Twisted Sister's Dee Snider to star on Broadway

Hot on the heels of Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong joining the Broadway show 'American Idiot' this week, Twister Sister’s Dee Snider has signed up to star in another show on the Great White Way, 'Rock of Ages'.

'Rock of Ages', unsurprisingly, features a whole slew of ’80s headbanging anthems including Twister Sister’s ‘I Wanna Rock’ and ‘We’re Not Gonna Take It’.

Snider has signed up to play the role of the show’s nightclub boss Dennis for 11 weeks beginning October 11. He’s already enjoying a fresh stint in the public eye thanks to his starring role on US network A&E’s reality show, ‘Growing Up Twisted’. And he’s also about to debut as the host of another series, ‘Rock Senate Hearings’ which will begin airing on the network October 19.

Guess Snider, 55, really said, “We’re not gonna take it”. Retirement that is.

Watch a sneak peek for 'Growing Up Twisted' on A&E below:
