As previously reported, an image of the Canadian immortalised on the popular animated series recently emerged online ahead of the episode's air date.

Bieber's cameo in the program was shown last night (May 12) - but it only lasted mere seconds.

The audience was also jokingly warned ahead of the singer's appearance, with a subtitle reading:

"Thirty seconds to Justin Bieber - you may start or stop watching according to your beliefs."

The cameo saw the 19-year-old turned away from a local talent contest, with the 'Believe' star annoyed that he wouldn't be able to win the $25 prize.

The Canadian star is due to feature in the popular animated series on Sunday (May 12) as he becomes the latest famous face to get a cameo.

The episode will be called 'The Fabulous Faker Boy' and it will focus on the singer attempting to get into a talent show.

An image from the episode has been released by Entertainment Weekly and it sees the singer looking somewhat glum.

Producer Al Jean previously said of the episode: "He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won't admit him. Draw your own conclusions."

In its 4-star album review, MOJO magazine welcomed the handsome young bard from Nottingham, “who started playing acoustic guitar aged 12, wrote his first songs at 14, was signed to Mercury at 16, and releases this debut [album] at 18.”  
NME hailed the album as “rife with uncommon wit, insight and melody,” characterizing Jake as “a frighteningly talented songwriter… it’s not for nothing he’s won the approval of Noel Gallagher.”

Jake caught the UK music scene’s attention after slaying audiences as the opening act at two of the year’s hottest gigs: namely The Stone Roses’ miniscule secret London show at Village Underground, and a week later, Noel Gallagher’s smallest ever solo performance at Dingwalls.  An NME Live review praised Jake’s “unwavering confidence (bordering on nonchalance, in fact) with which he faces tonight’s sold-out and hugely expectant crowd… Bugg is a special kind of talent.”

Jake Bugg wears his influences on his sleeve, ranging from Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens, to The Simpsons, where he first encountered Don McLean’s “Vincent.”  In an UNCUT magazine ‘We’re New Here’ interview, Jake told the writer, “I’m really a big fan of Donovan, Don McLean, Robert Johnson – a lot of the old Mississippi delta bluesmen.  I try to absorb as many influences into my music as I can."

The Canadian star set tongues wagging when he tweeted yesterday that he was recording a voiceover for the popular animated show, which has a rich history of celebrity cameos.

It appears the tweet has since been deleted, but executive producer Al Jean told Entertainment Weekly that the 'Boyfriend' singer is indeed set to feature in an upcoming episode.

Jean revealed that the show is set to revolve around a talent competition that Bieber can't get access to. He said:

"He tries to get into a talent show that Bart is playing piano in and they won't admit him. Draw your own conclusions."

Jean added: "It's a cameo, but all of his fans should watch every minute of the show, before and after he's on."

The episode is set to be called 'The Fabulous Faker Boy' and is expected to air in 2013.

Titled 'Christians Against Lady Gaga & Beyonce’s SA Tours', the collective now has over 2,300 members and calls for the newly confirmed concerts scheduled to take place in both Johannesburg and Cape Town to be called off.

Some of the group's members have posted messages against the pop icon and one has written: "continue praying that God will intervene and stop Gaga's concert."

Another exclaimed: "Guys let's take time in prayer..against the evil spirits trying to corrupt our young peoples mind through music.."

The wall posts also slam Gaga's provocative stage shows and one Facebook user added: "We need to stand firm against the Lady Gaga concert she is a confessed satanist and a bride of satan letting her in to SA for her concert will bring spells of evil."

This isn't the first time that the 'Born This Way' superstar's performances have been demonstrated against and earlier this year her live date in Jakarta was cancelled after violence towards her was threatened by Indonesian authorities.

The 'Marry The Night' sensation picked up the box and was shocked to pull out a sex toy, but went along with it and joked to her fans at the concert:

"Are you telling me I'm not getting enough action? Was this moral support? That looks expensive. Thank you very much for worrying about my sex life, but I will assure you that all is well."

She then opened another present from her devoted followers while her team changed her outfit in front of the crowd and was overjoyed to find a book filled with love notes from them.

Earlier this morning (June 20), Gaga revealed that she took time out from touring to get an MRI scan done after she was hit over the head with a metal pole and tweeted:

"Went for an MRI. No harm from the concussion but it appears my brain is just water and a large floating jellyfish."

She took to social networking site Twitter both last night and earlier today (June 18) to tell her Little Monsters around the world about how she has enjoyed Sydney's amusements so far:

"I'm here, I'm here! How i love Sydney! Thank you for the warm welcome at hotel. I'm such a lucky girl. Got to rest up before the big show! I had a lovely time in Sydney today. I went to Luna Park, rode the mouse-coaster & had a nice lunch by the water. Very romantic city!"

The pop superstar will perform 4 shows in Sydney (June 20, 21, 23 and 24 respectively) and she has also now confirmed that her current tour will see a set of gigs held in South Africa, and added:

"I am SO EXCITED to be bringing THE BORN THIS WAY BALL to South Africa. Stadium shows! Its a dream come true, you'll have to show me around!"

The singer and performer was forced to share a photograph of the perfume earlier this week after "fashion editors" began to leak it online and she treated her 25.7 million Little Monsters to a sneak peek at the stunning bottle and unusual black liquid that fills it.

Writing on her official Twitter page in the early hours of this morning (June 15), Gaga revealed more details along with the poster that will accompany the eau de parfum:

"And here it is! The first official photograph of my perfume. It's called FAME. The First Ever Black Eau De Parfum."

Her next concert on the Born This Way Ball tour will take place tomorrow night (June 16) in Brisbane, Australia before moving on to Sydney where she will perform at the Allphones Arena on June 20.

She accompanied the photograph of the perfume, named 'Fame', with a simple caption that read: "Looks like photos of my perfume are being leaked. Oh you fashion editors I could just crinkle my hands at you!"

The scent's bottle is a stunning oval shape and the liquid itself, referred to on the label as 'black fluid', is actually black in colour. It also has an angular gold lid.

When asked by one of her 25.6 million Twitter followers if she plans to make a male version of 'Fame', she quickly responded by admitting that there is only the one fragrance at the moment although men could wear it, too:

"My perfume was designed for women, but a lot of my gay friends wear it."

Gaga also shared a photograph of the back of the product's box (pictured top left), which has full details about the fragrance's smell and it is described as "tears of Belladonna, crushed heart of Tiger Orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops".

The 'Hair' sensation is recovering from being accidentally struck on the head by a large metal pole during a recent concert and tweeted a link to a picture earlier today (June 12) that shows her standing with her arm around her close friend DJ White Shadow's neck in a friendly headlock.

She accompanied the shot with the caption: "With my older brother. He says some stupid shit sometimes, but its only cuz he loves me."

Gaga later returned to the social networking site where she uploaded another photograph of false eyelashes and several fake nails, which she sent out with the caption: "Busy tonight, doing what I love the most."

She will perform at Brisbane's Entertainment Centre tomorrow night (June 13) in Australia and will then spend the next 2 nights (June 14, 16) at the venue as part of her Born This Way Ball tour.
