The pair teamed up earlier this year to work on the track 'Dirty Love' for her forthcoming new record 'Warrior', which is released on December 3.

It seems, however, that working with one of her idols got the better of Ke$ha, who told The Sun that the session was a particularly poignant moment in her career. When asked if Iggy Pop reverted to type and recorded topless, the 'Die Young' star said:

"Yes, he was! He recorded topless. He's got a great body. I've never been starstruck in my whole life, but the second I was about to meet him I realised how monumental it was for me and my career, and I broke down like a little b**** and started crying. It was so what I'm not supposed to do."

Waxing lyrical about Iggy, Ke$ha added:

"I'm a huge Iggy fan. I grew up on The Stooges. Iggy is the epitome of punk rock - he's a god. I started off just loving his records and then I started watching live footage of him. He's such an animal on stage, I love it. Then I started reading about his life and he's just so nuts through everything. After I reached out to him, I made it my mission to get him on a song with me before I die, and in my relentless stalking, I have succeeded."

The Sun newspaper reports that the One Direction heartthrob explained how he misses being able to make decisions and have fun without worrying if he will be photographed by the paparazzi or ambushed by fans:

"The fact that you could literally go anywhere, say anything and no one will judge you for it. Now, if I was seen going to do something stupid like go to a kids’ playhouse or something to be childish, people would look at me strangely.”

Meanwhile, the lads picked up 3 awards at last night's MTV EMAs for Best UK and Ireland Act, Best New Act and Best Fans, and they took to their individual Twitter pages to thank their fans for helping them win.

Member Liam Payne wrote: "Thank you to everyone who voted for us at the EMAs! You are the best fans everrrr! Thank you for everything you guys do . Love you allllll."

Speaking to Britain's The Sun newspaper, the heartthrob explained that she reminded him of his mother and he admires women who are powerful and know what they want out of life:

"I look up to a strong woman, maybe that's why I fell for Gaga. She works incredibly hard and is very strong and inspirational like mom, with a great work ethic."

"I still talk to my pop, Dan, but he wasn't prominent in my life. If anyone gets the credit it's mom. Me and my brothers all rally behind mom. She was the matriarch and backbone of our family, our constant. Mom still works 50 hours a week, though she doesn't have to. She enjoys it."

In the same interview, Kinney confessed that he wants to have children in the future, adding: "I do want to give Mom grandchildren, of course. I think I'd be a good dad, it would be a pleasure. I'd love it - and I'm in my 30s now. My mum wants me to get married, and have children of course. She's met Gaga, we've been dating a while, we're in a committed relationship and I'm really happy in my relationship."

"I'm a very lucky guy. As far as having more of a domestic life and settling down into my relationship we have to see what happens."

The I’m A Celebrity star, who was best friends with The King Of Pop for over 40 years, told The Sun that he has concerns over the way his estimated $1 billion fortune is being handled by his lawyers:

“There’s a lot of questions about the will. One of the things people are wondering is how Michael was supposed to have signed that will in LA — when supposedly he was in New York that day.

“If he was in New York, how could he have signed it in LA?”

Jackson’s family has become embroiled in a bitter row over his estate during the last three years, resulting in several public confrontations, including a recent incident where his children were denied access to their grandmother Katherine by some of his siblings, something which Gest admits was unreasonable:

“Was it the wisest decision? No. The kids obviously panicked — justifiably so. They should have been able to speak to her. The family need to heal and come together as a unit.”

Rumours about the two R&B stars’ relationship surfaced last month after Brown was spotted giving her a kiss on the cheek outside a Los Angeles nightclub.

But the former Pussycat Doll, currently dating Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton, told The Sun that such stories are nonsense:

“You are always going to have people saying something or having a picture. But it is complete dross if you and your partner know what the truth is.

“Chris Brown and I are definitely just mates — I have known him since he was younger than 16. We were just talking. Even my mum said, ‘I saw a picture of you’.It’s the same when Lewis had some random girls sitting in the lobby.”

The 34-year-old, currently in the middle of her first series as a judge on The X-Factor, also revealed she believes nothing happened when her boyfriend was also snapped with a group of women at a London hotel:

“Can’t girls just be sitting in the lobby? Maybe they were going to the same party.”

The pair traded blows back in 2007 after Cole called Allen, now named Lily Rose Cooper, a "chick with a dick".

The 'Fear' singer retorted in acerbic style, mocking Cole's apparent use of auto-tune and "sexy" stage routine.

Speaking to The Sun, Cooper said that whilst she doesn't regret anything she has said in the past, she feels it is probably wise to concentrate more on her family than involving herself in a tittle-tattle battle.

She added that she still receives grief from fans of Cheryl Cole due to her role in the feud. The singer said:

"When I first started out in my career, I made quite a lot of controversial statements. I don't regret anything I've ever said because it's all part of growing up and I believed it at the time. I might have said a certain pop group were a bad influence on girls but now I think it's probably more my responsibility to deal with my daughter rather than a band."

Cooper continued: "I said something about Cheryl Cole years ago and her fans are still giving me a hard time on Twitter. But as you get older, you gain more knowledge. So when I get abuse from Cheryl Cole fans now, I don't take it to heart, because they're 12, so it doesn't matter, and in a way I find it quite sweet that these kids feel that passionately about someone. I used to talk about being thin enough and pretty enough and I don't care about that now, but I think that's just part of growing up."

The 27-year-old, who recently slammed the rise of trolls on Twitter, told The Sun’s Fabulous magazine that her use of drink and drugs eventually left her feeling suicidal:

"I woke up one day and wished I was dead. I wanted to kill myself. I had a period where I behaved really badly, I was a complete arse, but I was incredibly unhappy, incredibly messed-up."

The Fashion Police host then credited her stint on Dancing With The Stars for helping her to turn her life around:

"I left London and I went home to LA. I went to rehab, I had therapy and basically I just grew up."

The Irish presenter was forced to say sorry by producers after Tulisa described Melanie Masson as a MILF (mother I’d like to f***) following her performance of INXS’ 'Never Tear Us Apart' during the end of Saturday night’s live show.

He said: "I want to apologise for the language Tulisa used. Naughty, naughty, but that's why we love her."

“It was 28 days of complete intensity, but the most important 28 days of my life. I was in this incredible group, and everyone has stayed sober and we all still stay in touch. I talked a lot, I cried a lot and I thought a lot.

“I had all these stupid things I was worrying about, like the fact I’d lost my libido, and I was able to say them out loud and people would talk about it and I’d feel better. I was very lucky because a lot of people don’t get sober straight away. I still go to therapy meetings and I’m teetotal. I don’t want to go back to being the person I was.”

The I’m A Celebrity…winner, who goes further into detail about his troubles in the group’s new book, 'Unsaid Things,' also revealed how his bandmates tried to help him as much as they could at the time:

"They just wanted to help. All of them did. Tom moved me in with him and Giovanna, Harry and Danny checked up on me all of the time. There was never a sense that I had messed up for them, they just wanted to sort me out."

The 30-year-old, currently starring in Strictly Come Dancing, told The Sun that the group have been in regular contact with each other during the last 12 months in order to organise their upcoming reunion:

“Everything is about to be announced, our plans will be out there on Friday. But we have been meeting with Nadine over the past year to discuss Girls Aloud stuff and we have managed to not get pictured together.

"We want the comeback to have some impact so we have been a bit cheeky with that.

“We have seen more of each other than people think over the past year.To come back as a group you have to feel like a group again so we have all been bonding. It was important that we found that again.”

The Shrek The Musical actress, who last month admitted that she was originally too soft for the music business, also spoke of how proud she was after seeing Cheryl Cole perform on her current arena tour:

“It was amazing, I was so proud of Cheryl. I have seen her perform before obviously but seeing her do a full-on show like that, I felt like a proud mother.

"And it was so nice to sit back and watch someone else perform. It was the first time we have released a picture of us girls together.”
