Socialite and singer Paris Hilton has been signed to Lil Wayne's Cash Money Records and revealed that her next move will be to work on an album full of 'house music'.

Speaking to Showbiz 411, the heiress explained: "This is a lot different than my first album. It's really going to be house music." While Cash Money reps have confirmed the surprising news, a spokesperson for Hilton told MTV:

"Paris Hilton is in talks with a number of record labels right now but we can't confirm anything. When a deal is finalized we will make an official announcement."

Cash Money's other artists include rappers Nicki Minaj and Drake, although they're signed to Young Money Entertainment, which is a subsidiary of the label.

Hilton is no stranger to the YMCMB crew as last year she released a track with Weezy named 'Last Night' and he was also at her birthday event earlier this year in Los Angeles. She launched her music career back in 2006 with a self-titled debut album and lead single called 'Stars Are Blind'.

McFly have expressed their desire to keep penning songs for One Direction.

The British quartet wrote the track 'I Would' for the band's latest album 'Take Me Home', whilst mainman Tom Fletcher also contributed the song 'I Want' for their 2011 debut 'Up All Night'.

Speaking to the Daily Star, Fletcher said that whilst he is picky in choosing which acts he would like to write for, McFly's relationship with One Direction is a fruitful one.

He added that he would like to keep contributing songs for the 'Live While We're Young' band in the future. Fletcher said:

"It's quite a selective process, writing for other bands. I don't want to write a song for just anyone. I only do it for people I really like because that's when you do your best work, so I hope the relationship we have with One Direction can continue."

The 'Love Is Easy' man continued: "I love great pop music. When 'What Makes You Beautiful' came out it was like a breath of fresh air. It's perfect pop and you don't think about anything else. The new Taylor Swift single is the same."

The two acts previously teamed up for the track 'Moments', which appeared as a bonus track on One Direction's 2011 debut record 'Up All Night'.

Sheeran worked again on the pop group's forthcoming new album 'Take Me Home', writing two songs for the band.

Speaking to Capital FM, Louis Tomlinson praised the singer-songwriter's lyrical abilities, calling him one of the best songwriters of recent times. He said:

"He's just one of the best lyricists of our generation, so having the chance to work with him is amazing. It was really important for us. His method recording-wise...you just do a couple of takes because he likes to keep it really raw and really real."

Bandmate Zayn Malik meanwhile added: "It's all just chilled. The whole vibe of his studio is chilled out. He's got a field and sometimes you just sit out on the field and jam with a guitar, play a little bit of football, walk into the studio when you feel like it, walk back out when you feel like it.
The pop group are set to release their second album 'Take Me Home' on November 12 and Sheeran told MTV that he has penned two songs for it.

The flame-haired singer-songwriter previously wrote the song 'Moments' for the bonus edition of One Direction's 2011 debut album 'Up All Night' and he added that the new tracks will follow suit in terms of lyrical content. He said:

"The two songs that I wrote for One Direction's album are the same subject matter as the last song I wrote for the last album 'cause they're from the same batch of songs. They're both about my ex-girlfriend."

One of them is kind of a getting-back together song. One of them is an appreciation song. I can't say the titles. The song that I think will be the single - one of the singles - is kind of a very sweet song."

One Direction's lead single from 'Take Me Home' - 'Live While We're Young' - is set to be released in the UK on September 30.

One Direction have revealed that their forthcoming new album 'Take Me Home' is "miles" different than their debut and is better as a result.

The British pop group released their successful maiden album 'Up All Night' in 2011 and they will follow that up with their new record on November 12.

The Sun quotes Niall Horan as saying that 'Take Me Home' is more "live-sounding" than their first album, with the drums in particular becoming more prominent.

And he reckons that the record is better than 'Up All Night'. The Irishman said:

"It's a million miles away from our old album. It's a bit more of a live-sounding album. The drums are a bit harder."

Horan continued: "When you make a second album, I think the thing to do is outdo your first one and personally I think we've done that. It's way better."

One Direction hint at new film release

One Direction have suggested that they are recording a new DVD or film.

The boyband released their successful debut DVD 'Up All Night: The Live Tour' earlier this year, which documented their life on the road.

Speaking to 4Music at the iTunes Festival last night (September 20), One Direction revealed that they are currently being filmed.

The quintet were asked about rumours of a One Direction film, with the lads appearing to be unsure what to say.

Harry Styles however piped up, saying: "We're taking a camera crew with us at the moment and filming everything that we're doing. So we don't know, we're going to have loads of footage."
