After an extended break from singing due to vocal problems John is finally back on the road to tour his acclaimed album ‘Born and Raised’. ANNOUNCE UK ARENA TOUR

Monday 13th May – Orange County’s Avenged Sevenfold have today announced that they will be heading to the UK to tour for the first time since their epic main stage performance at Download Festival in June 2011. The eagerly anticipated return will see the band hitting the historic Wembley Arena in London along with Manchester Arena and the LG Arena, Birmingham in November / December of this year.

Avenged Sevenfold’s 5th studio album, ‘Nightmare’ (certified Gold), earned the band its highest ever debut on the Billboard album chart when it took the No. 1 spot and spawned hit singles ‘Nightmare’,  ‘So Far Away’ and ‘Welcome To The Family’. In November of last year the band also made an unprecedented appearance as characters in the Call of Duty Black Ops 2 video game. The 'Suit & Tie' superstar won by an impressive 34% of the vote, but girl power proved popular as songstress Adele and Beyoncé came in second and third with 19% and 14% respectively.

Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber didn't do so well with the 571 voters though as he was the only artist named in the results who was disliked by all groups including democrats (54%), republicans (56%) and independents (56%).

MTV reports that 60% of the people who voted in the poll were over 45-years-old and a large number of them (77%) said that classical music was their preferred genre.

Meanwhile, earlier this month Timberlake revealed plans for a '20/20' world tour although he has only confirmed a set of North American and Canadian dates so far.

The star's hit single 'Baby', which has gone 12 times Platinum since its release in 2010, has been named the highest certified song in American music history.

The 'Boyfriend' heartthrob has now beaten Elton John's double-sided 'Candle in the Wind/Something About the Way You Look Tonight,' which went 11 times platinum back in 1997 and previously held the impressive record.

The recent change made by the Recording Industry Association of America, which incorporates on-demand streaming data when it comes to measuring gold and platinum success, helped Bieber in reaching the feat as 100 streams is now considered equivalent to one download.

While she hasn't revealed the date of the ceremony, in which she will marry Nickelback's frontman, she explained that "the most fun part, so far, has been coming up with the location." When asked if the location was Paris or France, the 'Sk8er Boi' star couldn't stop grinning and joked, "I'm just smiling!"

Several other allusions were made to the country during the chat and they all got the same response from the beauty.

Despite enjoying most of the planning, Lavigne explained that getting people's information for invites has been very stressful: "The one thing that was the pain in the ass was getting everyone's names and addresses and all of that stuff."

Speaking about her music video for 'Here's To Never Growing Up', which she co-wrote with fiancé Chad Kroeger, she explained that there were several ideas for the video direction: "I had my original idea and then we had a bunch of different directors submit concepts. He was 74 years old and the band announced his death via a message on their official Facebook page. Manzarek passed away at RoMed Clinic in Rosenheim, Germany with his loved ones at his bedside.

The message, which includes a quote from Doors' guitarist Robby Krieger, explains: "At the time of his passing, he was surrounded by his wife Dorothy Manzarek, and his brothers Rick and James Manczarek."

"'I was deeply saddened to hear about the passing of my friend and bandmate Ray Manzarek today,' said Krieger. 'I'm just glad to have been able to have played Doors songs with him for the last decade. Ray was a huge part of my life and I will always miss him.'"

Speaking to Georgia Holt on '20/20', the 'If I Could Turn Back Time' superstar explained that out of all of her records it's most like 'Believe' and she can't wait to share it with her fans:

"It's about being fabulous. Truthfully, I'm not a huge Cher fan and I've said this many times, but I think this is the best album I've ever done. The songs are so brilliant. I got so lucky. The closest thing to this album I think is the 'Believe' album."

She previously revealed that she had recorded a duet with pop sensation Lady Gaga for the collection of songs, but is now unsure whether the track is likely to make the final cut: "Lady GaGa may not want to be on the album."

Both Gomez and Bieber were at the 2013 Billboard Music Awards last night (May 19) and while they embraced backstage, hitmaker Taylor Swift could be seen walking past and grimacing at their hug and cheek kiss.

Herald.ie quotes her as saying that she hasn't spent time with the 'Glad You Came' heartthrob in 18 months, which is sad as they were a close family: "I haven't seen Siva in nearly 18 months, nobody has seen him. He is in the States all the time."

"However, he's going to come home in June to do a gig in Cork and he's going to see my mum then."

35-year-old Hazel added that she has a great relationship with Siva and his twin brother, Kumar, because their father died when they were young so she would help look after them:

"We're a very close family and I have a special bond with the twins, Siva and Kumar, because I was 12 when they were born, so I changed their nappies. It's lovely to see him going on – finally one of us is holding the torch."

The customized VOX guitar sold for double the predicted amount during the music auction at Times Square's Hard Rock Café on May 18 and the auction house, Julien's Auctions, explained:

"The rare offering of a VOX guitar played by both John Lennon and George Harrison is what rock & roll legends are made of."

Harrison rehearsed 'I Am The Walrus' on the instrument while Lennon used it in a video shoot for 'Hello Goodbye', both of which feature on 1967 album 'Magical Mystery Tour'.

The guitar was custom made by Mike Bennett and Dickey Denney, and was given to "Magic Alex" Mardas, an engineer at Apple Records and close friend of the Beatles, back in 1967.

Member Howie Dorough told MTV News that to see a new group paying homage to an act as established as themselves was great as it's important to acknowledge music's history:

"I think they did a good job on it. One of the writers, that's written almost all their big stuff, Rami Yacoub, he worked with us in the early days with Max Martin and stuff like that, some of the biggest songs of ours. The sound that they've originated was definitely not too far from where it came, from the same Swedish camp."

"It's nice to see groups like that pay homage to us. We definitely paid homage to groups in the earlier days that we admired like Boyz II Men, Color Me Badd, Shai, New Edition." Dorough added: "So it's cool. I think they did a great job. It seemed like it went over really well."

Speaking from the Billboard Music Awards' 'blue carpet' last night (May 19), the 'Lego House' superstar explained that there was a delay because of his current 'Red' tour with Taylor Swift, but progress is being made:

"I turned it in today. It's (due) early next year. It was going to be this year but I don't finish touring till October and then there's no time to get a plan together. I'm going to spend October, November, December planning and then just smash it out next year."

When asked about recording, Sheeran confessed that it will being towards the end of this summer: "All the songs are written. I'm going in to record them in August. The direction will take shape then."

"The songs are good, which is the main thing. I think you can have good songs and then you can put any sort of production behind it but as long as the songs are good."

Speaking to Seventeen magazine, the 'Wings' ladies explained that because the lads have enjoyed such amazing success in America they wanted to know how to approach trying to launch their career there so asked for some words of encouragement:

"I asked the boys from One Direction how to make it in America and they basically said, 'Be yourself and you can't go wrong'. People know when you're trying to be someone you're not."

Singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock added: "Just be true to who you are. So that's what we've been doing!"
