The Scottish rock veteran last reached the top spot with a Greatest Hits compilation back in 1979 but made a triumphant return today with his first album of original songs in 12 years.

In a busy week for new entries, Gabrielle Aplin’s debut, ‘English Rain,’ had to settle for No.2, just ahead of Vampire Weekend’s third studio effort, ‘Modern Vampires Of The City,’ while former ABBA vocalist Agnetha Faltskog’s comeback, ‘A,’ entered at No.6.

Elsewhere, last week’s number one, Caro Emerald’s ‘The Shocking Miss Emerald,’ dropped to No.4, Rudimental’s ‘Home’ fell to No.5 while there were also debuts for Primal Scream’s ‘More Light’ and The Fall’s ‘Re-Mit.’

The 26-year-old star is famed for her wacky dress sense and larger-than-life personality.

Speaking to British magazine Look: ''I like taking a masculine style and making it sexy. I love suits and I always look to Keith Richards.

Ke$ha also revealed the reasoning behind her eclectic dress sense.

The star - who admits she once dyed her hair a drastic shade of blonde to look like an animal - says she takes inspiration from a range of people, places and things.

She added: ''I go from one extreme to the other. I've been influenced by everything, 80s wrestlers, at one point I wanted to look like a white lion, which is why I dyed my hair white.''

The 27-year-old singer wed Giovanna Falcone in May of last year.

The pair recently celebrated their first wedding anniversary, and now Fletcher has revealed the unusual way they like to spice things up at home.

He told British newspaper The Daily Star: “We watch back-to-back episodes of Downton in bed, and then do some role play. We even have invisible servants! It’s very fun.”

The star melted the hearts of women across the country after posting a video late last year of himself singing his wedding speech.

In an interview earlier this year Fletcher said the idea came about after failing to read out aloud his speech without succumbing to embarrassment.

"I couldn't even read it out to myself without cringing. We were on tour and I had a piano in my hotel room, to help me write, so I thought, 'I wonder if I could sing it?'."

The two stars will be reunited with Adam Levine and Blake Shelton on the judging panel of the hit TV talent show.

In a statement, Paul Telegdy, President of Alternative and Late Night Programming said: "We locked in a plan several months ago to have the outstanding Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green rejoin Blake and Adam for cycle 5, and we're pleased to announce that the original four coaches are going to be back together in the fall.

"They're the reason this show was launched so strong for the first three cycles and we owe them a debt of gratitude."

Aguilera and Green were replaced by Shakira and Usher on this season. The two new mentors will return to the show for cycle six.

Telegdy added: "And after careful consideration of everyone's schedules for next spring, we are excited to be returning the current cycle of judges -  Shakira and Usher along with Blake and Adam - for cycle 6, which will premiere after the Winter Olympics."

Shakira recently revealed her desire to take time off from the show to spend time with her baby son.

She said: "I'm not going to be able to do next season because I have to get back to my motherhood and also get back to the studio, the recording studio, to finish my album, the one that I started working on before I had to deliver a baby and before I took this gig with The Voice. So yeah, I have to take a little break. But you never know, I might come back!"

NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt gushed about the opportunity of having all six stars on The Voice US.

He said: "We're very fortunate to have these six incredible artists to weave in and out of the show as their performing and recording schedules permit. The show has taken off largely due to the rapport and commitment of these great coaches, in addition to the expert hosting of Carson Daly."

The film became a talking point last year after photos of the rapper, real name Curtis Jackson, surfaced in which he had lost a significant amount of weight in order to accurately portray the role. He also revealed in a previous interview with Rap Up magazine that a friend was his inspiration for the film's plot:

"My motivation for the project was my best friend, Charles Pringle. He lived across the street from me; he actually died of cancer.”

The script was written by the 'Baby By Me' star and documents the life of an NFL hopeful who tragically gets diagnosed with cancer. Watch the clip below:

‘Things Fall Apart’ is based on the true story of promising college football player Deon Barnes who was tragically diagnosed with cancer.

Actor Cedric Sanders, who plays 50’s brother in the movie, admits he was thrilled to work with the rapper.

“I’m proud to have been part of this film,” he says. “Working with 50 Cent was truly inspiring. We'd have a break from rehearsals and he would immediately head outside to workout."

Ray Liotta also co-stars.
