceremony at Blenheim Palace in July of this year - took to Twitter last month to announce they are expecting a baby.

The couple - who have had a busy schedule this year, and so have delayed their honeymoon plans - finally jetted to the Maldives this weekend after spending Christmas at home in the UK with their families.

Beauty Rochelle posted a photo to her Instagram account showing off her tiny bump in a floral bikini as she relaxed at their luxury hotel.

The songstress also posted pictures of the view from the couple's suite.

Rochelle also shared her struggles at being pregnant, writing: "Sushi restaurants are now a VERY different experience for me...non alcoholic Mojito and a cucumber roll haha (sic)."

Before jetting off, Marvin took to JLS' Twitter account to write: "So I'm the last of the 4 of us to go on holiday.. Bring me the sunshine! Lets go! Honeymoon time (sic)."

Rochelle and Marvin got engaged on one of the Maldives islands a year ago. 

The beauties are set to release 'What About Us' in the states and tweeted a preview of the single's cover to their fans earlier today (December 12): "Oooh! Check out the US version for the artwork of our new single #WhatAboutUs."

The photograph that graces the cover shows the 'Higher' hitmakers posing against a brilliant white background, wearing a variety of different brightly coloured outfits while holding boomboxes and smiling.

In addition to working on their debut stateside album, The Saturdays' new reality series, which is entitled 'Chasing The Saturdays', will air on E! from January 20, 2013.

Earlier this month, a tweet was sent out from their official account that informed their followers of their recording progress: "In the studio today! Finishing up a few tracks for the NEW ALBUM..whoop!"

The British girl group recently signed a deal with E! for the series Chasing The Saturdays, which will document their attempts to break into the US market.

They have had cameras following their every move as they look to become the next great British music export, following in the footsteps of One Direction.

A trailer for their series has now been revealed, which says the group are trying to "crack America one hit at a time".

The trailer includes clips of the girls performing and enjoying some time off, with Rochelle Wiseman seen talking to her apparently naked husband Marvin Humes on a webcam.

As previously reported, The Saturdays hinted that they could be set to move permanently to the States.

They said that it feels like they already stay there full-time, such is the amount of trips they have made back and forth.

Chasing The Saturdays meanwhile will premiere in the US on January 20.

The month-long event will take place in February 2013 and The Saturdays beauty has called on her fans to get involved in the Rock Up In Red campaign, which involves donating £2 to wear a red item of clothing to raise awareness of the cause on February 1.

She revealed that her own participation comes after losing her own grandfather to a heart attack and spoke about the importance of the foundation in a statement:

"I'm thrilled to be supporting the British Heart Foundation this February by Rocking Up In Red and joining the fight against heart disease. It's a cause very close to my heart, as my grandfather sadly passed away after suffering a heart attack when I was younger."

Meanwhile, King has been expressing her excitement about how quickly Christmas seems to be approaching this year and tweeted: "I've just bought Michael Buble's Christmas album!!! Ahhh Christmas really is coming kids!!!! x"

The stunning songstress - who married singer Humes in a lavish ceremony at Blenheim Palace in July of this year - took to Twitter to announce the couple's happy news.

She wrote: "I wanted to be the first to tell you…we have some exciting news to share! Marvin and I could NOT be more thrilled to announce that we are expecting our first child mid next year. We have always dreamt of being parents and the news is the best early Christmas present we could have asked for. I know Marvin is going to be a great dad and we're so excited to start a family. Thanks for all of your support and lots of love, Rochelle x (sic)."

27-year-old Humes also took to JLS' official twitter page to share his excitement with his followers.

He posted on the social networking site: "Rochelle and I are SOOOO excited to tell everyone that we are expecting our first baby!!! It is absolutely amazing! Baby is due middle of next year and all is great!! We want to say thank you to everyone for their love and support...it means so much to us!!! We are over the moon. Love Marv x (sic)."

Speaking to The Daily Star at the London premiere of 'Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2' (see below), they said:

"It already feels like we live out there at the moment. It's quite hard going back and forth. We think the US needs a big girl band."

The Saturdays confirmed their very own E! reality television show, 'Chasing The Saturdays' on October 29. The series is due to begin on January 20.

The announcement followed band-member Rochelle Wiseman stating that the band have achieved what they could do in their home country and have "put their mark on the UK."

The famous clip, which sees the singer lead a group of zombie dancers, is a popular Halloween theme and it seems JLS have got in on the action.

They dressed up in the ghoulish attire for a heat magazine photoshoot - but it seems there was only one person going to play Jackson. Aston Merrygold said:

"We all would have liked to have been Michael, but there was only one of us that could have been."

Marvin Humes added: "Everyone was fighting to be Michael, but JB won the fight."

Humes meanwhile also spoke about his recent marriage to The Saturdays' Rochelle Wiseman, with the happy couple seemingly doing well. He said: "It's incredible though, man. We're both very, very happy. Obviously, The Saturdays are away in America at the moment, but what they're doing is great. She'll be back soon."
