Pop songstress Ke$ha recently confessed that she once drank her own pee out of curiosity, but has now admitted that it wasn't to her liking.

Back in February, the 'Die Young' hitmaker told reporters that while filming footage for her 'My Crazy Beautiful Life' a cameraman caught her on tape taking a swig of urine although she has now explained to The Hollywood Reporter that it was "gross":

"I'm also just one that doesn't shy away from things. I'm not good at saying 'no' so I just figure, fuck it, I'll try anything once. So I tried it. I wouldn't recommend it. It was pretty gross. And I don't think it really did anything very beneficial to me so, yeah, I wouldn't probably do it again."

Ke$ha has also just been added to the bill of this year's T in the Park Festival, which is due to be held in Balado, Kinross between July 12-14. Rihanna, Mumford & Sons and The Killers are headlining.

Mitch Winehouse on Beyoncé's cover of 'Back To Black': 'Money received will help charity'

The father of the late Amy Winehouse has spoken out in defense of Beyoncé's cover of 'Back To Black', which features on the soundtrack of the upcoming movie, 'The Great Gatsby'.

Beyoncé recorded a cover of the well-loved Amy song especially for the film and Mitch Winehouse took to his official Twitter page earlier today (April 22) to tell fans of his daughter that he thinks the song will generate a lot of money from downloads that will in turn benefit the Amy Winehouse Foundation:

"I like Beyoncé's cover and have no probs. monies received will help lots of kids. She can do another cover if she wants. We need the money!"

The Daily Mail, meanwhile, quoted Mitch as saying he wasn't asked permission before the 'Halo' superstar covered the song: "I don't think she brings anything to it. I wasn't asked for my permission if they could record it. They have got to pay for the privilege, which is what they are doing. I can't tell you how much it is but it's a lot of money."

'The Great Gatsby' will be shown in UK cinemas from May 16 and in U.S. theatres from May 10.

The Wanted's Nathan Sykes has admitted that he misses the UK as he recovers from a throat operation in the US.

As previously reported, the singer recently underwent surgery on his vocal cord after a reported hemorrhaging nodule was found.

It means he needs to take an "unforeseen hiatus" from The Wanted as he recuperates from the operation, which could take months.

The group have been in the US for some time to film a new reality TV show but speaking on Twitter, Sykes admitted that he is homesick. He said:

"LA, I love you …but nearly 2 and a half months without being home is killing me. My cat isn't even gonna remember who I am when I get home…sad times."

Sykes meanwhile has also been spotted in a wheelchair as he recovers from his operation, which reportedly could see the singer unable to speak for a period of time.
